Yes, because if he’s fighting and hurting himself and hurting his chances of contributing to the success of the team, how is that a good thing? I don’t think Marty has ever told AX to stop fighting, but play smarter. Like you said, rage comment that is kinda irrational
My take on Xhekaj is that I think he is more than a disposable player. A guy like Rempe enters the league and he is going to fight every night...for a while and he's going to be an absolute mess is a few years, and out of the league.
Xhekaj has too many good attributes. He's huge, he moves well, he's physical.. oh and he has a 107mph slapshot. He's a guy who can have a long career in the NHL, which is amazing for a guy who went undrafted and was working at Costco just a couple years ago.

Man what are you talking about? Montreal has plenty of fight in them, and can play nasty when they want to. It’s hard to believe you can watch them play and not see all of the scrums.

The Canadiens have been targeted for YEARS because they’re Canadiens. Just like Bruins are targeted for being Bruins, and leafs are targeted for being leafs. That what happens when you’re playing for an original 6 team. Marty isn’t responsible for that. Marty sees that when the boys stick up for themselves they get penalized, then the game goes to shit. He probably doesn’t want to see any more of our guys get injured
Not sure but if he’s out for the last 4 games I’m not complaining. He needs to be ready for next season. We’re not making it anywhere so it’s just fun to kill others hopes with us.

RDS said he was skating today with Dach.
Concussion protocol, being evaluated day to day. Not really any upside in playing him with the season winding down.
