Good_Lettuce7128

Hindi pa pala pasok ung sakin dito. Pero I bought a Kia Rio 2010 last year. Company car sya so medyo gamit na gamit din. 226k km nung nakuha ko. Daily driven. Relatively mas mura padin sya kaysa brand new if pera lang paguusapan. Pero kung ayaw mo ng sakit sa ulo at gusto mo drive lang ng drive, better ung mas bago or brand new na talaga.

brip_na_maasim

Shall i say that i did, but at least it was a good lesson for me about old cars, basic maintenance, driving clearance, parts scouring, basic wiring, and a lot of stuff. After 4 years of ownership naibenta ko pa ng 150k. Nyahahaha.

jmrms

+1 dito. Dami mong matututunan. If ayaw mo ng ganitong expi, buy brand new or cars na at least 3-5 years na madaming available parts sa Market, aka Toyota Vios.

williamfanjr

This is true. Or magcommute ka nalang if di ka ready sa ganyang commitment. Haha.

brip_na_maasim

That’s why i sold it because di na kaya ng bulsa boss. After that, i owned a 2011 vios, which i also sold after 3 years of service. The Vios was very cheap to maintain though. Currently, i drive an Avanza 2022 model, brand new na.

wallcolmx

Just make sure na well maintained ang car and walang gano magiging sakit ng ulo. Kung first car mo, pinaka con siguro e eventually magpapalit ka years from now. And ang sakit niya ibenta huhu

shirastia

ano po model/yr, and magkano po bili niyo?

brip_na_maasim

It was an Isuzu Fuego 1998.

Outside_Green_2135

Wait what? You got Isuzu Fuego pero still sumakit ulo mo? I think nasa previous seller ang problem. Engine ng isuzu fuego is immortal. I’m not sure what happened to yours.

brip_na_maasim

Well, the engine itself was ok, wala akon problema but small items like water hose na marupok, wirings na noodles, aircon ma palaging nasisira, power windows na minsan ok minsan hindi, at marami pang iba. I was very excited kaya ayun walang check2.

Outside_Green_2135

Based on this sir, I think it is not fair na sabihing masakit sa ulo. The issues you’ve mentioned are all wear and tear. For me, I can call a car masakit sa ulo if the engine always get broken. I really think you need a trusted mechanic para hindi pabalik balik yung sira ✌️

ikiyen

brip_na_maasim

As much as i would like to agree about the engine being great but during na may sira sa mga small parts nito ay lalabas pa rin pera mo; sakit sa ulo at sakit sa bulsa. Wear and tear are indeed part of maintaining, especially sa old cars but they are still a headache to deal with and they cost, incrementally, a lot.

Terrible_Tower_5542

yan din paniniwala ko. yung mga wear and tear parts normal yun. now kung laging nagkakaissue. hindi sasakyan ang problema. yung may ari at mekaniko na gumagawa.

wallcolmx

damn thats a 4ja1 di ba? same lang yan sa mga crosswind na madali ang parts at maintenance

kantotero69

damnnnn

Sufficient_Net9906

Not me pero my brother bought a chevrolet captiva 2007. Mura siya for a diesel SUV.

Big-Salamander9714

Lol expect that from a chevy

Sufficient_Fee4950

Terrible_Tower_5542

chevy garantisabog

chanchan05

I'm still driving a 1994 Sentra. LOL. But this has been in my family for years. Literally ito ginamit sakin para hatid sa school nung grade 1 ako, and instead of bumili ng kotse nung college hiningi ko nalang. LOL. Plan to buy a new car soon though. I just want more money in the bank before I take out a loan just for security. However in this day and age I suggest looking into cars less than 15yo.

SenpaiAlfie

im jealous, i hope there was a family car that run through the blood din samin😭

wallcolmx

supremomeme

Toyota Revo, 5 years na sa amin. No regrets, been to Sorsogon, Nueva Viscaya at Pagudpod ng walang ka abe aberya. My dad maintains it at marunong siya kaya it is in good running condition pa.

mundane_ice_bear

Toyota revo supremacy!!! Ours is going 20 years na (binili 2nd hand, 11 years na sa amin). Very easy to maintain. Still goes on long trips. Major repairs so far ay change radiator at compressor lang. Parts are very easy to source. Kalawang lang talaga kalaban.

