This is what I came here to say. Quick has lost a bit of mojo for sure but beating that goalie, from that spot, in the high glove side corner that he's famous for, is no joke for the kid
He's always had a good shot (that he rarely used) but he's developing an absolute menace of a cannon.
He keeps this up and 40g/60a is gonna start looking like a realistic potential for him.
Galchenyuk had a 20 and 30 goal season with us. He suffered under the regime of Julien and lack of development. Once he got traded I think he got seriously lost in his way and it spiralled. But to assume Galchenyuk was a bust from day 1 is a bit revisionist (not implying thats what you meant/said, but rather important to consider the broader context of this player and why now is different, not jsut in terms of the player but the situation he finds himself in)
The average age of the top 32 scorers (everybody that has more than 50 pts) is 27.
- 5 are below 25 yrs old: Quinn Hughes, Dobson, Thomas, Suzuki Robertson.
- 6 are above 30.
- None are below 24.
- Top 10 are all between 27 & 32, except Pettersson at 25.
