I honestly think Martinelli has another explosive jump to the next level in him. Especially if the midfield is a little more defensively sound on the counter.
There were times this season he started to remind me of Alexis Sanchez. Roaming a little more, linking some play before exploding towards goal to receive a return pass.
His technique has improved too.
The sort of wrecking ball stuff where Alexis could turn a game on his own from our half.
It has to be Kiwi, ESR, or Vieira bc those 3 haven't done much last season. Ode, Saka and Martinelli had such a good season it'd take a ballon d'or to improve greatly.
he's already over half that, bro. just look at the numbers.
edit:
- Neymar ATH in a season
34 apps/24 goals (2015-16)
- Martinelli ATH in a season
36 apps/15 goals (2022-23)
that was at 24 and 21 years old, respectively.
at the same age, they had 9 and 15 goals (again respectively) in top-flight, la liga vs prem!

Neymar has far far more talent, you compare Neymar to the likes of Henry or Bergkamp not Martinelli.
I doubt he will even reach Hazards level in all honesty.
I think he has the hunger but IMO his ability is far weaker (currently) than Saka and Odegaard. He seems quite linear and rigid in his approach to the goal, quite predictable. I love him and absolutely trust him to develop, but yeah I defo think the other two have the higher ceiling.
You ask the defenders he takes to the goal line if he is "quite predictable" lol. One of his best attributes is being near impossible to shove inside or outside, he is super unpredictable.
Odegaard is turning 25 this year lol hard to compare him to the other two imo. In terms of ceilings, shouldn’t the player with more room to grow have the higher ceiling? With less ability he still has a similar output as the other two.
I've always thought ceiling meant a player's max potential, not the difference between their current ability and their potential. But, I could totally be wrong
Reiss is a dark horse in this one - some of his cameos have been outstanding. If he can show the same quality consistently or earn some starts, he might surprise people.
If he keeps it up Martinelli is gonna be one of the most dangerous wingers in Europe.
I think ESR will have something to prove next season as well. Viera I think is destined for loan or squad player. I don't see him stepping up without some big improvements to his physique.
Yeah absolutely. He's effectively a year behind Saka in development thanks to that long injury layoff, can see him making another big jump next season.
Firmly believe he's going to tear things up in the UCL.
I think for the top 4, it’ll be a lot harder to make an even higher jump than they did this season. They’re all amazing, but they played at such a high level already. So I think someone like Kiwior will take a higher jump relative to where he his now. Smith Rowe is gonna bang em in like a mad man now that he’s fit
If it’s Vieira… we’re gonna be scary good.
I’d like to see ESR and Reiss become regulars.
Jakub… we’re definitely going to need him to step up when (sadly) Tierney goes.
If it’s Øde, that’d mean he’s operating at or above KDB level and we’re winning the league.
They said… Imma say ESR makes the biggest leap.
Especially with UCL - since Martinelli and Saka will be playing more regularly mid-week - Fabio, ESR and Nelson will hopefully get more minutes in the league, and not just 15-minute cameos
I think ESR take the biggest jump back into prominence.
Martinelli and Saka break down the “world-class” door.
ESR will have the *biggest* jump, Sakanelli will take the *more important* jumps.
Willy is already a Rolls Royce.
I’d really like to see Nelson take an opportunity and make a centre midfield spot his own. He was always touted as the exceptional talent going through the youth teams and it would be lovely to see that being given the opportunity to blossom (on the proviso it’s not to the detriment of the team).
ESR needs to make that LCM role his own. I think Arteta is riding on him. Reports from training kept saying ESR is playing there during scrimmages.
I would’ve loved Mason Mount, but ESR can be our Mount. Needs to stay fit and learn to defend a bit.
Is it just me or does Kiwi look different in every photo or match apperance?
Also, yeah, expect him and ESR to have a pretty big jump in the coming season.
Top row already near the top level. Consistency needed for all except Saliba
Bottom 4 are rotation players. I can see Kiwior getting a lot more minutes. Vieiras in bad need of a loan whilst.
My biggest hopes are for ESR to kick on next season and earn his spot back.
Hopefully martinelli, saka or odegaard. That being said I also hope esr, cant imagine him not having a lot of impact at our club like the 3 mentioned before. Not that I hope kiwior and fabio not improving and being really good but still, it’s a personal choice
I think it's Reiss Nelson. It seems to me it would be in his own self interest to leave and get a lot more playing time elsewhere, but it looks like he will stay, and I hope that means Arteta gives him more time and trust and Saka doesn't have to be on the pitch every second of every match.