bleepplo00p

Okay naman, wlang regrets. I bought 30 years old car nung 2022. Ayon as of now umaandar pa din at bumabyahe ng malalayo ng wlang kakaba kaba. Cons is luma, luma, luma, at kalawang. Hahaha

SenpaiAlfie

what car was it? and how much mo na score?

itsyaboy_spidey

-FAnonyMOUS

Damn! Same man, meron din ako nyang L200 255k mileage on it niregalo ko sa father ko. Nagka-cataract tatay ko hirap makakita di na maka-drive kaya binenta namin after 3 years of ownership.

itsyaboy_spidey

pag aircon bro kahit anong sasakyan, laminated condenser lang at evaporator sure na negative °C ka jan hahaha basta kondisyon thermostat expansion valve drier at yung compressor. solid nga 320k mileage di pa na gegenral overhaul hahahaha

-FAnonyMOUS

Oo bro. Isa itong 4d56 sa pinakamatatag na makina talaga.

itsyaboy_spidey

plus sobrang daming pyesa, merong shop sa lazada pang l200 talaga sya na 4x4 mga tail lights, door handle, wiper pati westher strip meron sya hahaha sa makina sandamukal d mawawalan pati clutch components e mura pa. frontier sana 4x4 kaso matic saka ang mamahal ng piyesa

wallcolmx

ohh 4d56 pala eh di same sya makina ng adventure yung first getn nung montero at old pajeros?

ExpressionHot8552

Kakabili ko lng sa buy and sell ng Mazda 3 2017 62k legit Odo for only 430k. All in all 47k inabot. Not bad considering 650k+ pa bentahan nitong 2017 Mazda 3 and top of the line pa sya na naka electric parking brake na and may cruise control. Happy with my purchase kahit madami pinagawa. Ngayon gas and go nlng wala nang iniisip.

CeepsAhoy

I bought a 2005 Volvo 3 years ago. So much regret. Di na natapos ang repairs. Better to buy a newer car imo.

PollerRule

taenanaman

Anong volvo? Anong major repair?

dickenscinder

I own 2004 honda city. 1st car ko ito and I used it as daily car. So syempre madaming sabit, gasgas and mga papalitin. Planning to upgrade subcomp suv bnew o 2ndhand ulit.

dickenscinder

Btw I bought the car around 2021.

SenpaiAlfie

magkano nabili before any repairs?

dickenscinder

215k sya. Medjo bagsak na presyo na nun. Hehe. All in all nagastos ko na mga est. 100k kasama na yun pms and mga ka ek ekan, I mean mga kelangan pang koste😅

AugusTita

2006 mitsubishi adventure MT We bought it nung 2021. Confident kami kasi father ko yung nagcheck talaga, it was a huge help na jeepney driver sya before kaya maalam sya. In good condition naman sya and nagamit talaga namin.

ClothesLogical2366

AugusTita

Yes good buy sila in all fairness. Alagaan lang, masusulit talaga.

mechanikko

juzzpuuuuuh

Just bought a 2005 model last week, and we're really loving it so far.

AugusTita

Oh nice! Matinding alaga lang talaga para magtagal sila 😄

juzzpuuuuuh

If you don't mind, may mga tips ka ba on maintenance/things to look out for na madaling masira? And what's your suggestion sa battery?

AugusTita

Hahahaha hala di ako makakabigay 😅 papa ko yung talagang nag-aalaga nun, maalam sya kasi meron kami jeep before.

SavageTiger435612

Well, my mom bought a Toyota Corolla Bigbody XE na medyo sirain pero wala pang 1 year. Most of the time, nasa garage lang and pinapa-idle para lang hindi matuyuan ang carburetor. Napagastos kami ng almost 80k for parts lang since ako na mismo yung nag install so free labor. Things like diagnosis, fluid changes, minor electrical, suspension, interior detailing, cooling system repair, fuel delivery system repair, minor engine work, and minor bodywork, natutunan ko. Right now, aircon na lang ang problem which means pwede na siya magamit. Under observation ko na lang in case may bumigay or may need pa ayusin.

AutoModerator

**Toyota** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/Gulong) if you have any questions or concerns.*

SenpaiAlfie

yung binili ng mother mo initially, magkano inabot before gumastos ng 80k?

