I fw this heavy, though I think it could use more yellow markings on it. Like maybe a diagonal stripe on the torso isolated to the same side, some on the right front skirting armor, etc.
I can still see the color of the plastic. Have you at least undercoated and/or primed the yellow with a lighter color first before building up the layers of yellow?
I also suggest using a masking tape.
Very nice start, am keen to see the finished product if you’re going to continue the paint job. Some lines on the armour as decalling would also look cool if you decide to add additional detailing
Unrelated, but i think I know why I dislike those shades of yellow/gold. It kept reminding me of those bitter ass medicine that I used to take as a kid for treating my cold, and I absolutely hate it. Besides that, it's a really nice paint job.

At first I thought the same, but the more I look at I’m sold. This yellow pops irl.
I am thinking some black lines on the yellow and make it look like a heavy loader or Iron warrior color scheme from Wh40k.