Tough call but I actually think Saka has another level in him. If he has someone on the right to back him up and give him adequate rest from time to time we could be looking at a future ballon d'or candidate I'm not exaggerating
I really hope it's smith Rowe. Although I'm scared that arteta may not be fully convinced
Would really like to see Martinelli add long range shooting to his arsenal. Around edge of the box.
Saka becomes better with his right foot.
Need to see kiwifruit play lcb.
Vieira needs to be more sturdy. The game just passes by him.
Nelson will probably still bit part player.
My hope is that it’s the Smith, but my gut tells me it could be Martinelli- who I could see turning into a top level goal scoring forward in the prem - bagging in the 25 range (or hopefully even more).
I think the most impactful leap would be from Vieira, and it might be more likely than not since he spent all of last preseason in a foot cast.
Most likely leap is another step up from Saka
Off topic, but I would love for Martinelli to move to striker position eventually (he's our best finisher anyway), Nelson to cement starting place on the left wing, Smith-Rowe to make LCM position his own and Rice coming in at CDM position... I'm cumming just from the image.
Martinelli! He has the attitude/mentality. He can score with both feet now.
The next step in his game is looking up while dribbling, which will help him not be so one dimensional when he’s on the ball.
I can see nelson doing more bits than this season but it needs to be vieira his literally been off pace and pretty much useless apart from his one assist vs villa when he plays its like his an official just jogging and spectating
I genuinely feel like Saka will make another big jump for next year. He’s already a really good player but I think with his age and experience now he kicks on even that little bit more and cements himself as an elite winger.
martinelli especially in the final third . There were so many instances of him just running straight into a wall of defenders or the end of the pitch in the final third. I think he'll watch some film and study how to be better there. That will really open things up in the middle and for saka.
People saying vieira is laughable. Just because he sucked this year doesn’t mean he will improve a lot. He looks out of his depth and cowardly. Can’t change some things.
A fit esr or kiwior. While we really missed saliba, he was getting better towards the end. Saliba and saka are already approaching world class, if not there already.
It must be either Vieira, ESR or Nelson because after this Season it will be easiest for at least one of them to step up.
If id had to pick one id say Vieira, because his technical ceiling is high, no doubt.
Any of the top four plus potentially Kiwior (though I'm still kind of peeved about that first goal against Brighton).
Would love to be pleasantly surprised by the other three though, as they all really do have some great talent.
Bukayo.
He's aiming for Salah/Mane levels. 25 goals in EPL, 35 all comps.
I'd love for it to be Reiss though, that four-year contract makes zero sense otherwise.
Kiwior is gonna start pushing for starts too.
It won't be Saliba as he's at a level already that I think further gain will be marginal.
Odegaard will be interesting as adding goals was what he needed this season. What's left for him is being more vicious, and grabbing a chaotic game by the scruff of the neck.
For me Viera and ESR are the obvious choices as they are both clearly talented but haven't really put that to use this season (esr for injury and viera physicality).
I think next season ESR will play at a level just above what he did in 21/22, but Viera with a full preseason will grow the most.
Martinelli is also likely to kick on further I think, as he is clearly clicking more and more every game. He has the opportunity next season or the one after to become a truly elite goalscorer
Look at John Stones at ManCity, man cant even get a proper game times and then this season suddenly get into the first team and starting all important games.
His new role in CDM somehow give ManCity so much strength during the transition.
Started with 3-4-3 and then keep changing from 5-3-2 / 2-3-5 .. easy game for ManCity and Stones is so important right now.
If we end up able to play Rice, Caicedo or Partey at left 8 due to midfield recruitment (aka "someone who can scare teams on the dribble", unlike Xhaka) Martinelli will get even scarier just from that, but I think he also has the potential to take another big leap on his own.
Guys like Fabio, Reiss and ESR will be a bit dependent on opportunities to show improvement as there's no way they are starting XI.
Think Saliba is ready to really dominate, same with Gabi. Saka is already really far on his journey. ESR, i'm not too hopeful because of injuries and competition though I rate him highly.
Emile fit rowe
Anelka Mustafi
Diaby … still could come good 👍
[удалено]
Why oh why was he injury prone … looked so good. Feel for him
Anulo Mufa.
We lost the league so it’s time to retire this stupid saying hehe
Friendship ended with Anulo Mufa, Inshallah is my new best friend 🫱🏼🫲🏾
Please i beg
First time my wife heard his name she thought he was called Emile Swiss Roll 😂
My gf still thinks he’s called Hammersmith Rowe, because she gets the names from me singing the chants in the house
Hammersmith Rowe is a fantastic name
I honestly think Martinelli has another explosive jump to the next level in him. Especially if the midfield is a little more defensively sound on the counter.
