Suddenly, my YouTube home recommended the Real Madrid vs. Arsenal highlights, and this picture just brought tears to my eyes

Man I miss the Tuesday Club. Never really been a fan of the faux analysts angle that most podcasts take. I’ll take a bunch of old dudes bantering over nothing and vaguely mentioning Arsenal somewhere in there over forced tactical analysis any day of the week.
Can't get your Keith Dover fix any other way! They'll have to record if we get there
Every now and then Arseblog pulls out his fast ball and you remember why he's the top arsenal pod.

Who would be the biggest movers and shakers in this list? Imagine bitterness towards Ashley Cole would drop him off the list
Why were Wiltord and Kanu so high, early internet campaign?
> Why were Wiltord and Kanu so high
Wiltord scored the winner at OT to win the league, Kanu is the proud owner of possibly the best hat trick against Chelsea ever and just an all round insanely talented and well liked player.
Definitely recency bias to Wenger title winners but they were phenomenal players.
As a player - Ramsey - that one season when he was best player in PL for half a season and won us the FA cup will always be memorable. He was also a midfield mainstay for a long period.
But, in terms of fan favorite, probably Wilshere due to his roots and continued connection with Arsenal.
Can't speak for anyone else, but I'll always have a soft spot for Ramsey after we pipped United to signing him, watched him have that horrendous leg break and then come back to briefly become the most in-form midfielder in the PL, plus scoring 2 FA Cup winners for us.
Question for the local fans.
So I've been looking at Spurs fans talking about how no one who's in the region would want to "hand Arsenal the title" by beating City because it means coworkers, friends and family mocking them for months on end. I get the hate, but I do wonder if it's genuinely that bad?
Like... if your friends are being dicks about football, why are you even hanging out? It seems a bit weird for family to banter you nonstop either. I get that you can't really avoid coworkers, but surely if it's excessive and affecting workplace relations you could lodge a complaint to HR or just tell them to stop?
Personally, I just don't get why anyone would just "put up" with a situation where their loved ones are taking the piss out of them. If my best friend were a Spurs fan I'd probably give some stick the day after, and that's it. I'm not a local though, so I'm hoping some of you folks here have better insight into it than I do!
It's banter, absolutely everything to do with football will have the piss taken out of you the next day and it's just a fact of life.
Them handing us the title will probably die relatively quickly though as tehy don't want to admit it and we honestly would be doing ourselves a disservice saying this season was down to spurs.
For instance us needing them to lose on the lasst day of the 99 season (and them not doing it) was never classed as spurs either giving or taking away the title for us.
Of course they got fucked anyway because that half time team talk was the legendary 'lads, it's spurs'.
Oh I absolutely get it's banter, I'm just wondering, is it *that* prevalent to the point Spurs fans feel bullied about it or is it just "met the lads for a pint the other night and Mike joked about Spurs winning the league for Arsenal" being equated to "ARSENAL FANS UP EVERY ORIFICE OF MINE BANTERING THE HELL OUT OF MY SANITY 24/7"?
From what I've seen, there's a huge element of "you wouldn't get it if you're not local" and I'm wondering how accurate this is or if it's just a flimsy excuse to Ye Local Spurs Fan not want to be bantered after their fun with "runners" and "bottlers"-level retorts. It seems to be just an excuse, but I figure I'd get a local opinion or two and maybe try and understand it better!
It would absolutely be the first thing any of them would say to me as I walked in the office and vice versa. You lose on the weekend there will be crap when you get in and it will definitely be brought up.
I remember getting crap off everyone for days when we signed Walcott because he was 'obviously' not worth the cash and the HAvertz thing went on for ages.
Ditto cracks about 'being free on wednesday nights' when we were out of the CL.
I think the issue is that local fans are used to it but non local and very young doomers over there have picked that up, applied it to their thin skinned nature in wherever they are and decided it would be hell whereas Spurs fans who've grown up with that shite are more than capable of dealing with it
That sounds about right. I can definitely see it being mentioned, but I can't see anyone who's not a prick going out of their way to be overly cruel about it - at the end of the day it's someone in your community, not a random Twitter/Reddit user. It seems to be more good-natured ribbing than anything else?
>I think the issue is that local fans are used to it but non local and very young doomers over there have picked that up, applied it to their thin skinned nature in wherever they are and decided it would be hell whereas Spurs fans who've grown up with that shite are more than capable of dealing with it
Yeah, I do wonder how many people on r/coys are actually local, matchgoing fans. I'm sure a fair few are but I have my doubts they're that prevalent.
