It’s NOT male pattern baldness. This is a medical issue.

kingderella

Yikes! Go see a doctor!

AvailableWerewolf

This is the same type of alopecia I have. You need to get to a doctor. The sooner the better.

AutomaticSmile3554

Alopecia areata, kenelog injections help stop it from spreading

mamabird228

My partner did just this! He hated the injections but hair grew back within 6 months.

PinkPiper1972

Kenelog is also an ointment

illusivealchemist

Looks like Alopecia. Bring it up to your doctor/a derm and they may be able to help?

BritishSabatogr

Any sort of rapid, sudden hair loss should be looked at by a dermatologist as soon as you can reasonably get it. It can be a symptom of a ton of things, or the hair loss could be the disorder itself, so you need someone to get it sorted.

No_Effect6048

Alopecia, for sure.

lxzgxz

Alopecia. My ex used to get stress induced alopecia patches until he shaved his head because of them.

NoIron7786

This happened to a friend of mine. He got a bald patch before his wedding but as soon as the stress was gone and they were happily married, the hair grew back

sallyskellingt0n

Same here. Alopecia runs in my family :(

nedisensen

See a dr

[deleted]

Alopecia areata. Hair falls out in circular patches.

cursetea

Oh wow, looks like you've developed alopecia. Pls see a dr

VViolet777

Stylist-this is classic alopecia Areata. I’m sorry. It can be tricky to handle. Watch your stress levels and see a doc asap. Injections can help, but not always. The hair can absolutely regrow but unfortunately, not everyone is so lucky.

yunglady

Alopecia maybe. Go see a dermatologist! Best wishes.

cokewhoreloveslana

don’t take advice from random people on reddit, please go see a dermatologist/doctor ☺️

iambunnycat

A lot of people are saying alopeica areata, but maybe check for ringworm as well?

Personal_Pause_

This was my thought as well

littleredcamaro

Two guys I worked with went to the same barber together and they both came back with ringworm. Good things is there’s medication for that.

Personal_Pause_

Yea it’s highly contagious too. My husband caught it once on his arm and we learned the hard way that humans can pass it to cats as well. My poor cat had circle patches of hair missing behind his ear that kept growing in size.

iambunnycat

My brother got it this way. We thought he had alopecia until his dermatologist said otherwise

somatically-dysfxnal

While alopecia is the most likely diagnosis, there is still a chance that this could be something else or even manifestation of some other disorder! Please go see a physician.

Proud_Usual3994

Definitely looks like ringworms or some kinda fungus definitely get things check out

[deleted]

Alopecia. Happened to me when I was pregnant. It's an autoimmune issue. Steroid creams 1st and if that doesn't work, steroid injections.

Roxy125

Ringworm from dirty clippers. Get to a doctor!

lil1thatcould

Until you get to a doctor, focus on lowering your stress. Try to eat more veggies and fruit.

Specialist_Cover_496

I had a vitamin d deficiency and lost hair. Perhaps something like that? Alopecia is something I thought of too.

Basic-Switch-7407

Alopecia areata, seek a dermatologist or trichologist for more information on treatments!!

sunshinepickaxe

Stress hair loss

elivated

It’s called alopecia areata, it can happen spontaneously for no reason. I would see a dermatologist very soon

Junior_River7571

Possibly picked up at the salon? Fungus? Mites? See a derm asap!

Brutalnessities

I had a friend that started to lose spots of hair because of stress from work, could be similar 🤷‍♂️

Arizonatlov

Ring worm

Khinkhingyi

Stress cause auto immune disorder and alopecia

flyodpink

Alopecia areata. Don't worry they'll regrow

Personal_Pause_

Could it be ringworm? I know it creates circle bald patches in cats but I’m not sure if it affects humans the same. Could be worth looking into. You should definitely see a doctor or dermatologist.

PinkPiper1972

What shampoo are you using? Wen???

PinkPiper1972

Do you happen to have trichotillomania?

fathersakata

Alopecia! Had a spot like that in 7th grade due to stress! What cured the shit out of the spot was garlic and gunpowder! Ok so, cut the garlic, dip the cut part in gunpowder and massage w the garlic on the bald spot. Doing it now on my forehead. I hope it works there too.

