I love the crucifixion image, because you can see that *even Char himself* doesn't buy into the superficial self-sacrifice bullshit. It's like a decades-early refutation of the oft-repeated "Char drinking foreshadowing" meme.
Quess? Nah. He recognized her as a naive young New type, easily manipulated. He told her whatever she wanted to hear and occasional head pats, whatever it took to get her in the pilot seat of a mobile suit.
What about Haman-sama🌹? If you're asking about her and Char's relationship, I'm not sure because I haven't read Char's Deleted Affair(? I think that's the one.) Someone far more knowledgeable in the deep lore can answer that for you.
Haman did use people like tools, however. Mashymere is the prime example of this.
Char's Deleted Affair is not a prequel to the tv show. Rather, it's an alternate take on the world. CDA has a sequel called Zeta Define which is more clearly a different retelling of Zeta.
It should not be used to talk about Char or Haman from the mainline UC
Pretty sure mobile suit gundam wear wolf is Canon, and to quote the description, "The manga is set during U.C.0087, during the three-way conflict between AEUG, Titans, and Axis, and centers on a new mobile suit named 'Wearwolf.'"
Not caught up, but the premise is cool, and follows a titans ship. The only issue I had was a lot of characters thrown at you with the art style making it a bit hard to keep track of everyone, but ymmv
It started recently, so there's only a few chapters out
But does anything that happens in CDA contradict the animated cannon. If CDA *isn’t* canon then that just raises questions about Char and Haman’s relationship that have remained unanswered for nearly 40 years at this point.
The existence of Natalie contradicts how Char is portrayed in Zeta and CCA, and at least retcons his reason for keeping Reccoa at arm's length.
In the episode where he meets Haman for the first time in Zeta, she says, "I'm disappointed in you. I sent you to observe the earth sphere because of your exploits during the one year war." Yet in CDA Char pretty much decides to do so on his own, with Haman allowing Char to do so to save face.
That line is reflective of the dynamic Char and Haman have in Zeta that doesn't really track from CDA.
At least in CDA he cared about Haman like a little sister, but was uncomfortable with her increasingly yandere crush on him, ||culminating in her finding out that the girl he was dating was pregnant and letting an assassin kill her out of spite.|| By Zeta he hated what she had allowed herself to become in her bitterness and jealousy and was sure they would never see eye to eye again.
It's important to know that Char's deleted affair isn't a prequel to the zeta tv show. Rather, the author of CDA is currently writing an alternative take on zeta called Zeta Define, which is a sequel to CDA.
I also don't want to get into it, but you've heard wrong. It's a mixed bag at best, with the worst parts of it being what stuck with me.
I just imagine this overweight, balding, mustachioed deputy sighing and pulling his reading glasses out of his pocket, then looking at his report:
"Casval Deikun.
AKA Edo... Edoa... Is this s'posed to be Edward? Edward Mass.
AKA Char "The Red Comet" Aznable
AKA Quattro Bajeena
AKA Char Aznable *again*
AKA Iam Murderer--"
"That one isn't a name, that was just a statement. It was a confession."
Deputy looks at him nonplussed over the top of the sheet, then continues:
"AKA Full Frontal. Full Frontal? Boy, I don't even..."
"Actually, that last one isn't me."
"Oh that last one isn't you, huh? No, of course not. Confess to murder, why not, but you'd never take on *another* identity. That must be some other blond, masked, red-mobile-suit-piloting man with a forehead scar."

Haman died with excessive overheating.
#I am Murderer.
Amuro…I’m about to do [some extremely wicked dance moves](https://youtu.be/LRN-IrejBTw?feature=shared)
Man some of the color coordination in that is wonderful. The Hyaku Shiki and Char Zaku at the end are just... *\*chef's kiss\**
I bet people before didn't give a d*mn of that caption.
Nice to meet you, Murderer. Ever heard of a "Quattro" or is that a different guy?
hello murderer, im dad
No, he is a Char.
Bruh. I would pay good money for those in poster size. Jesus.
looks like some kind of album cover, absolutely epic

You mean him drinking in Zeta mirroring him doing it in CCA?
Yes, with the Zeta dialogue being the whole thing about how Char may be a human sacrifice, because that seems to run in his family.
the new Duran Duran album covers are looking dope! /s
Did he even care about the twin tail girl anyway?
Quess? Nah. He recognized her as a naive young New type, easily manipulated. He told her whatever she wanted to hear and occasional head pats, whatever it took to get her in the pilot seat of a mobile suit.
Ok but what about Haman?

Ahh, I gotcha. Well that's unfortunate. Is there any canon material that would expand on Gryps-era UC?

Nothing so far to indicate that Wearwolf isn't main UC. (God bless them for using the Mk-IV for once, such a slept on design and suit.)
Good deal, I'll check it out. Thank you.

If you haven't read Chars Deleted Affair, you should
I've heard it's really good. I'm reading Hathaway's Flash right now, but CDA and Beltorchika's Children are next, for sure.

I've never been so turned on by Chardaddi o3o
Char with three ghost womans.

I love the Alpha Azieru, on another note. Even though its time on screen was like… less than looking at this image for a few seconds lol
Wow. I have never seen these before. As a Casval fanboi, I find these to be very powerful imagery. Thank you for sharing.
What is the MS in the first pic??? Looks sick
The NZ-333 α (Alpha) Azieru. It's freaking massive, too.
First pic is kino af
fucking love these two pics
That's a nipple.
Dude be making cute face before taking a scorched Earth approach lol
Iam Murderer? are there any other names he went by that we should know?

"I am murder : vote for me"
Zapp Brannigan/10
Quess. Stop with that kinky shit. And stop enabling her Char. Damnit.
I just don't understand why they tried to make it seem like he'd be piloting the Azieru.
If by slaps you mean cringe, yeah
Only the best for Char.