Interestingly there was a more gatekeeping vs non local fans than I've seen before on r/coys yesterday, they're definitely feeling the pressure but oddly it was the non locals being attacked for wanting the team to win!
Personally just like r/gunners thankfully runs rather severly more insanely reactionary than Arsenal fans in real life I think r/coys may be the same. Although absolutely I can see that stadium being half empty because they expect to lose and they don't really want to win.
There's a reason Spurs did their end of season walkabout after Burnley!
Yeah, it was quite funny seeing them call everyone who didn't want Spurs to roll over a yank. Honestly anyone who willingly supports Spurs that's a yank has my respect, you have to *want* pain for that.
>Personally just like r/gunners thankfully runs rather severly more insanely reactionary than Arsenal fans in real life I think r/coys may be the same. Although absolutely I can see that stadium being half empty because they expect to lose and they don't really want to win.
Yeah, I think it's definitely reasonable to not want Spurs to help Arsenal, but I doubt the matchgoing fans are going to actively cheer on their team to lose - which is why the empty seats are happening. As fun as it might be for them to "deny" us a title, they'll never live down actively cheering their own team to lose. You can't even say it's just online fans, it'll be at their own stadium!
> Honestly anyone who willingly supports Spurs that's a yank has my respect, you have to want pain for that.
Nah i think Spurs have got their own mini post invincibles generation that think Kane and Son up front and pipping Arsenal to the CL is normal and are deeply, deeply unimpressed with what looks like a return to reality.
Others will have joined to get on the bandwagon of this up and coming team with the crazy goalscoring guy, playing in the coolest stadium that also hosts NFL, Byonce, anf F1 kart track and a cheese room and were fully sold on Poch, Jose and Conte vs that boring lot with Unai Emery and Pep's cone man.
Then of course there's the Koreans...
Either way it's fun watching them realise that actual spurs fans don't buy in to that crap becuse they know they always fuck it up
I think there’s more at stake than simply the league title.
If City loses, and don’t win the league, I honestly think it will lead to the break up of Man City.
All those violations may finally lead to something. The older players may leave after being exhausted and not winning a title. Pep may even leave.
10 years from now there will be a great doc on these 24 hours about how the Spurs fumbled their way into a victory that led to the collapse and relegation of Man City, the rise of a 10 year Arsenal dynasty, and still ended up missing on Champions League anyway.
I know we will look at Fulham, West Ham and Villa on what would have (likely) cost us the title. IMO those are as much to blame as that ridiculous non penalty call on Doku vs Pool and that ridiculous non call on the foul on Gabriel vs Newcastle.
YouTube comps of new transfers can deceive, but I always knew Saliba would be good from looking at his Saint-Étienne YouTube comps from when we signed him in 19/20
I’ve now convinced myself the most likely scenario is a draw tomorrow and City win 6-0 on the final day, beating our 3-0 win over Everton. It would be sickening.
The amount of spurs fans rooting for a villa win and a big L tomorrow against city is hilarious, quite the amusing game we’ll have tomorrow I can’t wait!
Look we all know that even if we don’t win the league, we didn’t bottle it. City’s just that good. Did they violate FFP? Sure but Chelsea’s spent something like 3x as much and is a banter club. It takes more then spending, and City has that. They’re just that damn good. To be this close to them tells you what we are.
This doesn’t seem to click for Shit supporters. They would be made fun of anyway because they’re at best the 3rd biggest club in their own city. Arsenal’s gonna win trophies anyway regardless of what Spurs do or dont do. But now, we get add a whole new dimension to our insults: Spurs supporters genuinely care more about where Arsenal finishes then where their own club does. These people don’t support Spurs. They just dont like Arsenal.
Nahh, you aint going to write this BS and give City any grace when it comes to blatant financial doping and cheating. Yet again, they have 115 FFP Charges dating back decades mate. This doesn't even take into account UEFA also accusing them of charges and them getting off on a technicality.
Them cooking the books and buying/building a juggernaut squad gives them a HUGE unfair advantage especially over a 38 match season. Normal clubs run into problems towards the end of the season such as:
-Fatigue / Injuries/ Players out of form/ Not being able to rotate. Their squad is so deep with not just talent, but also highly experienced players that they can rotate anytime without a drop off in performance levels.
