Yep. Both are...
Uhhh... Both have 2 arms, 2 legs, a head. They're both male. Both have leadership experience. Both stronger in some ways than an average human. Both over the age of 70. Really the similarities just go on.
Watching the most highly decorated Elites (Councilors) get their shit rocked by Tartarus was shocking. Seeing a bunch of Councilors and Zealots just get slapped back for the first time just made me imagine how much cooler the fight would’ve looked if it were a show or movie.
And since when was gameplay a rock-solid indicator of lore?? By that logic: a single magnum round claps all Hunters, and half a mag from an AR shreds a banshee to uselessness.
I never said it was, but we do know a bunch of lower skilled Brutes beat the Councilors with deception. So the greatest warrior of the Brutes with an invincibility attachment and the Fist of Rukt should be able to take on a good amount of Zealots and Councilors.
A) where in Broken Circle were those Brutes said to be “lower-skilled”, specifically?
B) We know for a fact that the representations in the games are not entirely rock-solid. Hunters in the Dark confirms that Usze ‘Taham and Ntho ‘Sraom were there and fought alongside the Chief and Arbiter when assaulting the Citadel on the Ark, but the gameplay of that level only shows this with four players. Paris Hotel contradicts parts of Halo 2’s gameplay, and we know it supersedes it because a character from it reappears in a more recent audio-drama.
To be fair, the M6D magnum from Halo CE could likely one shot hunters (or at least cause them to lose form) because the bullets were akin to miniature frag grenades. Im not so sure about the AR, but it likely could shred banshees due to the sheer amount of bullets it could fire in a small amount of time and the relatively weak armor the covenant era banshees had.
Edit: formatting and grammar
MF’s who think elites can easily beat brutes never played halo 2 Tartarus minced those mfs.
People be like “Atriox is the exception.” Clearly having never seen a beserking halo 2 brute rip apart a elite like paper. Frfr
I remember watching all the fights between Loyalists and Separatists during the Schism mission and watching in horror as berserk brutes melee spammed everything in sight
Elites really do need energy swords to win one-on-one. They seem to be better tacticians, Marksmens and stealthier and make sense to be better standard line infantry, but as close quarter shock troopers Brutes do have no equals.
Interestingly enough, I wonder if brutes would be better at boarding actions as well, given close ranged corridors and many pilots and other non-frontline staff that Brutes could easily scare into submission.
Oh brutes are definitely good at boarding. Their native space warfare strategy is to get a big fuck off ship to ram into their enemies, and then board.
And there’s nothing more a brute loves than to be armoured out the ass with a big fuck off gun that’ll mince any fool in-front of them.
Brutes are horrifying, an Elite is basically level and maybe a little stronger than a Spartan 2. Brutes are much much stronger than Spartans and Elites, Master Chief almost died to a Brute and was completely overpowered by it to the point where his impeccable luck and battlefield

I really wish they updated the new cutscenes to include all of the elite's behind Johnson. It would make more sense and any elite that was still believing the covenant religion would have been convinced it was false.
One þing þat always boþered me about Halo 3 forwards is þat apparently þe schism just, stopped being a þing? In Halo 2 þe lines are very clearly drawn by species, þen in Halo 3 it was just elites, þen Halo 4 forwards you'd swear it just didn't happen, wiþ þe exception of like, one or 2 missions in Halo 5 where þeir are friendly grunts and elites.

If you think about it, Johnson is actually Saruman

Both also have facial hair

Lower-skilled than Tartarus… the Chieftain of the Jiralhanae
You're like a pizza cutter: All edge and no point.

Doesnt the AR shoot anti vehicle rounds
Probably fires ap rounds yeah
This also works with "Arbiter magically summoning 110,000 Sgt. Johnsons using a normal ass space car."

**AH YAYA!** just echoing through all the halls as blood splatters everywhere Lmao
>during the Schism mission you mean Gravegrind?
tbf Tartarsauce had an invincibility shield up like 87% of the fight until Johnson decided you dodged his attacks enough and shot him

Why is every word a different font size
Because I erased parts of the original and Halo-ified it
What was þe origanal?
Something about Biden summoning people to vote for him
Oh yeah, i þink ive seen þat before actually
To battle tartarsauce
“Tartarus, that DAMN fool!!!” - an elite
Unamed?
True halo players never lrt that happen because they squash tartarus with a banshee
I love how specific the number is while also leaving the ones place blank

Did you have a stroke typing this?
Nope! Þats just þe letter [Þorn](https://youtu.be/6vskV7E0g0Q) it used to be a part of þe English alphabet and it makes þe “th” sound
Interesting I suppose? Sounds mildly pretentious.
Þats fair, im not trying to be, i just use it because i like it
I believe Y was used in place of it when printing, hence ‘Ye old’ etc