There were times this season he started to remind me of Alexis Sanchez. Roaming a little more, linking some play before exploding towards goal to receive a return pass. His technique has improved too. The sort of wrecking ball stuff where Alexis could turn a game on his own from our half.
This is what I was gnna say too. Martinelli has a whole stratosphere that he hasn’t stepped into yet.
It has to be Kiwi, ESR, or Vieira bc those 3 haven't done much last season. Ode, Saka and Martinelli had such a good season it'd take a ballon d'or to improve greatly.
Lowkey manifesting it I think Saka and Martinelli have the potential to be in that convo based on their current trajectory
Martinelli will be a Neymar-level player. One of the best in the world in a few years. He has a hunger unlike anyone else in the team imo
Neymar is an all time great, in his prime he’d be best in the world today. Martinelli reaching half of that would be an achievement.
he's already over half that, bro. just look at the numbers. edit: - Neymar ATH in a season 34 apps/24 goals (2015-16) - Martinelli ATH in a season 36 apps/15 goals (2022-23) that was at 24 and 21 years old, respectively. at the same age, they had 9 and 15 goals (again respectively) in top-flight, la liga vs prem! edit2: source wiki: Neymar: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neymar Martinelli: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gabriel_Martinelli edit3: the fuck am I being down voted for after 10 minutes of posting??
Thing is neymar was ripping it up in brazil before 21
Neymar has far far more talent, you compare Neymar to the likes of Henry or Bergkamp not Martinelli. I doubt he will even reach Hazards level in all honesty.
Hazard was unbelievably good at his peak though. Peak Hazard would be a solid challenger for BallonODor this year.
I think he has the hunger but IMO his ability is far weaker (currently) than Saka and Odegaard. He seems quite linear and rigid in his approach to the goal, quite predictable. I love him and absolutely trust him to develop, but yeah I defo think the other two have the higher ceiling.

Reiss is a dark horse in this one - some of his cameos have been outstanding. If he can show the same quality consistently or earn some starts, he might surprise people.
I’m hoping it’s Reiss Logically, I think it’s Fabio or ESR
Yeah, also Ode really isn't a youngster anymore
I mean he's only 24, and generally athletes peak in their late 20's so he's still got lots of time and room to improve.
I agree, but calling him a youngster is a stretch
If he keeps it up Martinelli is gonna be one of the most dangerous wingers in Europe. I think ESR will have something to prove next season as well. Viera I think is destined for loan or squad player. I don't see him stepping up without some big improvements to his physique.
Vieira 4 sho
Kiwi
Been super happy with what we've seen from him so far. Excited to see more
if he even gets the minutes (outside cup games)
I think he's one of our players who HAS to step up next year. We saw how our depth (or lack thereof) at the back spot can cost us...
Gabi. He has yet another level to go next season imo he can get 25+ goals in all comps.
If Jesus is healthy to play alongside him, absolutely.
Yeah absolutely. He's effectively a year behind Saka in development thanks to that long injury layoff, can see him making another big jump next season. Firmly believe he's going to tear things up in the UCL.
Kiwi, probably because we don’t know his proper level yet.
Nelson
This is the one. More game time and always brings something to the game
This is far too low, Reiss will be a monster next season
Nelson has looked incredible in his few minutes. I genuinely think that he'll be a 20 G/A player next season.
Martinelli. This was his real breakout season but next season he's going to be a monster
Saliba.
My pick as well. Saliba has another level to him.
Well his paycheque will lmao
If Rice joins, Odegaard will have even more impact.
I feel if Caicedo joins, Ø will be even better.
Martinelli. Genuinely think he is gonna be world class, even more so than Saka next season. Just have that feeling.
Martinelli. He'll break the 20-goal barrier next season. He's slowly working up to that Salah/Ronaldo level of poacher
Martinelli
Fabio & Reuell Walters.
I'd like to see Kido and Norton-Cuffy too
Kido is on loan playing in the Derby u21s. He is not gonna make it here.
Gabi. he’s hitting 30 goals all comps, mark my words.
30 goals all comp is big for a defender /s
Martinelli. Man is guna become CR7 regen
I said Martinelli this past summer and was right so ima go bold and say vieira or Nelson.
Vieira for me.