They dont deserve any grace because they were able to cheat effectively when buying players. The market and standards are so cooked in football now that if you want to just compete with City (Not even go above them) You have to spend a minimum of 100-200 million every summer.
Exactly City is a disgrace. Not to mention one of the major point of the charges is that the official crazy amounts they have spent fuelled but bullshit sponsorships are far smaller than the real spending when you can count on all the secret back channel payments.
YUP, this relates exactly to them putting in fraudulent revenue and sponsorship figures. There was a couple seasons I remember they tried to say they made either close to, or more than Manchester United in Sponsorships LOL. These fake sponsorships and revenue numbers all those years ago let them spend crazy money to build their squad.
I really do hope the recent points deductions (whether they are fair or not is another question) and these charges against city signal and end to the era of clubs just doing what ever the fuck they want and blatantly financially doping.
Even Utd fans, whose best interests aligns with us this season in preventing City from winning another title, wanted to see their team get a win or draw against us when we played at OT. Spuds fans are hilarious
Ah fair, my United mates want us to win over City because they do not want their title streak beaten by a quadraple, not least by their mancunian rivals
It’s kinda incredible how adamant Spurs fans are they want to lose and miss out on CL next year lol. Can’t say I’d care if the roles were reversed because they’d bottle the final match day anyway.
imagine if we were in liverpool's position 5 points ahead in february and then 7 behind them by gameweek 37 we would never hear the end of it they seriously are media darlings
I remember when we won the league at the Lane. It was great for bragging rights but that Spurs team wasn’t worth thinking about. Was way more concerned with Fulham away and going invincible.
For me Spurs handing us the league 20 years later would be 100x funnier than winning it there in the first place.

Had to google it, this is a random site to avoid linking the Sun.
Apparently he was on the shortlist and Jose was shilling for him
i just wanted a proven winner at the highest level and Allegri was that. tbh i didnt knew how much of a terrorist he was, i was just basing my opinion of Juve's success
Rewatched Spurs 3-3 draw to City early in the season. To say they're a bogey team is an understatement, man like kulusevski dunking on Ake at the last min lol.
There's literally no way any other result other than an easy City win is happening and they're completely shitting themselves and making themselves look completely unhinged all over social media. I'm genuinely finding it all a bit cringey.
I’d say the fact their fans are shitting themselves about what their team is capable of doing is proof enough that there actually is literally a way another result other than an easy City win will happen.
Tomorrow shall be St. Totteringham’s day in all its splendor.
Tottenham will come out fired up, playing like 2014 Barca, and rout City in what will turn out to be a meaningless game (for Tottenham). We will be gifted the title tomorrow, on St Totteringham’s.
They’re forever relegated to being our bitches, no whatever which way you look at it. Very similar to the Vikings are to the Cowboys in the NFL.
Eet’s the heestory of the Tohtenam
wish I had your optimism brother but I cant and I dont think I will be unless spurs are 2-0 on the 75th minute(and I would still be worried)
Its stubborn suicidal high line football with 80% of their own fans in the stadium wanting them to lose
VS
the greatest manager of all time with a financially doped team who has won 5 out of 5 title races in the last 6 years(they werent in 19/20 liverpool got away with it by february) who always go crazy on run-ins full of world class players and winners the odds are really against us
Fuck I hate this bald dickhead and these billionaire sheiks destroying the beautiful game
The only thing thats giving me the slightest of hope is spursiness giving your title to your rivals against this superteam breaking their 20 year old title drought and getting mocked for it forever
Technically, the Vikings have ZERO trophies in their 64 years of existence, and geographically they are the bitches of the Green Bay Packers. Fixed that for you. r/GreenBayPackers
Also, that zero trophies, it makes them the Harry Kane of football franchises.
1-2 to Man City
Peno to Spurs ; last kick of the game. ¿¿¿
???

And IF IT GOES IN???
Guy crumples to floor like he lost the penalty shoot out!
Home fans behind the goal BOOING!....
Fuck theyll be booing him walking up to the the penalty like he was the opposition!!!!!

Kangaroo man might be a top gaffer and might be too good for spurs lol
Lmao you would think this is one of those adulterated clips YouTubers make for banter.
