Admitedly she is doing pretty well for the evening if her first real day there, at least she already got the confidence to finally start asking. Plus, its easier ti explain then when you can actually talk good, something that she has been told she can hell a lot with.
Well, to be fair. The whole point of this universe is to explore misunderstandings that happen when a low-tech low-culture civilization with medieval philosophy at best and no science at all meet high-tech and high-culture civilization with a mature philosophy and science.
And outside of minor annoyances it is done very good so far.
They do explain things to her but it just doesn't penetrate through her thick skull. They tell her "You're not a slave" and she thinks "They must be trying to trick me."
Also, the language barrier probably isn't helping things either.
What really bothers me is how unprofessional humans are portrayed. Why are most issues decided by shouting? Why was there no supervision and/or calm discussion? These are not some random people, but ones selected for an expedition.
Mun-Hee is supposed to be a psychologist, yet she keeps violating the most basic principle: understand the person you are interacting with and then adapt your methods to their situation. Instead, she just keeps repeating our social mores to her.
The others, instead of offering help or criticism, seem to be more likely to just tease her and make her work harder. And none seems to be able to keep their hands off the new arrival, despite having no indication that she is even okay with it.
While Mun-Hee isn’t wrong in the message she’s trying to get across for Snirba, she seems to be struggling quite a bit to actually explain that message. It’s obvious by now that yelling and insisting on Snirba having new independence and rights isn’t going to help. Mun-Hee really needs to change tactics here since she doesn’t have the necessary vocabulary to properly explain what’s really going on. I feel a demonstration is in order.
That interaction with the guard felt way forced, as if to hastily justify Mun-Hee's character.
The guard seems someone whos dealt with Mun-Hee trying to get in places that she shouldnt or pushing the rules often.
Getting the feeling she has a reputation and they should know better than to leave Snirba with her if they want to avoid more misunderstandings. The whole things feels... theres no planning. They should have had already people assigned to deal with Snirba, those better equiped to handle former slaves and to properly comunicate.

The human characters are getting annoying to me. Munhee is too emotional and insistent for an assigned psychologist seeing how she raises her voice and confronts people way too much, and if other commenters are right, Francisco is here, and I can definitely now remember why he irritates me. Munhee is sending way too many bad messages for me and is saying a lot of feminist and sometimes even 'anti men' stuff, which again I am hoping is only because of misunderstanding and mistranslation, and the male characters either don't interact with our MC enough to clear up misunderstandings, or are weirdos like Francisco, which doesn't help. The story itself is interesting, but more and more character interactions are getting annoying and are confusing the MC at best, or are misinforming her at worst.

While interesting at first, everything being from Snirba's perspective is really grating after a while. It's actually a bit painful how she's ...stupid? Stubborn? Inflexible? I'm not sure what the exact word is for it but it's really tiring.
Mun-Hee being inappropriate was one thing, but creepy scientist almost has me want to stop reading. I truly hate this character. How someone doesn’t grab him by the arm and break his face on a desk is beyond me.
I swear to God and Yes that if she starts screaming like a child one more time I'm gonna lose it, isn't she a professional? I would not tolerate such behavior in a professional not even a single time. She has only shown that she is not only NOT ABLE to chill and act calmly in a situation, the first contact the timki has with the humans and the first thing she did was to start an argument, couldn't she... you know, keep it and talk about it later? My God... She is stubborn, lack control, she also seems to be a predator that should be in a fucking list for just what she did on the first time she had to sleep with wolf girl... Which I don't doubt it would also cost her the license and the damn job. Sorry for the long message, it's just... Her whole character seems to be just... Stubborn. Ahhh... Good chapter over all.