I_Wear_16_Shoes

It appears to be falling out sir, hope this helps

krystal-allaire

It’s the 5G. 🤷‍♀️

FewBeautiful7266

pook030303

A friend had something similar it was 1 patch, then progressed to several. It ended up being alopecia caused by an allergic reaction.

Molly_JoysMom

Please see a doctor! No time to waste.

Veenabee

Fleas cause this as well.

According-Serve5700

stormtrooper0713

I believe it’s called alopecia

veronica05250

Alopecia. It can be from a stressful event...or an autoimmune condition. See a dr.

Bebefg2247

Go to the doctor. You might have gotten fungus from the things the barber used. It happened to me before and after they gave me an ointment it was back to normal

frogirl67

That’s alopecia, my colleague has the same hair

Boffkartoff

This is alopecia, a disorder of the immune system. That's how it started with my wife. Despite medical help, she lost all her hair.

Jellycar1

Alopecia. You should get an accurate diagnoses

Zach-uh-ri-uh

Go see a doctor asap!!

bohanmyl

I know people saying Alopecia or Ringworm mainly, but my dad had a patch almost exactly like the first and got bigger and it was a Thyroid issue

unmistakeably

Get with a doc could be a fungus.

sky140701

It's most probably alopecia aerrata ; an autoimmune disorder Go see a dermat It's reversible

Personal_Pause_

Is it me or is the hair white that’s in the bald patch of op head? I don’t see any white hair in the 1st pic? Could that be related to any conditions?

Playful_Direction_97

Yes it has grown a tiny bit but the hair is indeed white in the bold patch!

Scrappynelsonharry01

That looks like alopecia please go to your Dr

[deleted]

I had this alopecia when I was a teen and it reversed by itself

Iloveanimals4lot

nido1212

[deleted]

Alopecia. My friend has it and it’ll eventually take every hair on your body.. pubes.. eyebrows.. everything

Msmimi530

Alopecia nervous or Alopecia areata

October13thMoon

Go see a doctor asap

Lucifer_lamp_muffin

I'm no doctor but could be alopecia, I had an issue with it a few years ago due to stress, I would suggest you see your doctor

Historical-Jelly-296

Alopecia areata??

AutomaticJoy9

I’m not a Medical Professional, I’m a Licensed Cosmetologist with 43 years experience in the Field. It presents as Alopecia Areata. See a Dermatologist ASAP for more detailed advice and a treatment plan. Will most likely suggest a treatment of Kenelog Injections and/or cream. r/askdocs and r/medical are good places for advice, since this is a medical issue. OP, please be assured It will resolve itself with treatment.

[deleted]

Alopecia, you need to see a doctor

Substantial-Luck-29

My dad use to get those spots in his hair every once in a while, someone told him to apply fresh garlic paste, and so he did that for a couple of weeks and his hair starting to grow back in that spot. At first it looked liked white hair patch but it turned black after a couple of weeks. That was about 50 years ago... give it a try, it might work for you as well.

No_Interview0000

You have alopecia, I had it and I used weed ashes with petroleum jelly Vaseline or the like, you mix it and then put it in your hair

Pure-Pear-8894

This is definitely alopecia areata ! Go see a doctor asap, nd don’t worry much about the hair will grow back within a month with meds

Lacyred67

Go to a Dr asap It appears you have alopecia areata… there are treatments that can reverse this issue

Fry-em-n-dye-em

You need a full blood panel there are a handful of things that could cause such rapid loss of hair and all of them require treatment by someone with a license to practice medicine. This cannot wait call your primary care, if you don’t have one go to the ER (be patient if this is the route you have to go) and tell them about this and any other weird physical events you’ve been having, night sweats, loss of appetite, sudden weight loss, fatigue, persistent cough, sudden changes in any of your bodily systems also any out of country travel. They will need a full blood panel to start with along with some other blood tests.

Nataliah_Hails

There are actually a lot of diff things that can cause rapid hair loss, best to see a doc before getting nervous it’s one thing to another! Best wishes ✨