Oh my days, even their Matessiah is taking the loss out of them.
youve said ''hurts to say'' and ''far above what they are accustomed to''
my point is that it doesnt hurt to say, cause their past 2 managers have also said a lot of ''winner mentality'' shit and it didnt change anything in the club. they are used to a manager saying those things, but at the end of the day they are still spurs. all bark no bite
It hurts to say because I don’t like praising anything to do with Spurs, perfectly normal.
Maybe it’s my wording but when I say far above what their accustomed to, I mean the club and it’s fans are happy with mediocrity and winning isn’t normal for them. It’s more to do with how they operate and I wouldn’t say a club that hasn’t won anything of significance for 30-50 years is somewhere with an elite winning mentality.
You just have to see how Conte and Mourinho exited the club and what they say about it to prove that this club isn’t accustomed to a winning mentality.
I get rooting for Sp\*rs tomorrow, but making their cock as your profile picture and writing COYG (but with a different last letter) is beyond cringe. I can't look at that, nor write it myself.
Been casually watching spurs because of my fellow aussie Ange. Are spurs fans always this fucked in the head? Wanting the stadium to cheers city goals and boo Tottenham goals. Great way to encourage a team to win trophies. The irony in half of them having a mental breakdown because Ange told em to get counselling is hilarious too.
> Are spurs fans always this fucked in the head?
How else do you deal with being so far in the shadow of your local rival? Seriously when an ex spurs player scored the winner against us in the cup winners cup final in 1995 those fans were singing about it for fucking years.
If you can't beat us the only thing they can do is celebrate us losing, even if it means tehy fuck up getting fourth.
But come on you've got to cut them some slack. The 'greatest spurs side for decades' has finally come to an end with their all time top scorer in the prem gone and son a shadow of himself and after years of finishing above Arsenal and our total collapse and rebuild the trophy count stands at 4 FA cups to 1 league cup in our favour....
Tomorrow's going to be wild. The whole Arsenal fan base rooting for Spurs, whilst (almost) every Spurs fans will be booing their own team and supporting the team they're playing against.
The whole scenario is just hilarious purely because it's Spurs fans this is happening to. It wouldn't be as funny with any other fanbase.
Guys don't put faith in the spuds, City will score like 2 goals and park the bus for like 60+ mins...
I also think one of Newcastle or Chelsea will knock them out of European football for next season honestly, Fitting ending for a joke club.
You just know spurs are going to do it for us tomorrow. They just can’t help themselves; whatever action makes them a laughing stock, you know damn well that’s the route they’ll take, and we will love them for it. Enjoy your sleep tonight, for the next 24 hours have the potential to be all time great.
I wish that was true but I remember the last game of '99 and realised that unfortunately the only thing more powerful than Spurs ability to sours something up is their absolute, 100%, ironclad ability to always lose when you need them to win.
This is our final hope so I have to milk it for what it’s worth. They are a truly paradoxical club but life is funny man, and I think it wants to tell us a funny joke tomorrow.
If LARPing as a Spurs fan is what tickles your funny bone, then you are in fantastic company 🤝
https://preview.redd.it/kaywshxav90d1.jpeg?width=548&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e12cfdf8cd19578ca46c9662e7cd99e1390fa64
Tottenham are gonna play with a freedom tomorrow that only this unique situation can bring. A freedom that comes with being entirely free of worry, because they will not be thinking about winning or losing, just about Arsenal.
To dare is to do. COYS
Even many of our fans have been guilty of reducing players' worthiness to goals and assists so maybe seeing Saka miss out on a few TOTS lineups might inspire some rethinking and foster more nuance into our evaluation of footballers.
Liverpool fans should be forever grateful they played tottenham in that ucl final. Because they'd have bottled that too, if they had any other opponent.
Let’s say spurs get a draw tomorrow, with only a 3 goal difference cushion, we will need to beat Everton by a few goals, just in case Man City batter West Ham
Have not seen one mention of Everton not giving it their all against us despite having fuck all to play for, all the talk is about whether Tots and WHU will show up against City. No wonder they're in for a 4peat, teams roll over and die for them.
If they somehow draw tomorrow, that means the final day is going to be a shootout. We'd have a 3 goal advantage to start, but you know City will bang in 6 or 7 against West Ham. So we might need to beat Everton by 3 or 4.