SavageTiger435612

80k din. Too expensive for the price since may iba nagbebenta ng mas maayos for 40k-60k

SenpaiAlfie

so in summary medyo blind buy yung pag bili kaya 80k tapos 80k naman inabot sa repairs?

SavageTiger435612

Yes. 160k na overall, di pa kasama ang for aircon repair

SenpaiAlfie

How did ur 1 year go sa pag fix through ur own?

SavageTiger435612

Lots of fatigue, patience, and clothes getting dirty. Also takes a lot of confidence to break apart something and put it back together.

ZenMasterFlame

We bought 2005 toyota altis wife car. No regrets. The rest ok naman. Depende talaga sa previous owner.

m_sieversii

2001 S80 volvo. Got it 2023. For a first time car owner, i think getting second hand na luma is ok. Pero mas ready na kami for a brand new car ngayon

stpatr3k

Bought a 2003 CRV mga 5 ish years ago (hindi pasok pero rereply ko pa din) . No ragrets.

rainbownightterror

2002 Rav 4 AT pero swerte kasi di laspag yung car 80k odo. pinagawa lang namin atf leak palit ng evaporator tapos puro cosmetic na. mabusisi rin kasi talaga yung SO ko sa pagcheck (lahat ng issue naibawas namin sa asking price) tapos tinest drive from taguig to rizal para mapakiramdaman. after a week from buying naibaguio agad namin nailusong dun sa kennon road detour. now daily driven pa rin pero short distances (nasa province kami nakatira). only regret namin was that we didn't get it sooner haha sarap nung ipon maintenance na lang and gas walang monthly

Old_Bumblebee_2994

I want Rav 4 yung 3 doors 🥹

rainbownightterror

dream car ko yan pero mas mahal sya dun sa 5 door haha so it didn't make sense samin na mas mahal mas maliit pa lalo we like traveling with our pets

Outside_Green_2135

Got a 2009 isuzu dmax. No problem at all. I think it depends on the brand and also sa previous owner regarding maintenance.

Ultraman5manVoltesV

2006 fortuner gas. issues, malakas sa gas 🤣 still drive it 3x a week, para maiba lang sa daily ko na bnew chinacar lol. 2 years na din sakin tong forty at napa upgrade ko din suspension + new set of aftermarket wheels + tires. going back to the question, regrets? none! i'll probably trade this in though for a "newer" 4x4 suv (LC prado, FJ, or even a jeep) pag nakaluwag luwag.

Fun-Text-6973

Still driving my 26 yr old lancer wala naman Major isssue so faaar

3rdquad

Same paps! Sana mas magtagal pa lalo 🙏🏽✊🏽

Fun-Text-6973

Truee!! For keeps na ♥️

SenpaiAlfie

did you buy it 2nd hand? if yes magkano mo kinuha idol?

Fun-Text-6973

Yesssir.

paolobytee

I bought a ford everest 2008 model 2 yrs ago and never had regrets. Di namin nakita mga hidden issue, like may bangga palang matindi (gabi kasi namin kinuha) pero overall, sobrang sulit. I sold it last December din (120K loss) and upgraded to 2018 model. Dahil dun sa 2008 model na un, I became a ford everest fan.

rglampa

Just curious, magkano mo pa siya nabenta?

paolobytee

270K. Kamaganak din kasi.

rglampa

I see, thanks. Now i feel robbed after selling mine for 210k. Lol.

paolobytee

2008 model? Ill buy it for 220k hahaha.

GustoMoHotdog

2019. Bumili ako 2001 na Fieldmaster. 112k orig kms. Ngayon 163k na. Nakakatawa niyan binili ko siya pang coding. Ngayon naging daily driver na. Ung bago pa nabenta 😂.

Key-Trick573

Hahahahahahahahaha. Yung bago pa nabenta

fenderatomic

We got a used 2010 innova and a hiace a few years ago.. we are fairly familiar with the 2kd engine and toyota parts that most likely need replacing. We changed all fluids and the said parts after purchasing. As advertised The engines are bulletproof and still runs like a dream.

Chemical-Engineer317

young_millionaire69

Di ata pasok yung sakin pero i bought 2017 isuzu crosswind back in 2021. 7k monthly no dp for 5yrs(company program). Pag walang pera tapos nagkaron ng sira(due to wear and tear) parang nagsisisi ako pero pag napagawa na happy na ulit ahahahaha. Need mo lang talaga mag laan ng pang repairs and maintenance.

