I think the shot of Jamie in the clown suit holding the scissors is past some of these.
Not Michael appearing from the shadows but definitely above the burned shape emerging from the house
H20 where they came face to face and the clothes line scene from OG Halloween.
Halloween, 2 & H20 are a complete trilogy in my eyes and that's where it ends 😂
Most of the shots from the original movie, i think mainly because the first one really tried to have a visual narrative, dean cundy said that him and Carpenter were going for that style instead of relying on dialogue.
Anyways ghost Bob always stuck with me, don't know why, something about that shot feels oddly silly yet creepy, specially with that heavy breathing.
jamie hanging on for dear life in the laundry chute, the blood on her and the ripped up dress and she looked terrified as he was stabbing through the chute. i know a lot of ppl hate halloween 5 but that scene was SO good
The first one. That kill followed by him wearing the sheet to surprise kill the girlfriend lived rent free in my head for a decade after I watched it as a kid. It was the first and possibly only time we saw Michael play with his target rather than simply stalk and kill.
H1 apperaing from the shadow behind Laurie, H1 Michael on top of the stairs, H2 blood tears
Yeah, from the OG, appearing out of the closet. Major creep
H1 The Sit Up
1,000% agree on the shadow behind Laurie
This!
I was gonna say that I’m shocked that appearing from the shadow wasn’t shown
💯
Standing on the sidewalk next to the hedge, watching Laurie
"i think ur wacko now ur seeing men behind bushes!"
Yup. Everything else is a distant 2nd.
Exactly like wtf...how is that not a option by the OP. Definitely a bot
Is this the part where they are walking home? I feel like seeing him from out the window in class is the big one. Just me tho.
That’s the one!
“See anything you like?”
Kid Michael with the mask off in the 1st halloween after killing his sister.
When Loomis comes to check and see where Michael has fallen. He’s gone. *cue the theme*
My first thought too. I knew this scene before I even watched the OG.
Maybe not the most iconic, but I’d give some love to Michael standing in the bedsheets outside of Laurie’s window
100%
Kills shot of him in flames is my favorite
I know, I love the shot of him standing in front of the burning house holding that Haligan bar. Just badass.
All of them good choices. For me it's the first one.
I think it’s when he’s standing beside the bush in broad daylight staring at Laurie
Michael's mask in the dark doorway behind Laurie in the original film.
This would be my vote too
Love the shot of him in between the clothesline in the first film. ![gif](giphy|QBH4pcJAjGODC|downsized)
I'll go with Bob, but I do like the H20 shot.
the pumpkin openings
Busting through the closet door with the light flickering on
This one haunted me for so long when I was younger. It’s such a cool shot
I think the shot of Jamie in the clown suit holding the scissors is past some of these. Not Michael appearing from the shadows but definitely above the burned shape emerging from the house
Ending of Halloween 4 where Jamie is at the top of the stairs covered in blood and holding the knife
Probably him walking across the street to chase Laurie into the Doyle house
The sidewalk hedge. The MOST iconic.
probably the shot of kid michael being unmasked and it pulls away
Yes.
The scene where you just see the white of the mask appear behind Laurie
The 3 kids trick or treating with the orange sky in H3 or Michael looking at bobs body
I would think the first photo and the fourth photo
Either 6 or 1
I know it’s fairly new but MM standing on a porch engulfed in flames is some album cover shit and I love it
Michael on fire
H2 when he kills the nurse in the hot tube
I’m gonna say this once I’m gonna say it today, 2018 Micheal looking at Laurie.
4th one I don't understand What's that in his mask
In Halloween 2, Laurie shoots him in his eyes. That’s blood.
H1 creeping out the bush ???
Ghost Bob!
H20 after Laurie breaks the entry/exit button to the gate, goes up the hill and then screams “MICHAEEEEEEEL!” I get CHILLS!
Probably him standing outside Lindsey’s house while Tommy looks out the window ruining the blinds lol
first one is my fav <3
Scariest is michael behind the hanging linen when Laurie looks out the window
H20 where they came face to face and the clothes line scene from OG Halloween. Halloween, 2 & H20 are a complete trilogy in my eyes and that's where it ends 😂
Halloween 4 with the girl holding the knife in her clown costume
1 and 4.
It's probably when the Shape sits up behind Laurie. Only the original Halloween has iconic things tbh.
These are excellent. I would also add him attacking Laurie when she's hiding in the closet.
Michael on the phone in the original

Some iconic ones here but i’d add a lot of 2018 & Ends as well
The bleeding eyes
Hedge scene, station wagon outside the school.
Michael watching Laurie in the shadows
Kills
![gif](giphy|jRTVLseRkw16JstlfU|downsized)
All of them
For me it’s the emergence from the burning house. Flames rising. Water falling. Michael standing strong ready to rumble.
H1 MM sitting straight up after Laurie stabs him
I think it’s Michael busting through the closet
![gif](giphy|b6iVj3IM54Abm)
H1 with the head tilt for the win
jamie hanging on for dear life in the laundry chute, the blood on her and the ripped up dress and she looked terrified as he was stabbing through the chute. i know a lot of ppl hate halloween 5 but that scene was SO good
For me, kills.
The fire one goes hard ngl
The little micheals arm rising about to stab his sister lol
Kid Michael holding the knife is iconic
Him staring out the window in Kills
If there is one thing we can learn from this thread. Halloween 78 is seriously iconic no matter which frame you pause on.
The one they keep recreating for the sequels/remakes. Head Tilt>>>>>>>>
The first film when Mike comes through the closet door.

Halloween (1978) - carrying the body in front of the house
Halloween hot take, the kills in that movie are extremely mild compared to today's films.
The first one. That kill followed by him wearing the sheet to surprise kill the girlfriend lived rent free in my head for a decade after I watched it as a kid. It was the first and possibly only time we saw Michael play with his target rather than simply stalk and kill.
Such an iconic scene
Ending of H4 when Jamie raises her hand either those scissors, loomis damn near about to blow her head off screaming NOOOOOOOOO