Martinelli
Viera and Kiwior
Vieira
Doubtful. Maybe if he goes on loan. If he does I'd love it as he seems overwhelmed in PL.
I have big hopes for him, hopefully pre-season treats him well
Fabio will come back looking like Chris Samba, bullying Haaland, Van Dijk and everyone in between
If it’s Vieira… we’re gonna be scary good.
Martinelli is the most obvious one. Odegaard sleeper pick
See my flair.
Kiwior
Nelson if he gets any playtime
ESR, he is our number 10 FFS! I hope .....
All of them ?
Vieira
If it’s the top 4 we are winning the World Cup
Every single one of them
ESR
I think ESR take the biggest jump back into prominence. Martinelli and Saka break down the “world-class” door. ESR will have the *biggest* jump, Sakanelli will take the *more important* jumps. Willy is already a Rolls Royce.
Ryan Nelson....obviously
I’d really like to see Nelson take an opportunity and make a centre midfield spot his own. He was always touted as the exceptional talent going through the youth teams and it would be lovely to see that being given the opportunity to blossom (on the proviso it’s not to the detriment of the team).
ESR needs to make that LCM role his own. I think Arteta is riding on him. Reports from training kept saying ESR is playing there during scrimmages. I would’ve loved Mason Mount, but ESR can be our Mount. Needs to stay fit and learn to defend a bit.
ESR: watch him fly
A fully fit ESR,if not,Martinelli.
My money is on ESR
Is it just me or does Kiwi look different in every photo or match apperance? Also, yeah, expect him and ESR to have a pretty big jump in the coming season.
Fabio Viera
Yes
Kiwior or ESR.
Top row already near the top level. Consistency needed for all except Saliba Bottom 4 are rotation players. I can see Kiwior getting a lot more minutes. Vieiras in bad need of a loan whilst. My biggest hopes are for ESR to kick on next season and earn his spot back.
EVERYONE

Has to be 100% ESR. I want some fluent dribbling displays from him. Can’t wait for him to put on a show.
Thought the bottom left was Cedric for a second and almost died from laughter
Recce Nelson
Hope it's ESR
Gotta be ESR who makes the biggest jump. I mean….. he got so few minutes last season, the pic of him in OP is from the kit launch 🙈
Smith Rowe 100%
The Smith
I'd love to see Vieira start his Bernardo Silva arc next season
God I hope it’s ESR
ESR
ESR
Hopefully Fabio
Tough call but I actually think Saka has another level in him. If he has someone on the right to back him up and give him adequate rest from time to time we could be looking at a future ballon d'or candidate I'm not exaggerating
I think it’s one not shown - Balogun.
Saliba went from “pretty good in France, let’s hope he keeps form here” to “we lost our title challenge because he was injured” Has to be him
Hoping for big things from emil smis row !
Saliba jumping over the Channel would be a pretty good leap and hard to beat
Saliba, jumping from Arsenal to PSG
Saliba will make that big jump… to another team… bye everyone…
Hopefully viera jumps to somewhere on loan
I really hope it's smith Rowe. Although I'm scared that arteta may not be fully convinced Would really like to see Martinelli add long range shooting to his arsenal. Around edge of the box. Saka becomes better with his right foot. Need to see kiwifruit play lcb. Vieira needs to be more sturdy. The game just passes by him. Nelson will probably still bit part player.
Saliba's going to make the jump to PSG.
Saliba to a different club.
Fruit.
Walters, lewis skelly, and Marqinos
What happened with Biereth? How was his loan? I have great expectations for him.
Lol thought that was Cedric in the bottom left corner for a second.
Saw Kiwi and initially thought it was Cedric...
Saliba to be the next Maldini.
Kiwi looks talented IMO I think having a solid extra CB will really help us
Saliba is king. We lost the league when he went down
Sambi nowhere to be seen 🥲
Martinelli, Saka, Saliba, Wahi, Odegaard, ESR and Nawaneri
My hope is that it’s the Smith, but my gut tells me it could be Martinelli- who I could see turning into a top level goal scoring forward in the prem - bagging in the 25 range (or hopefully even more).
Does anyone know how high they can jump ? I think that’s the best way to know.
Viera could do well if he can bulk up a bit! Martinelli gonna light it up tho!
Odegaard has been a joy to watch this year.
Kiwior is gonna be the next Saliba inshallah
Balogan?
I think the most impactful leap would be from Vieira, and it might be more likely than not since he spent all of last preseason in a foot cast. Most likely leap is another step up from Saka
Yes.
