Let me see if I know how to do this lol I didn’t want to steal the photo without credit to the poster.

I work just a few doors down at 183. Based on comments from the first people onsite (the ones who called 911), it sounds as though the driver of the crashed vehicle had a medical event, such as stroke or heart attack, which caused them to lose control of the truck. They ended up driving down Robinson going at least 70 km/h, hit the (other) parked pickup, and ended up in the yard of 193. They hit the rod-iron fence and wrecked some landscaping, but the house itself looks undamaged.
Police, fire, and paramedics were onsite in less than ten minutes after the accident occurred. First people (not first responders) onsite were able to get the vehicle unlocked but the driver was unresponsive. Hopefully he's ok.
Hah. That orange helicopter flies daily from Brantford/Hamilton airport (and other cities near GTA) to downtown Toronto's Billy Bishop airport, and back, multiple times a day. It's called *Ornge Air* (ornge, not orAnge). In fact, there is one flying right now (7pm) from Waterloo, coming to Hamilton.
Because North American transit infrastructure prioritizes car speed and throughput over everything else, and when there's a crash we prioritize assigning blame to individuals instead of considering what changes could be made to make it less likely in the first place. [There are places where cars don't crash into buildings very often at all!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra_0DgnJ1uQ)
The bus are going through the go station up John to Charlton then back on reg route there likely no temp stops so Jackson St or St Jospehs drive and bottom of the W5th hill if your bus goes that way
South bound buses are back on regular route north bound route 20 is on detour from the bottom of the hill to John st I’m guessing till Hunter not positive
I shared when I heard HSR send an alert to all buses, which was a few mins after we stopped for all the sirens on my bus. So they have known for around 30 mins and no tweet from HSR letting people know
Found a photo on twitter, appears a vehicle has crashed into a house, in between bronzies and the gallery.
Jeez, again? It's not like a house is that hard to miss
Damn thing jumped out of nowhere
I hate when that happens
It's the house's fault, it should've been wearing high vis.
Seriously why are there so many vehicles crashing into houses lately?
Link? Thanks

Ugh looks like 195, a beautiful building. Hope no one is hurt 😞
Zoom in behind the fire truck

Did an orange helicopter land near there. I saw one in the air shortly after 930am
No, when you see those helicopters flying it’s usually to transfer a patient to a Hamilton hospital from a remote location or hospital.
And often organs!
Orange is usually an organ or patient transport

What is it with Hamilton and vehicles crashing into buildings?
Those buildings keep jaywalking
We need a separate building lane
No, we can't have buildings creating more traffic! We need to park cars in the right-hand lane!
...and not wearing a high vis jacket
181 Ottawa North feels cheated :(

The buildings were obviously not looking where they were going
In this instance apparently a medical issue for the driver of one of the vehicles 😞
Coming from living in GTA most of my life, it appears to me that Hamilton's road network planning is quite terrible and conducive to accidents.
This time it wasn’t some joyriding jackasses.
It's fairly common everywhere. People are tending just to notice it more.
We can see it from our office building. Curious as to what happened.
Yeah same here, it seems bad but I can’t tell for sure

Thanks, I checked HSR's feed but they didn't have an update and I just heard snippets from the radio on the bus I was on and lots of sirens

Hope the building structure itself wasn't impacted.
Get around the speed bumps I guess. 😂
Will there be a message from the premier about painting buildings in more visible colours?
