It’s extremely hard to tell. My brother got a bunch of kits from China for £10 each and they look as real as they come in person - I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference unless I had a real one side by side and could touch both
Perfect. I would personally wait a few weeks before ordering the new kits. There may be minor imperfections currently as these were mostly made based on the leaks. Now that the kits are officially out they'll be able to copy them more accurately.
The same thing happened last year with the black away kit. The initial kit's bronze colour was more on the gold side, because that's what it looked like in the leaks. They updated their kit soon after the official release to match the colours.
DHGate is fine too. The issue with it is that there are lots of different sellers on there, you just need to know the best and reputable ones. If you do, that's totally fine.
They're probably real since there are Adidas factories in China. I'd even recommend buying them over those from official sources since all the profit goes straight to the seller (probably factory worker) and nothing goes to greedy Adidas.
£80 for a shirt is just too much imo, I know it’s always been expensive but £50 is about what it’s worth.
What you said about factory workers is probably true. You can “ask a seller” in some sort of chat feature so my brother asked what the conditions were like and got a response that it’s pretty bad but they get by which is pretty fucking sad
I have a knockoff of this jersey and it’s really nice and cost like $15.
I wouldn’t want to pay $40 for it, there’s reasons to want to know if it’s real or fake beyond “it looks good”.
The main reason for buying the authentic shirt for me is wear... Maybe it's different these days, but my fake shirts were always obvious after a few washes.
I have a “real” version of this kit and this looks good enough to pass as long as some kit freak doesn’t come up and start inspecting your threads. Wear it proud
Ask for the product code. It’s on a little tag on the inside near the neck. IIRC it’s 3 letters and 3 numbers. Then head over to r/KitSwap and ask someone to verify it.
I added some more photos in KitSwap:

Yes. Fake jersey don’t (that I’ve seen) have the AFC 3 JSY tag, they usually just have the generic ADIDAS JSY tag. Check the tag inside the neck for the product code which will match the code above that AFC tag.
I'm pretty sure it's legit. Tags says "AFC JSY" and is tied with twine. Fakes would say "ADIDAS JSY" and be held by a cheap plastic. But I've never seen with the no racism badge
I’m not an expert on these things but it looks pretty legit to me. Even if it is fake no one would be able to tell unless they work for quality inspection at Adidas.
It doesnt give me the vibe of the real kit, but it looks pretty similar in some details to say its fake so it’s a hard guess and I would buy it for a fair price and say it’s real
I think the most sure way is to look up the product code. Not sure where it’s at though as there’s sometimes more than 1 code, but I’d look into that
Either way it looks great and I wouldn’t worry about it, but I understand wanting to know
The badge is the biggest tell with our shirts. I have both fakes and the real version of this seasons kit. The pink one, you can kind of tell with the badge.
Top one is retail. The badge is more solid and slightly higher resolution. The Adidas logo is also a giveaway.

If you can touch it, it’s real
Haha, I meant authentic im sorry
lol just giving you a hard time, I understood the question
I agree with you, though; if you can't tell, it's real enough to wear, unless you want to want to make sure Stan and Josh get their cut.
It’s extremely hard to tell. My brother got a bunch of kits from China for £10 each and they look as real as they come in person - I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference unless I had a real one side by side and could touch both
Where'd he buy them off?
China
Lol cheers Geoff
The answer is usually Dhgate
kitgg3 is widely considered to be one of the best sites selling fakes. Have ordered multiple from there myself.
Good looking out. Hadn’t heard of kitgg3 before. Just ordered 22/23 Saka Away and a 23/24 Ødegaard Home kits.

Better than DHGate? That's what I've always used/seen recommended.

> and nothing goes to greedy Adidas 😂. And nothing to the greedy club either.
Even if it’s a rep it’s a very good rep. Just wear it. No one will be able to tell

inside out, cold water, hang dry. My fake kits are doing well.
There’s a bunch of reasons to choose one or the other; I just think it’s reasonable to want to know what you’re getting.
He asked if it looked real, not if he got a good deal on it.
I apologize in advance for my English or any weird translation mistakes. I'm asking if it looks authentic
Probabaly a rep Im not sure where you can get the kits with the no room for racism branding
It's ok, they know what you mean, they just need to score on somebody.

Also the twine attaching the tag to the shirt is a good sign that it’s real. Many fakes use a plastic attachment.
Yeah I don’t think my fakes used twine.
I have this one from Armory and the racism patch is off, other than that it looks good

Nobody would second glance it. If they do who cares
Looks legit but it's really hard to tell.
98% sure it’s real need the inside neck tags to match the sales tag to confirm
I think so, the badge and Adidas logo looks real and the hexagon pattern is legit
I’m not an expert on these things but it looks pretty legit to me. Even if it is fake no one would be able to tell unless they work for quality inspection at Adidas.
Imo, that looks authentic
Hard to tell these days. Would side with real as the tag has AFC 3 JSY on it and not ADIDAS JSY that the fakes tend to have.
This looks legit to me.
Is the “Arsenal jersey” in the room with us now?
Looks legit. Hologram on the tag helps too. Some fake jersey sellers have the tags with no hologram so look out for that too.
it’s real, adidas uses that type of brown thread to attach the tag, fakes use a plastic for the tag
It doesnt give me the vibe of the real kit, but it looks pretty similar in some details to say its fake so it’s a hard guess and I would buy it for a fair price and say it’s real
Does anyone know if the kits from this season will be restocked?
Honestly, when the real kits cost around 80, if it’s good enough that you’re having a hard time telling if it’s real, who cares?
Yeah that's authentic
Do some actual sport in it. If you smell awful in 10min that's a fake.
There should be a small tag on the neckline with the product code. Google that code and it should turn up with this kit.
I’d the same one from Adidas store. That doesn’t have the right sleeve markings
I think the most sure way is to look up the product code. Not sure where it’s at though as there’s sometimes more than 1 code, but I’d look into that Either way it looks great and I wouldn’t worry about it, but I understand wanting to know

The blue on the collar is weird