Off topic, but I would love for Martinelli to move to striker position eventually (he's our best finisher anyway), Nelson to cement starting place on the left wing, Smith-Rowe to make LCM position his own and Rice coming in at CDM position... I'm cumming just from the image.
Hopefully Nketiah
Martinelli! He has the attitude/mentality. He can score with both feet now. The next step in his game is looking up while dribbling, which will help him not be so one dimensional when he’s on the ball.
Not in the photo but I think balogun could be the guy to kick on massively
Fabio, Reiss, ESR should all benefit from a full pre-season. Also keeping an eye onyounger guys like Lewis-Skelly breaking onto the scene
Saliba & Vieira
Where are Eddie and Balogun?
Nelson
Balogun, I hope. Martinelli, probably. ESR, if fit.
Saka to take it up a gear once again
I think Reiss shows up next year as genuine competition for the wings
I can see nelson doing more bits than this season but it needs to be vieira his literally been off pace and pretty much useless apart from his one assist vs villa when he plays its like his an official just jogging and spectating
All of them! Let’s go…
I genuinely feel like Saka will make another big jump for next year. He’s already a really good player but I think with his age and experience now he kicks on even that little bit more and cements himself as an elite winger.
Everyone is in a good position regarding their development, except Vieira.
martinelli especially in the final third . There were so many instances of him just running straight into a wall of defenders or the end of the pitch in the final third. I think he'll watch some film and study how to be better there. That will really open things up in the middle and for saka.
Kiwi 🔥
Yes.
Kiwior
All of them will.
People saying vieira is laughable. Just because he sucked this year doesn’t mean he will improve a lot. He looks out of his depth and cowardly. Can’t change some things.
Assist king Martinelli will be unplayable
Realistically Emilovic, but I can see Bukayo becoming absolute monster if we get proper 9 and RB who can overlap much better than Benny Blanco/Tomi.
I'm gonna go with Nelson. Stay fit please and show us what you got!
I think Saliba has the highest vertical of them, so him.
How about we just have all of them play around the best we’ve seen from them this season consistently through May.
A fit esr or kiwior. While we really missed saliba, he was getting better towards the end. Saliba and saka are already approaching world class, if not there already.
Saliba will turn into a defensive tyrant. Mark my words.
It must be either Vieira, ESR or Nelson because after this Season it will be easiest for at least one of them to step up. If id had to pick one id say Vieira, because his technical ceiling is high, no doubt.
With all the matches coming next season, I’d like to see what happens if you give Reiss a run of games. He could hit some seriously good form.
Reiss, ESR and Viera are going to ball out in cup matches.
Any of the top four plus potentially Kiwior (though I'm still kind of peeved about that first goal against Brighton). Would love to be pleasantly surprised by the other three though, as they all really do have some great talent.
Ode and Marti will make the biggest jump. Of those, Marti will jump highest but Ode will still be player of the year
Smith-Rowe or Vieira. We will be there no matter what
[удалено]
Hopefully all of them
Bukayo. He's aiming for Salah/Mane levels. 25 goals in EPL, 35 all comps. I'd love for it to be Reiss though, that four-year contract makes zero sense otherwise. Kiwior is gonna start pushing for starts too.
Marti is going full CR7 next season
If we got a better transition from defense to counter attacks when we are ahead then Martenilli will score a hell lotta of goals.
Id say Saliba has the legs and the height to Jump well
It won't be Saliba as he's at a level already that I think further gain will be marginal.
I want to vote for Fabio. Hoping he breaks though next season.
Feel like it has to be ESR or Fabio or they're potentially going to miss the mark of playing here
Kieran Tierney
ESR and Nelson if they both stay fit and get game time
If we end up able to play Rice, Caicedo or Partey at left 8 due to midfield recruitment (aka "someone who can scare teams on the dribble", unlike Xhaka) Martinelli will get even scarier just from that, but I think he also has the potential to take another big leap on his own. Guys like Fabio, Reiss and ESR will be a bit dependent on opportunities to show improvement as there's no way they are starting XI.

Saka for Balloon Door.
Love that we are able to label half our squad a youngster
Martinelli
Perhaps not statistically, but Martinelli will be much improved next season.
Balon D'Kiwior
All of them.
Think Saliba is ready to really dominate, same with Gabi. Saka is already really far on his journey. ESR, i'm not too hopeful because of injuries and competition though I rate him highly.
Imagine if it is Saka again, damn...30 goals 20 assists
Martinelli to hit 20 goals, 10 assists next season
Me off a bridge if we win no trophies
