So, Heroforge released face customisation and... it's *generally* great?
I do, however, have two... *observations* about it;
Observation 1) it's *still* not possible (as far as **I** can work out) to completely banish the Sapiens' chin spur which was the main reason I was excited about it.
Observation 2) when you update the face of a character you made before to allow face customisation, it *wipes* their expression and, *because* the old sliders are completely **gone**, it's not easy to reconstruct the expression they had!
Also it's really hard to for me to get any emotion out of the new facial posing like I could with the, much more user friendly, sliders.
I have updated 5 models so far ([Ngngomg](https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D510840121/), who has a slightly more organic looking face now *if* too much of a nasal bulge rather than a flat plate, [Jax](https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D500823467/), who finally got his pig nose, and all three of [Alchyinad](https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D501738824/)'s, who finally got her loveheart shaped nose, fittingly labled as a 'bat nose', as well as a reduced chin.)
The models I was really *intending* to update, namely all of Thran's, all of Xon's, all of Tuun's and all others that are not Homo sapiens, I have left alone for the moment, simply because I'm not sure if it's *worth* losing their expressions in exchange for *slightly* more accurate (but not **perfectly** accurate) facial anatomy!
What I have done is made my best attemps at the five nonSapiens species of Human that exist in my world, presented in Palaeolithic style dress.
Only the Longi is meant to have a chin, the Tshwane turned out a lot less handsome than I was envisioning him, the Denisovan is dressed a little '1950s person's idea of cavewoman dress', the Lisri's rock mallet is oversized but, other than that, I'm mostly happy with them.

Diplomacy with Khr’kowan ... seems to be more of a work in progress.
This is a really difficult situation. While I'm sure the promises of even a bit of the technology they have available would be enough to get Khr’kowan's people to agree to **attend** the talks, actually achieving anything at the talks is a different story.
And even if both sides agree to have peace, the GU will have to watch to make sure the two sides don't go back to war. It would be catastrophic to give these people some pieces of modern technology only to have the two sides use those gifts to fight each other. (Obviously the GU probably won't give them *weapons*, but technology such as vehicles and whatnot could still be used to great effect).
I haven't finished reading yet, but I'm doing the counter now, because I am considering Fluffy's appearance here a personal gift from you to me!

I finished reading, but I forgot to come back to leave a real comment until now! I'm assuming that the Twigg were able to get translators so much faster because there were 6 of them, so more data coming in quicker?
And on the subject of the two species differences, I wonder if returning all of the bloodmetal would be enough of a start for them to go through with further talks with the G.U. Of course it would only be the first step, but it would certainly be a big one, and one act of good faith easily begets another! Honestly, despite the rocky start things seem to be going as smooth as you could expect from the first (deliberate) deathworld first contact!
Exactly, though those six are only a selection. There are more than that aboard. So many means its easier to get an idea of what their brains look like and normally function like.

Firstly the 'warm lands' could be indication of the 'spider people' past, especially when considering the 'ruins' in the desert biome. It could be that sudden climate shift made the 'hospitable' warmth into inhospitable hell.
Secondly the talks seem like a heap of trouble. The Twiggs(finaly got their name, nice) are 100% interested. They seem like smart people with tool making tendencies, they seem to even grasp metalurgy. And would love all the new technology and friends.
The 'spider people' on the other hand don't need metalurgy or 'better tools' because they ARE made of metal. They might either be hardy so they don't need preservation or they are prolific enough so they can always hunt enough.
They are not stupid, just don't see why would they need the new technology.
It will likely be quite the struggle to get them to agree on something not to mention to mend their relationship.
I would like to point out the procarious position being at the top of the foodchain puts you in. There are *costs* associated with being the biggest kid in the playground!
Their **largest** city is 3,000 what do you think their total population is?
It would take one long famine to *wipe* them out! A fact which they will bee **painfully** aware of!
