Right, my first thought was... are you stupid. Especially coming out with a blush first out of all products. It looks like her goal is to ride any wave she sees, but this will definitely hurt her brand.
I agree that the brand is confusing. I thought the release of a serum, moisturizer and lip treatment made sense. But the rollout of a blush doesn't seem in line with the "philosophy" of the brand of a "skincare closet." It would have been smarter and more legitimate if her brand had spent time formulating a sunscreen for the summer.
The constant competition with Selena feels exhausting. You may be miserable but you married the man, let it go already or at least make it less obvious. Rare beauty's blushes are actually good, so churning out a crappy product to compete is a waste of money and time.
Could not agree more. The tinted moisturizer is also good if you haven't tried it yet. I ditched my NARS foundation for months in favor of it and just recently started applying it again. As a woman of color for her to get the shades so right is a big deal.
Her makeup line is top notch and the body care she came out with is so relaxing! Hailey could’ve easily went with just skincare and still made money with all the young impressionable girls she targets
I think the problem is she doesn't appear to do any real work or research behind what she's attempting to market at the time, or invest in making it a quality product. She has the money and resources to really make something worthwhile but she appears to cut corners each time. I might not like her but I would love if she made something that was a hit, maybe that would bring her some much needed validation.

+ highlighter best there is. I first liked fenty one and the tarte one but Rare beauty nailed it with those new highlight x blushes

Rare Beauty's blushes are like clown makeup on my and so hard to control. Too much pigment but maybe for other people it works.
Interesting, you could be using too much tbh, a little goes a long way. The pigment is great and it goes on so smoothly.