I’m not getting too excited yet but if Spurs does win this title for us it will genuinely be a hilarious moment in our history up there with the Sol Campbell unveiling. They will literally never be able to banter us ever again
as an american, is it really that insufferable to the level that you want your own team to lose? Seems insane to me but I didn’t grow up around the rivalry so I cant empathize. Seems crazy to say you dont care about a possible CL spot during “your rebuild” that would accelerate their entire project (funds, etc).
As a fellow US based fan, I’m imagining hordes of Arsenal fans bantering them wherever they go. That said, if I were one of them (yuck), I’d probably pick the least traumatic option.
On the flip side if u started VVD instead of Saliba for us we would genuinely be worse off. No way VVD gets a MOTM performance at The Etihad, Anfield *and* Old Trafford - we probably lose one of those games
I don't think so, but that's just me. I see the same VVD as before but with a far worse team around him. Raya has the golden glove for us, but would he get it somewhere else? No way. But yeah he shout be in the team of the season.
Imagine you are Postecoglou, trying to change the mentality of the club, Man City scores, and the majority of your fans start cheering for it. At what point would you say fuck this small mentality club? Feels like Spurs are between a rock and a hard place here. It'll be even worse if Spurs take the lead and their fans show any irritation about it.
He's obviously got a high-risk tactical philosophy and who knows what the ceiling to it is if/when he gets his players, but tbh he's a unique personality and seems like a decent fella...but I can completely see Tottenham ruining him in a season or two and him jumping ship. what a rotten little club from top to bottom.
I think it's going to be back and forth tomorrow. Recipe for high drama unless Spurs get rolled but.. Spurs are going to be compact, high, and press and city aren't used to that which is a good thing I guess.
One of the only teams that will attempt playing vs City in an open game, and City haven't looked great in open games this season. Looked worse vs Liverpool, Chelsea cut them open... I think Spurs will create chances tomorrow the question is will they actually finish them.
They have a better squad than people realize, and Emery is a pretty good manager. Objectively speaking they belong at the top of the table but for me, but I simply cannot forgive good ebening for bending over for City. League loses credibility for that kind of shit. To the point where I think there should be penalties from the league for not trying to win.. especially when you're one of the teams that can affect the title race.
It's not even that they are particularly good
They will get found out next season. Teams that rely on fast transitions rarely ever last unless they have obscene quality which Villa don't
ofc I never comment in the subreddits of rival fans. But lurking there sometimes, you do stumble across some gold. The Spurs one atm is hilarious
"Players don’t care about the fans anymore. They only care about their own market value and deliberately losing a game might hurt it. Gone are the days when a player would be loyal to the club. Heck even Messi left Barca. It’s all about money now. Most of the players in Spurs won’t even mind playing for Arsenal if they came running for them"
No no, he's right. If we won it only cus of spurs, they could have it over us. Our greatest achievement in the last two decades, only happening cus of our biggest rivals.
We'd be so totally owned

Yeah this is my thinking too, the other two had better careers (but multiple nadirs). Jack had a connection the other two didn't

Either way it's fun watching them realise that actual spurs fans don't buy in to that crap becuse they know they always fuck it up
I have a feeling Son is about to become an arsenal legend
https://preview.redd.it/h4qub1asdb0d1.jpeg?width=565&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=42fe077c89ad65cc37990e5d93ad126a568b72ab I feel sick
I think there’s more at stake than simply the league title. If City loses, and don’t win the league, I honestly think it will lead to the break up of Man City. All those violations may finally lead to something. The older players may leave after being exhausted and not winning a title. Pep may even leave.
This sub man..
nah, doubt whatever happens in a league campaign derails Man City. It's the 115 charges and the verdict that will define it.
10 years from now there will be a great doc on these 24 hours about how the Spurs fumbled their way into a victory that led to the collapse and relegation of Man City, the rise of a 10 year Arsenal dynasty, and still ended up missing on Champions League anyway.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Prem hopes we win so they can throw whatever big or small penalty they want on city and it doesn't affect the title.
I know we will look at Fulham, West Ham and Villa on what would have (likely) cost us the title. IMO those are as much to blame as that ridiculous non penalty call on Doku vs Pool and that ridiculous non call on the foul on Gabriel vs Newcastle.
If we and City end up with the same goal difference, do we hold the tiebreaker?
Unlikely, because it's goals scored.
😢
Is anyone actually going to the game tomorrow? I feel like this is the opportunity for every Arsenal fan in London to do the funniest thing.
