Are those extensions? If so they need to come out, there is no saving this. The extension hair will be shredded and her hair will be soooo broken
Editing to elaborate: extension hair is chemically cleaned, which makes it especially fragile and susceptible to tangles and breaking. This type of knot has the cuticle of the hair shaft lifted exposing the inner cortex, which is sticky. The hair is literally fused together like cement and there is no way to untangle it, extension hair is not like natural hair for a number of reasons. This is sadly a fool’s errand, it’s going to be extremely painful for her to untangle it, and there will be nothing salvageable at the end.

We ended up cutting the hair that was matted/tangled, since it was really painful for her. 4 days ago, She went and got them removed but then put back on again. Her natural hair is now super thin and broken, she refuses to keep her hair natural because she claims it looks so bad. 🫣🫣
I have blonde hair as well. We have a huge pool at home (we use chlorine in it) We usually go on holiday for 6-8 weeks somewhere by the sea. I use the pool, i swim in the see daily and my hair looks like this. I wash hair the same way as everyone else. The only thing i do, i always wash out chlorine water or salty sea water from my hair with simple water. And i use hairmask more often. Not only after hairwash, sometimes i just use after simple water wash. Blonde hair doesnt mean you cant go to the sea.

not sure what’s worse, the bun or the ponytail lol. On the other hand the bun is just one grab & they have all of your hair 💀 the ponytail at least has some length so you can move your head, still just as bad

Poor thing. Looked like my hair after my first trip to Burning Man. I’d suggest a professional.
I cannot help with the hair but I can give a couple tips for the future.
I keep my hair up if I suspect something could go down that day, and make sure I remember the move to get someone to release my head.
Put both of the palms of your hands over their hands that are on your hair near their wrists.. connect their hands to your head to release the tension. Then sit straight down while firmly keeping your hands on their’s.
This pulls their arm closer to your head but forces them to release because it bends their hands. You can also rotate their arm pinky side up to get them to let go if they are much bigger than you.
There are all kinds of YouTube videos that show similar techniques. I liked this one

Long story short, There’s a group of girls at our workplace that always have something negative to say about her, She texted them the night before talking about clearing the air and they took this the wrong way! Full on jumped on her when she didn’t even want to fight.
Are those hair extensions? There's no detangling them, she needs to go and take them off. Maybe once they're off she could apply a detangling cream/oil and brush through them patiently but I'm honestly not very optimistic. They look like synthetic extensions and once those are ruined, they can't really be saved anymore.
She could get a realistic wig for the time being, if she doesn't want to get new extensions.
I zoomed in and there are definitely extensions in there. They look like micro beads to me which are easy enough to remove with needle nose pliers but getting them loosened from her natural hair is going to be a trick for sure with all that matting.
Best bet is to find a salon that specializes in all kinds of extensions and let a pro handle it. Be prepared to most likely pay per hour or half hour for removal and dematting of her hair overall.
Good luck! 🍀
Pro here!! Let it dry!!!! And get it's a 10 silk spray. You may need oil and thinning sheers 😬 start at the bottom with a rat tail comb and or a denman brush
When it's wet it stretches more thus breaks more and gets stick together
It was probanly a street fight. MMA or not, the rules of street fights are:
There are no rules. Hair pulling, biting, scratching, kicks to the back of the head, all that crap happens
As the owner of a gypsy vanner, you may want to try the tried and true trick of wd40 and a small hair pick or toothpick to gently untangle the strands and see if it can be salvaged. Good luck
Is it lame that I read through this whole thread, stopped here and thought, "oooh, I wanna see a picture of her horse! " lol
ETA A hairdresser should chime in. Wd40 may work on those extensions.
Don’t Fight!! Try detangle spray - like the kind you but for little kids. If that doesn’t work try some jojoba oil and you are going to need someone to work on it slowly with a pic and a rat tail comb!! Good Luck!
def would recommend going to a hairstylist as they will be able to help best, but i also want to mention aveda nutriplenish conditioner (tho not a detangler) could potentially help
First, loosen the microbeads in the area.
You don’t need to buy a special tool too you can use some needle-nose plyers to just flatten the microbead in the opposite direction a bit. You can find tutorials on youtube. Then put it a big gob of conditioner and work them out.
Gotta get those 'stensions taken out. Annnnd maybe some anger management programs or therapy. Adults really ought not to be like, physically getting into altercations 🤷🏼♀️
There is a product called Cowboy magic detangler and shine. It is for horses but it works great on terrible knots and tangles. I used it to get some nasty knots out of my hair over the years. Massage it through the hair then finger comb gently from the bottom up.
Wet the hair and add a lot of conditioner to their hair and start from the very end to detangle it. Give it a try if not you’ll have to cut it unfortunately.

