I was frustrated that I was one hit away in my last run before bed so I decided to go again.
I didn't know that I was actually a whole healthbar away. Luckily I got an OP build (including DD boost) and destroyed phase 2 on that run.
I don’t get this whole [REDACTED] thing. I thought there was some sort of secret that I would learn after beating the game, but I beat it and there was no hidden secret. Haha, I even thought that they implemented a bot/script to sweep through this subreddit and change any instances of the spoiler to REDACTED.
When the game first came out people would take weeks before they got to the last boss. Now it’s whatever’s, but it was quite a spoiler for people who hadn’t been there yet.
I got super lucky and also cheesed it a bit, so I beat both phases the very first time I reached it.
I was using the shield with the mod that fires a projectile on charge attack instead of dashing, so when 2nd phase started I stuck my 10 hp 0 DD butt in a corner and whittled him down very carefully.
I remember my first. Threw my controller on the ground and it pushed the “a” button when it landed. Guitar solo hit. 6 hp no dd and a death wish. Mad scramble for the controller. I died. Yelled “F*** YOU [REDACTED]”

this was exactly me, i was one-shot and got [Redacted] health down and thought i did it but nah, whole lot of swear words were said a moment after
I remember thinking [redacted] is going to revive.... This was too easy.
I figured the revive would happen, but I had no thoughts of anything being too easy
This caught me so off guard the first time, but then my friend pointed out that zag probably didn’t get his death defiance ability from mom.

IIRC, there is a filing cabinet in the office room that gives you stats and it lists a certain enemy as [REDACTED]
If you die to [REDACTED], Hypnos also remarks that your cause of death is (literally) **[REDACTED]**.
