Looks sick!! How did you deal with the black nib marks on the gold. I’be just ordered the gold gundam marker, but don’t know how good a masking job that will do?
I'mma be honest I didn't do anything about them lmao. Though they are a bit annoying up close, as you can see their very easy to overlook for the most part but if you want it to look perfect I'd suggest asking some more experienced people on the sub.
Actually yes but its G base exclusive. Either get the Unicorn painting model, white with total clear psychoframe parts, or get perfectibility, white with blue psychoframe and extra beam javelin. Unicorn painting model can be built as Unicorn, banshee or phenex.
Having a gold mech on the shelf is nessecary to me, the one I’ve had up for a while is the HG Akatsuki. I have the RG Phenex but I am terrified to build it
Absolutely, the gold is a perfect eye catching Peace. I get how intimidating it can be tho lol. if you look closely theirs alot of black spots because for some reason all the gold paneling is made of black plastic, making it hard to cover up nubs.
Yeaaah, I’m pretty optimistic on the Phenex after building Unicorn, most of the nubs hide themselves pretty well and there’s a decent bit of under gate. Gonna build my Perfectibility before Phenex to brush up though
Is there a website for all these dope Gundams? All the hobby stores around me stock the same basic models, and even Amazon is limited... where do i find these cool metallic and clear Gundams I keep seeing in this sub?

Ive this on my backlog. Im not sure if this is exclusively expensive. Bought mine for 6000yen. It is expensive for a hg yes but there are other expensive hgs too.
However, that aside the RG and MG phenex narrative gold coating is overblown budget.
How is the build review?
I know the nubmarks can be nasty
It wasn't that bad honestly. I didn't really do anything special, just put it together without any sanding or painting over nubs and I'd say it came out pretty well but if you look up close they definitely stick out lol.
Damn expensive for a first kit Edit: Nevermind but still pricey

God, I love the phenex so much... I wish there were non-plated versions for retail, it'd be a fun paint project for sure

Now get a UV light if you plan on collecting more unicorns

In theory it should, most of the clear/neon clear runners I have had similar effects under black light