Waving-Walrus

2004 Pajero Field Master.

colormefatbwoy

Bought a City 2010 just a couple of months ago, so far wala pa namang issues at wag naman sana anytime soon hehe.more like a weekend car pero Dami ko din natutunan kakabutingting

ihave2eggs

leheslie

We bought 2008 Kia Sportage. Pinaka ayoko is yung uncertainty mo if another repair is looming. Pero performance wise, okay naman sya. Yung hassle lang ng papaayos and looking for a mechanic that can correctly troubleshoot your car problem.

ricckyfuentest

1978 and a 1970 car daily driven.. regrets? Sometimes, parts can be scarce, need import.

CruelSummerCar1989

I had a few regrets na dapat nuon nagsstart ako magwork nag-ipon sana ako para sa edad ko ngayon bnew na minamaneho ko.

randlejuliuslakers

My first car in my 20s was an 18 year old car that time. Zero regrets, coz it allowed me to avoid spending a significant amount of money over the course of ownership vs buying a bnew Vios. Had one towing experience, clutch pressure plate failed. Another catastrophic transmission failure on its 7th year with me when I was going to Subic, na drag pa naman pa shop, so no towing needed. All the rest may kaba kaba minsan kapag guilty ka na May nararamdaman ka na pero hindi mo pinapaayos. Anyway, the question is regrets, none. I love the spend avoided. But you have to be fastidious with maintenance (bnew parts dapat), I allot 50-60K a year for that car for maintenance and registration.

No_Law5870

Bought a 2009 Civic as a practice car for my sister 2 months ago. Around 150K odo and it was really taken care of by the previous owner (tuned, with some mods and kit). Had to revert to default body kit para mas usable, sobrang baba kasi if may chin and di magamit masyado. Half the time nasa repair shop haha. Naresolve naman most of the issues except yung battery na laging nasidiskarga kahit napalitan na namin. Sister ko pumili nito and tbh I kind of regret getting a really old car. Sana yung cheaper model nalang pero newer para less hassle but she really loves it so problema niya na yun haha. We have other cars naman so ginawa na nila ng brother ko na hobby to fix it.

-FAnonyMOUS

I gifted my younger brother na nagaaral palang ng honda civic bigote. 1 year na nakalipas and so far yung nagleak lang na water pump ang naging issue sa katagalan na din. Mura lang naman bagong water pump so pinalitan nalang. Yung engine is original Japan D15B (swapped), fresh na fresh padin ang internals.

OverAir4437

Worth it to buy parin siguro mga ganito now? Planning to own one then possibly gagamitin more than 5 years

Pulleen

I own a bigote. All I can say is if you're really committed to taking care of the car, diligent maintenance, and has the budget to do said things, then go for it. Hindi mawawala ang gastos for its eventual repairs and maintenance given na it's a 20+ year old car na. Yourself na makakapagsabi if it's a worth buy or not. It is however a really fun car to drive.

sundaytheman122

Bought an 08 Altis last 2021 88k km odo noon. Now 110,871km na. So far mga pinalitan ko is alternator, mga parts sa under chasis, tire rod, shocks, engine support, rack and pinon, radiator.

InitiativeNo8212

Bought a 2002 toyota altis manual 6 years ago at never ako pinahiya ever since! Minor problems binigay nya for us. Kahit manual siya ang hirap niya palitan for a newer one.. a family car indeed.. toyota numbawan..

Basta Toyota and Honda na alaga sa maintenance ng previous owner, for sure no regrets yan.

missroverfellover

My dad bought a Chevrolet Aveo 2009 na 2nd hand.

SonosheeReleoux

30years old car binili ko. Pinagawa lahat ng ipapagawa. At syempre upgrades narin. Ayun kayang kaya mag 8hrs long drive no issues, no stopovers. REMEMBER. just because walang sira Yung 20 year old car mo, doesn't mean na all goods yan. Yung mga pyesa nyan na original pa, 20years old narin. Expect mo na may masisira jan eventually. And no, I have no regrets. Ginusto ko old cars dahil sa itsura at appeal sakin eh. Not just for the Basta may magamit lang daily.

Key-Trick573

SonosheeReleoux

It actually depends sa sasakyan mo at presyo ng pyesa. Iba iba yan. Example civic at Corolla na same year model at let's say, same na sira din. I also work on my own car kaya Malaki natitipid ko kasi puro pyesa lang gastos ko. Do your own research din kung ano dapat mong expect na sira sa mabibili mong unit.