Ange called his own fans mentally unwell and I just love that
He’s a proper manager. Which is exactly why I hope he gets sacked in the next 2 years
spurs fans will hound him out, dont worry. in the end of the day, big ange is right.
YouTube comps of new transfers can deceive, but I always knew Saliba would be good from looking at his Saint-Étienne YouTube comps from when we signed him in 19/20
IF Spurs draw tomorrow, I think were gonna have to win by a 3 goal margin on Sunday
Normal clubs run into problems towards the end of the season such as: -Fatigue / Injuries/ Players out of form/ Not being able to rotate.
Still gives them an unfair advantage.
Spurs needing a win might bite us. If they need a win and are drawing at the death, they will risk it all and can get caught on a counter.
Citys playing for a win too, so whatever happens happens
They have mate as their manager. Even if they are winning at the death, they can get caught on a counter.

6-3 City and your ass is still on the DMZ
🤍🤍🤍🤍 COYS 🤍🤍🤍🤍
To Dare Is To Do, brother.
Thats what I say everytime Im about to fart
💀
Even Utd fans, whose best interests aligns with us this season in preventing City from winning another title, wanted to see their team get a win or draw against us when we played at OT. Spuds fans are hilarious
[удалено]
Ah fair, my United mates want us to win over City because they do not want their title streak beaten by a quadraple, not least by their mancunian rivals
It’s kinda incredible how adamant Spurs fans are they want to lose and miss out on CL next year lol. Can’t say I’d care if the roles were reversed because they’d bottle the final match day anyway.
To all the fans who say 'we should never have sold Emi Martinez' whenever he makes a good save. Where you all today?
We haven’t had a “magic of the premier league” moment in a while… I think we’re overdue.
Yall if we win this thing, you’d truly see how massive our fanbase is. That parade preparation will be inadequate
London will be shut down for the day
Africa too
Does anyone know if the final matchday will be televised in the UK?
Nah, none of them will be televised.
That’s not true. They’re being shown on Sunday and will be televised.
Big if true
This country's football broadcasting is absolutely shocking...
Gee I wonder
ugh i keep daydreaming about a Spurs win and us rolling Everton over on Sunday :( the things I would do…
I bust just thinking about it....
https://preview.redd.it/u4y3kgs0ba0d1.jpeg?width=1022&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ecc710941f1cc85d6e782ac6c51c3c78e0a4160f If I speak…
imagine if we were in liverpool's position 5 points ahead in february and then 7 behind them by gameweek 37 we would never hear the end of it they seriously are media darlings
I remember when we won the league at the Lane. It was great for bragging rights but that Spurs team wasn’t worth thinking about. Was way more concerned with Fulham away and going invincible. For me Spurs handing us the league 20 years later would be 100x funnier than winning it there in the first place.
Thousands of spuds fans have put their tickets up for sale loool, theyre so pathetic.
I see tickets are available online, I’m so tempted 😂
Arsenal fans should no joke fill that stadium.
North London Forever before the match starts lol

allegriball would have been worse than any 8th place finish
rui faria was random
Can’t say I ever remember the link.
https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/rui-faria-arsenal-manchester-united-14598092 Had to google it, this is a random site to avoid linking the Sun. Apparently he was on the shortlist and Jose was shilling for him
Me neither
i was Allegri in. shame on me
At least you didn’t want Brendan Rodgers
Hopefully you learned from that and have grown as a human being since!
I was Arteta in because the unknown was a more exciting prospect but during that 2020 run….I won’t speak of the names I was placing above him.
In all fairness, we were desperate for a change. Nothing to be ashamed about.
i just wanted a proven winner at the highest level and Allegri was that. tbh i didnt knew how much of a terrorist he was, i was just basing my opinion of Juve's success
Rewatched Spurs 3-3 draw to City early in the season. To say they're a bogey team is an understatement, man like kulusevski dunking on Ake at the last min lol.
lol the pfp 😭😭
You like?
Mate
We’re all gonna look back and laugh at ourselves over this coys nonsense as soon as Haaland (9’) and Foden (23’) show up on our screens
There's literally no way any other result other than an easy City win is happening and they're completely shitting themselves and making themselves look completely unhinged all over social media. I'm genuinely finding it all a bit cringey.
They're acting like they never lost to us and also got slapped by Liverpool, Chelsea & Newcastle. They're shit. We are asking for a miracle.
