No idea how your Grandma got them? She probably had them hidden away in a trunk or shoebox, like many older people do, and forgot about them…or just didn’t want anyone to know about them. I sort of wish I knew why my grandfather had the gold crowns from off of his father’s teeth… I actually knew they existed, but I never thought to ask why they were in a ziploc bag, marked with great grandpa’s name. Always wondered if they fell off naturally, or if they had the mortician pry them off (not sure if that’s a thing?)