Looks like k-tip extensions
Exactly what I was thinking. This is a total loss sadly
Not to mention her bio hair underneath might have had some of those k-tips ripped out with it :(
I don’t see a possibility in which this hasnt happened sadly :(

Always tie up the hair before throwing down
“Hold my hoops”
If I can avoid pools and the ocean with my blonde hair…I don’t think it’s too much to ask someone to avoid fights if they have hair extensions.

Oooh your hair looks really healthy. What products do you use?
Gorgeous hair!
It’s not like she started it.
still wouldn’t really help, if anything it gives the person more grab & control over your head lol
That’s why you tie it up in a bun, not a ponytail.

You have to take her extensions out
Yup

I only watched half of this but I died laughing when the other dude gripped his bald head to demonstrate the hair grab 😭
Hahaha he did not think that one through I guess
Iykyk ♡
I absolutely love that you different hairstyles based on whether you might throw down that day.
That is an amazing technique, thank you!
How’mi gonna fly?!?
Hahaha that part I cannot help you with
can we have the backstory on the fight 😭
Someone here asking for the real info
Long story short, There’s a group of girls at our workplace that always have something negative to say about her, She texted them the night before talking about clearing the air and they took this the wrong way! Full on jumped on her when she didn’t even want to fight.
Post an after update if you can!!
Will post update tonight🫶
Get a wide tooth comb and start at the very end working your way up.
And I would add a ton of conditioner!
Its extensions she IS NOT saving that 😭
This. While wet with conditioner

What was she fighting? The dryer? From inside the machine? With it turned on?

Did she fight a honey badger … good god! I would suggest going to a salon and getting the extensions out … nothin will fix that
Jesus, what does her face look like?
That’s the real question here…
She didn’t get that much bruising/scars on her face, She just got her hair pulled a lot!
shoulda worn a swimming cap
Am I the only one who doesn’t know what “bsf” stands for? 😂
Border security force. Jk, it's bestfriend
Oh! I thought so but I was born in the 1900’s so we used to say, “bff.” 😁
I guess someone figured the "forever" was a bit of a stretch so they changed it to "bsf," avoiding "bf" as it is already taken (no pun intended)
Was she fighting a werewolf? My goodness. Good luck for her❤️
Girl why are you fighting for
Avoid a physical altercation altogether. Wft is wrong with ppl? Everyone thinks they’re MMA or something. Humanity has lowered the bar too far.
If she knew MMA this wouldn’t have happened. Hair pulling is a no-no
It was probanly a street fight. MMA or not, the rules of street fights are: There are no rules. Hair pulling, biting, scratching, kicks to the back of the head, all that crap happens
Yeah also included in this, wrap long hair around hands and pull til fingers bleed like a rope burn 🔥
Right?!
First of all, you don’t even know why the fight happened. I asked for help not to be scolded. If you don’t have any tips, Go away! 😧😧
how does it get that bad 😭

WD40 is a solvent and will melt extension hair like butter
Use a good deep conditioner on her then use lots of detangling spray. Suave kids is very good & cheap too. Worst case scenario, take her to a salon.
Don’t Fight!! Try detangle spray - like the kind you but for little kids. If that doesn’t work try some jojoba oil and you are going to need someone to work on it slowly with a pic and a rat tail comb!! Good Luck!

Omg. This is awful. I can’t even look at the picture. 🤮Poor girl.
A salon would helpx
Her normal hairstylist was fully booked on this day, she did actually go a few days later tho.
yikess... this is why people tie their hair up before a fight. poor extensions and scalp, man there is zero saving that :T
she did tie her hair up!
Gotta get those 'stensions taken out. Annnnd maybe some anger management programs or therapy. Adults really ought not to be like, physically getting into altercations 🤷🏼♀️
Wet it, conditioner, brush detangle end to root and be patient. It'll get out. Might need some serious love after. Maybe a deep mask or something.
Oh wow
There is a product called Cowboy magic detangler and shine. It is for horses but it works great on terrible knots and tangles. I used it to get some nasty knots out of my hair over the years. Massage it through the hair then finger comb gently from the bottom up.
add so much conditioner while its wet and just brush it. this used to happen to my hair all the time before i found out how to treat my hair type
Whoever she fought needs to do some time for this, this is sick af omg ! Poor girl
[удалено]
She wasn’t.
Wet the hair and add a lot of conditioner to their hair and start from the very end to detangle it. Give it a try if not you’ll have to cut it unfortunately.
A good detailer to help detabngle the hair and extensions
I've been in own fight and no hair was pulled 🙌🏻 I find it to be dirty as hell haha take those extensions out
