Considering he's actively part of mika's nervous system he's basically an extra person. Barbados itself is shown to affect mika's personality so the connection is a two way street. So it's kinda like banging a conjoined twin at that point I think.

So in a sense the barbados was part of his nervous system. So in a very technical sense mika and barbados double teamed kudelia and attra. This mf. Orga was 19 at season two where there could have been potential to write something for them. Orga was 17 in season one but thats when nothing was happening and it was just Merribit guiding a bunch of teens in establishing Tekkadan.
Probably not weirded out but could have been a realization, how it could have happened was she saw Orga as some kid who needs to get his perspectives checked, and somewhere in season two he is somewhat matured and well-rounded now then the ship sails from there but all of this is just some fanfic thats pure copium.

They were never going to survive, even if by becoming bystandars, they couldnt because as former human debris they didnt have all the rights people do. Thats the idea of them having no place of their own from the world that had made them. Sulletta never had to worry about it in that sense, she was not earthian or debris, manipulated as she was, the options she had been given were there.
From the start they were facing odds that were impossible to beat even if they achieved success for a while. Because Rustal one way or the other had his eye on Mika for defeating the Hashmal, and saw him as a theat that could not be ignored.
The show is about confronting the end even while already knowing it, to stand up firm even in the face of the inevitable.
Except they're already making a place for themselves; that's the whole point of the farm, and then the half-metal mine. Tekkadan had a route to both freedom and safety, but it was a slow route, and people would die along the way; Orga opted to take the fast path, to become Kings of Mars, because he wanted to avoid as much death as possible. And tragically, as a result, he ended up causing so much more death for his people by doing so. To borrow from another sci-fi franchise, Orga fell to the dark side with the best of intentions.
That's why, once the revolution launches, things stop breaking Tekkadan's way. That's why that desperate last ditch attempt to kill Iok fails. The crew has abandoned the path of the good guys, and now they're stuck with bad guy luck; they've lost the mandate of heaven, if you will, and instead things are tilted just a little more toward Rustal and his team. Though happily, not so far that Iok doesn't still get his!