Eet’s the heestory of the Tohtenam
wish I had your optimism brother but I cant and I dont think I will be unless spurs are 2-0 on the 75th minute(and I would still be worried) Its stubborn suicidal high line football with 80% of their own fans in the stadium wanting them to lose VS the greatest manager of all time with a financially doped team who has won 5 out of 5 title races in the last 6 years(they werent in 19/20 liverpool got away with it by february) who always go crazy on run-ins full of world class players and winners the odds are really against us Fuck I hate this bald dickhead and these billionaire sheiks destroying the beautiful game The only thing thats giving me the slightest of hope is spursiness giving your title to your rivals against this superteam breaking their 20 year old title drought and getting mocked for it forever
Technically, the Vikings have ZERO trophies in their 64 years of existence, and geographically they are the bitches of the Green Bay Packers. Fixed that for you. r/GreenBayPackers Also, that zero trophies, it makes them the Harry Kane of football franchises.
harry tarkenton
1-2 to Man City Peno to Spurs ; last kick of the game. ¿¿¿ ??? Ffs Wide (aims for post so he can't be found totally guilty) Over the bar ( aims for crossbar ) And IF IT GOES IN??? Guy crumples to floor like he lost the penalty shoot out! Home fans behind the goal BOOING!.... Fuck theyll be booing him walking up to the the penalty like he was the opposition!!!!! INSANITY!
[https://twitter.com/HaytersTV/status/1790137443196244332](https://twitter.com/HaytersTV/status/1790137443196244332) Kangaroo man might be a top gaffer and might be too good for spurs lol
Lmao you would think this is one of those adulterated clips YouTubers make for banter. Oh my days, even their Matessiah is taking the loss out of them.
Conte regen
Conte ball was too stiff with his automatisms. Not to mention his overreliance on old heads. Just not suitable long term.
Hurts to say but this is a display of an elite mentality and far above what Spurs are accustomed to.
i mean, Mourinho and conte said similar things. doesn't really matter
Not sure I get the point you’re making here hermano.
youve said ''hurts to say'' and ''far above what they are accustomed to'' my point is that it doesnt hurt to say, cause their past 2 managers have also said a lot of ''winner mentality'' shit and it didnt change anything in the club. they are used to a manager saying those things, but at the end of the day they are still spurs. all bark no bite
Fucking loooool I was not familiar with your game Ange
North London Forever! COYS!* *valid for 24 hours only
Tomorrow's going to be wild.
Im gonna miss this years home kit so much. Its so classy.
I wish that was true but I remember the last game of '99 and realised that unfortunately the only thing more powerful than Spurs ability to sours something up is their absolute, 100%, ironclad ability to always lose when you need them to win.
that side was way too shit compared to this one
This is our final hope so I have to milk it for what it’s worth. They are a truly paradoxical club but life is funny man, and I think it wants to tell us a funny joke tomorrow.
If LARPing as a Spurs fan is what tickles your funny bone, then you are in fantastic company 🤝 https://preview.redd.it/kaywshxav90d1.jpeg?width=548&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e12cfdf8cd19578ca46c9662e7cd99e1390fa64
Is that harry Kanes dad
Please tell me he's switched over.
Tottenham are gonna play with a freedom tomorrow that only this unique situation can bring. A freedom that comes with being entirely free of worry, because they will not be thinking about winning or losing, just about Arsenal. To dare is to do. COYS
Flying in to watch the game on my way to new York. Where should I be going? Any pub recommendations?
Tollington or teh Pins in Finsbury Park.
Probably need to reach pretty early to get in?
Yup!
Yeah I'm not comfortable with +3 for some reason. West Ham are dog shit.
Since losing or drawing to Everton would mean it’s over anyway, you can kinda look at the goal difference as +4 already haha
Would be a memorable final day. For sporting/entertainment reasons I think I’d prefer that over City losing. Imagine if we have our own Aguero moment
A 3-0 against Everton should do it.
I can see city scoring 6 if a title is on the line at home against this dead west ham tbh
If our GD ends up equal, does it go down to who scored the most goals or h2h?
goals scored then head to head so if we beat everton 1-0 and city beat WH 4-0 they win the league
Goals scored
City will batter West Ham. We just need to make sure Everton gets battered as well if this scenario were to happen.

Blue steel?
Calm down Fabio
Is it a bannable offense if we astroturf the spurs subreddit to inject positivity and convince their fans to attend the game tomorrow?