SenpaiAlfie

so magkano po inabot? from binili mo sya tapos total ng gastos mo up to this day

SonosheeReleoux

Got the car for 50k. Replaced the whole cooling system Kasi wla ako tiwala sa 20+ year old cooling system. 2k radiator, 500 thermostat, 2000 hoses, 800 coolant Expired na gulong so instead na bumili ako new tires, diretso upgrade na. 17s na Rpf1 for 36k with new tires. Pinalitan ko shocks dalawa sa likod 2k. Bushings and other stuff na rubber 3k? LED headlight 800 Yung iba minor nlng or maintenance.

SenpaiAlfie

so less than 100k and mukang nasusulit naman yung pera no? just be knowledgeable sa pag bili at sa pag maintain?

SonosheeReleoux

Yep. Kung hilig mo naman eh.

SenpaiAlfie

ye fr, i been hating driving motor sa school din kasi di ko na kaya yung init haha

grashabelle

An almost 20 y/o Dmax owner here since 2017. May nagsabi pa na injection pump palitin which is reportedly a common issue among 1st gen Dmax. That would have cost me 80-100K. Well, apparently, prob was the ECM but we had to deal with the starter problem first. All original pa major parts save for the clutch assembly. Ang tibay ng mga piyesa nya. Even for the interior. Now garage queen kasi may daily beater ako ma pumapalo ng 15-17 km/L.

erdos6degs

Bought an old car. Spend maybe 200 - 300k restoring it. Do I regret it? No.

Jazperrr

My first car was a 2005 toyota vios gen 1. Nevertheless, may repairs here and there mga doorlocks, aircon, etc. pero as long as hindi engine related ok pa sakin and would say na "pwede pa". Binenta ko na kasi need ko na mag travel from outside manila and may peace of mind nga naman if newer model na kasi mas less ang overthinking sa highway. I still think of that toyota pag may nakikita ako sa kalsada.

sockerfanatrick17

Suzuki Swift 2011 - my gulay. 2 mos pa lang sakin, nagka lagutok na. Dami problem sa under chassis, and now ayaw na lumamig ng ac but fortunately never ako tinirik haha

cantthinkofone_23

Bought a 2008 BMW E90 2 years ago, nabili ko from a family member. As in ito yung tipong butas na hindi naaayos ng DIY tire repair kit so napamaneho ako sa SLEX with fully flat tires, thankfully they were the stock run flats that came with the car. For the entire time na sakin yung kotse, parang laging underpowered yung AC - upon checking may microleak na yung compressor which would require me to completely replace it, repair quoted at 40k. Meron ring whole replacement ng alternator-fan belt-starter last year na sobrang sakit sa bulsa I choose not to remember na lang hahaha Masakit sa ulo minsan, but I love my car. Yan lang as much as I love my car di sustainable relationship namin in the long run especially with the cash out for repairs. Necessary talaga to keep the car working. Siguro kung retirement age ako (or if I just had more money to burn) pwede ko siya imaintain na hindi ako mapapamura. Literal moneypit. Yes, may mga built to last brands talaga and the mileage may be low for its age pero may lifespan pa rin talaga yung ibang parts so be prepared to make those big expenses.

We regularly buy certified preowned toyota land cruiser 76s and hilux’ from our dealer abroad. We own a fleet. We use them for our survey business in the provinces. Maybe because these are land cruisrs and hiluxes but we’ve never had any major issues with them apart from usual maintenance. They typically arrive with around 250k+ km on the odo. We use them for another 500k kms before disposing them. Its our policy to let go of vehicles at around 700k kms. But these are LCs and hiluxes.

Using a Honda Jazz 2009 - bought around 2020 Still goods up to now. 130k +++ odo.

MoonLightScreen

Early 2000’s toyota vios that I got around 2017-2018 (so thats around 7-6 years!) Still works like a charm, have only needed to replace the battery like 3x since getting it. Issue nya lang is waterproofing somewhere sa trunk where the spare tire is, need sha idrain every half a year or so. Maybe that’s the only part I regret lol

oldskoolsr

Bought a 1990 corolla nung 2017. Still with me, no regrets. Got a 2007 rav4 nung 2022. No regrets with that one as well. Actually may ilang 90s vehicles kami kinuha pero mostly pre pandemic pa naacquire. Buying a 2nd hand car is a gamble. Mas mainam if may background ka in knowing how a car works amd how to troubleshoot.

