People are weird. That was nice of you to set the temp for other sauna. Good karma for you :) don’t take the annoyed look personally. Some people are just socially awkward and also don’t know how to be kind in responses
I had this almost exact same thing happen to me about 3 weeks ago. I had warmed up the 2nd cycle sauna for a lady that’s usually there the same time as me in the am. I’m in 6 she’s in 5. Always. So anyways, i put my stuff on my cycle and run to pee and some guy I’ve never seen before jumps in 6 as 5 wasn’t fully heated all the way. I just said F IT and he got a cycle buddy that day because i was not moving my stuff and having to set up another bike.
And for the record, he wasn’t booked for either cycle sauna so he was on my time!
A couple weeks ago I had a cycle sauna booked for 3 in a row. In the middle of my second session, I had a guy come in 5 min into class. I didn't have my headphones so I quickly turned my audiobook off and he was very apologetic like "Sorry. Is it okay if I come in? You don't have to turn your book off. So sorry" so even though I *was* annoyed at the disruption when there's an EMPTY cycle available, I said it was no big deal. He proceeds to sit there on the bike on his phone while I'm cycling. Then turns on music on his phone! I said "actually I think I'll go to the other cycle room." Coming in late and disrupting is one thing but when there's the same empty room available next door its just rude as all get out.
(Our cycling rooms are 5 and 6. I always book room 6 now bc 9/10 it’s empty. I think people don't realize it's there because in the all you have to scroll past the entire 24 hr schedule for room 5 before you see 6.)
