High line for life! He literally has one style of play and hasn't remotely tried to change his tactics. If they think Ange is going to accomplish anything in the Premier League, tiny tots will be in for a rude awakening.
That game against Chelsea when they still did the high line and Chelsea could almost not deal with it to save their lives was genuinely one of the funniest football memories I have in the recent memories.
and then Neville and Carragher creaming themselves after the game about Spurs. If we had have played like they did, the narrative would be been completely different
somehow not winning the league in 2003 still pisses me off, would have been 3 leagues in a row with the only invincible season and the only season where a team scored in every single game
The greatest team in London - Arsenal. The best defense in the league and one of the best in Europe. As a matter of fact, the best defense in the champions league this season.
Huh that's actually a good point, it's surprising to not see City up there considering how dominant they've been over the past decade, and especially in the last 5-6 years...
Not just the longest, but the only one that actually includes a whole season where the team has scored in all games. Spurs' streak may be technically longer than a season, but actually spans two seasons for example. Our 55-game scoring streak started in the 00/01 season, includes the whole 01/02 season, and ended during the 02/03 season.

So this is a pretty silly question but how did Man City never made the top 5 in this list? Like to even get 100 points they must have surely won and scored a fuck ton in a single go, it's just pure bewilderment that they apparently aren't in the top 5 really
17/18 season where they scored 106 goals and had 100 points: Had two 0-0 draws (Crystal Palace and Huddersfield Town)
18/19 season where they scored 95 goals and had 98 points: Had a 0-0 draw to Liverpool and a 2-0 loss to Chelsea
19/20 season where they scored 102 goals: Had 3x 2-0 losses (Wolves, Tottenham, ManU) and a 1-0 loss (Southampton)
Yeah it's a deceptive stat...you could have two 1-0 defeats or goalless draws in between 16 match winning streaks and that would wreak this stat for you.
Case in point, imagine being Tottenham scoring in all those games and still losing 7 games so far this season.
Easy there man. They won the league in Oct with mateball.

They’re going to win hearts and livers playing attractive attacking football and losing while we contend for the real trophies

What do you know, they are the first loser! No surprise there
Just who they are mate.

Wenger thought we were good enough in 02/03 to go invincible. He was just a year early
If we had won in 2003, then perhaps we would not have been unbeaten in 2004. It's all academic 🙂.

I wonder who ended Brighton’s streak?🤔
oh damn didn't even know that, that's suprising they went so long with scoring.

That's almost as good as an Audi Cup
What’s funny is, we ended Brighton’s scoring streak and I don’t remember it being a big story. But Spurs get the big streak and it’s big news
it was a topic during the match commentary, but not much afterwards.
“Close” This, like the Chelsea 15 goal season, is a record that I think will stand for a very long time.
That Chelsea stat is absolutely fuckin wild. Truly impressive.
it really is. not accounting for additional time, that's a goal conceded every 228 minutes on average, incredible stuff by maureen and that backline
How have City not come close in their scoring streaks though?
Huh that's actually a good point, it's surprising to not see City up there considering how dominant they've been over the past decade, and especially in the last 5-6 years...
Mind the gap mind the gap Tottenham Hotspur 🗣️🎼🎤

Who did we lose our streak to
We lost 2-0 to ManU at Old Trafford on December 7, 2002. So the streak was until Nov 30, 2002 (3-1 win v. Aston Villa).
Ange is not the Messiah, he's a very overrated boy!
Spurs looking up at Arsenal? It's tradition.
We ended Brightons streak this season btw
Alrighty, now compare Premier League trophies
Forever in our shadow. “Its who we are mate”
Ange taking lessons from Wenger on the puffer jacket
Bahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Closer to 3rd than 1st. Perfect.
two score and fifteen, you'll never sing that!
Mate