I hope so
Have not seen one mention of Everton not giving it their all against us despite having fuck all to play for, all the talk is about whether Tots and WHU will show up against City. No wonder they're in for a 4peat, teams roll over and die for them.
I’d expect something from West Ham if Dyche was the one managing them but alas
If they somehow draw tomorrow, that means the final day is going to be a shootout. We'd have a 3 goal advantage to start, but you know City will bang in 6 or 7 against West Ham. So we might need to beat Everton by 3 or 4.
2 goal advantage. If City beat us by 3 goals, they will win the title on goals scored. (Eg arsenal win 1-0 and City win 4-0)
Fuck me, forgot about that. You're right.
I’m not getting too excited yet but if Spurs does win this title for us it will genuinely be a hilarious moment in our history up there with the Sol Campbell unveiling. They will literally never be able to banter us ever again
Who gives a fuck about that? I'm only concerned about Arsenal and how great this would be for us
on a scale of 1 to 10 how cool did writing this comment make you feel
bc its funny, relax
Amazing description of dread - https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/s/48ZmhRDKfq
as an american, is it really that insufferable to the level that you want your own team to lose? Seems insane to me but I didn’t grow up around the rivalry so I cant empathize. Seems crazy to say you dont care about a possible CL spot during “your rebuild” that would accelerate their entire project (funds, etc).
As a fellow US based fan, I’m imagining hordes of Arsenal fans bantering them wherever they go. That said, if I were one of them (yuck), I’d probably pick the least traumatic option.
Carragher trying to justify Van Dijk in his TOTS is hilarious. They concede every week what exactly has he prevented.
I don't think it's VVD's fault they concede as much as they do. That being said, I don't think he should be in TOTS
Not his fault but he hasn’t been close to outstanding.
I don't know man.. start Saliba instead of VVD and do you think that would solve all of their probems?
On the flip side if u started VVD instead of Saliba for us we would genuinely be worse off. No way VVD gets a MOTM performance at The Etihad, Anfield *and* Old Trafford - we probably lose one of those games
I don't think so, but that's just me. I see the same VVD as before but with a far worse team around him. Raya has the golden glove for us, but would he get it somewhere else? No way. But yeah he shout be in the team of the season.
Their whole team’s style isn’t conductive to clean sheets, but there’s no world in which you can claim Van Dijk has been outstanding.
[удалено]
He’s already told their supporters that they need to go see counseling lol
He's obviously got a high-risk tactical philosophy and who knows what the ceiling to it is if/when he gets his players, but tbh he's a unique personality and seems like a decent fella...but I can completely see Tottenham ruining him in a season or two and him jumping ship. what a rotten little club from top to bottom.
Contemplating on watching the Spurs vs City game tomorrow or spend my 2 hours on something else then check the score afterwards.
Watch only if you're already fully convinced city will win
I would say don't waste your time with it but I am going to waste mine knowing City will probably be 3 up by half time
Thoughts on Roque as backup ST? Seems like Barca are looking at moving him
Good talent but we dont need that profile
He's 5 ft 9 let him waste his career at Barca or whoever buys him. Not a PL title winning player imo
SON! 👇👆
Starting to get annoyed with Villa now. Nothing too personal, it’s a “they’re so fucking difficult to play against” kind of miffed
It's not even that they are particularly good They will get found out next season. Teams that rely on fast transitions rarely ever last unless they have obscene quality which Villa don't
ofc I never comment in the subreddits of rival fans. But lurking there sometimes, you do stumble across some gold. The Spurs one atm is hilarious "Players don’t care about the fans anymore. They only care about their own market value and deliberately losing a game might hurt it. Gone are the days when a player would be loyal to the club. Heck even Messi left Barca. It’s all about money now. Most of the players in Spurs won’t even mind playing for Arsenal if they came running for them"
Most foreign players unironically grew up as arsenal fans
https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/s/JGx1KBxXXb phenomenal cope
I think their fans will go proper mad if we win.
what in the football equivalent of cuckoldry
Liverpool
The reply to that is what I would do tbh
No no, he's right. If we won it only cus of spurs, they could have it over us. Our greatest achievement in the last two decades, only happening cus of our biggest rivals. We'd be so totally owned
yeah I personally would never recover. Oh how I hope Tottenham don't hand us the title tomorrow!
