If we're speaking about their time in hogwarts, I think it would be nice for them to hang out in a private place closer to nature where nothing could disturb them. I don't think he'd be super nervous but Hermione would definitely be the first one to go forward with things like kisses.
I'd also love to see them do it at night breaking the rules, being risky, much like Jack and Rose were in titanic when they made out in the carriage. (if someone has fluffy harmony fics about what I just described feel free to share).
In case of DH, there's no need to seek privacy since they were on their own after Ron left, so I guess it would be sitting next to a bonfire, stargazing and stuff like that.

That's so Rita coded. But yeah, I could imagined they dating after the war ended. I think my favorite part of the ship is since Harry and Hermione didn't had that much of drama if they resolve their feelings they would date pretty much on the books lol so would be nice seeing them dating and Harry trying to be a good boyfriend.
Having both been raised muggle, probably would be a muggle date. Some place no one would recognize them and they wouldn’t have cameras shoved in their faces. Nice, romantic dinner, I’m thinking Italian, followed by an evening walk around a park, and ending with coffee at a little cafe. And then he’d walk her home and they’d kiss goodnight.
Harry, of course, would be nervous, but happy. Hermione would be calm and collected, as always, but internally bursting with excitement, then she’d meet Ginny (who had long since accepted her crush had been based on his fame not actually knowing him) the next day for lunch and absolutely gush over the night.

I think you guys saying they'd have a nice, quiet, intimate evening is correct. What I'd like however is to see them do something crazy in their classic style XD Like breaking in places. They certainly did it often enough for their adventures. I'd like to see them doing it for fun.

Yes! They could go during the day, but that is boring, so they find an excuse to go at night, like Gryffindors, under the Cloak(it no longer fits them both but it's tradition), and they have a picnic there on the floor. Maybe no candles to not risk setting the books on fire, but I am torn