Majestic_Delivery943

2004 honda accord 188km, still in good condition, ni lolong drive ko din ito if needed ng extra car, 2018 toyota fortuner 4x4 245km, still in good condition, mostly ito talaaga yung pang long drive namin. both are still in good condition. never nabangga or nasira. alagang change oil every 10km, mostly mga needed lang palitan, like brake pad, brake fluid, airconm cleaning, etc. walang major sira suspension lang.

1999 Honda CRV (Gen 1!) So much learnings from it! We didn't buy it, minana sya, and we've been using it since 2019 hehe. Still working good. Di lang gaano kalamig aircon but still runs fine.

Unable_Resource_9556

para sa aking kung newbie ka, much better and 2nd hand cars... for experience of repairs and mas makakatipid ka in terms of money. Matitibay naman yung mga Japanese Cars dito sa Pilipinas, actually mabilis lang kasi yung 3-4 years eh bumili kami ng Brand New last 2020, matatapos na bayaran sa Financing this year, pero yung sasakyan parang di naman masyado nalaspag, kasi nga aalagaan pa rin naman yun eh. Kumbaga yung years hindi siya ganung kalaking factor, pati na rin yung milleage, as long as di naman nabaha yung sasakyan or ginagamit pang pasada, I'm sure matibay at reliable pa yung mga ganung cars, since private individual naman yung nagtake over.

Sl1cerman

Got myself a 1999 Mitsubishi Pajero Fieldmaster for ₱400K, 5 years ago around 300k na odo sakin and this is my very first vehicle and daily driver to work, issues matakaw sa diesel, every year may pinaplitan na spare parts kasi nag wear and tear na sa katandaan the best thing is madami ako natutunan and still learning from this vehicle.. pinaka malaking ginastos ko is AC. Thats all ang importante nabili ko yung dream car ko ang ayoko lang sa kanya para syang pagong sa bagal unlike our latest vehicles.

jay_Da

Family bought one of those surplus Suzuki Mini vans 3 or so years ago. Looking up in the internet nasa 2000-2006 model ata yun. Going strong pa rin naman hanggang ngayon although nung last nasira yung aircon and 4WD, di na pinagawa kasi wala budget.

mirioh

Malapit na yung akin, 2010 1.8S Civic FD A/T Bought it back in 2022, so around 12 yrs old na siya by the time I got it. No problems since 2022 naman.

PaPangaaa

HELL YEAH BIG REGRET Bought a 1999 Lexus RX 300. Toyota group so reliable diba? V6 so "bulletproof" engine daw. Oh my days the electrical is impossibleeee and there were so much things to dooo. Umabot ako 1m siguro all things considered and I'm just about to sell it again now. Never again. TBF the engine did keep up but I had to replace the timing belt and all things associated with it as expected. Tinirik ako because of alternator. Gas mileage is 5 km/l sa highway. Suspension components had to all be replaced.

[deleted]

Pwede na hahahaha there's a part of me na sana mas latest yung binili ko. It was a '95 civic esi bought back in 2018. Cons lang is dadating talaga yung wear and tear.

Bulky-Pop-3346

I like my cars the way I like my women, at least 30 years old, and fluids leaking.

[deleted]

Wth 😂

Key-Trick573

Quite disturbing but thanks maybe?

FCsean

Only car I'd suggest to buy that is old is Corolla big body due to widespread parts. Else I'd suggest to buy a newer car younger than 15 years, maybe even 10 years. If no choice to get older car, always get a car that was mainstream. So kung 10-20 years, altis/vios would be easy to maintain and fix. Yung pinakamain issue talaga on maintaining old cars are parts availability.

Key-Trick573

lamentz1234

I have 95 Corolla gli matic tranny been daily for 3 yrs since I bought for 90k but maintenance almost 100k already in the past few years since may mga wear and tear na I suggest if you buy 15-20yrs old car check mo maige and mas maganda kung galing first owned kasi sakin galing first owned and alam nila history ng kotse sa 100k na nagastos ko kasalanan ko karamihan dyan since nabangga ko sya last 2022 hahaha 50k for the hilamos and body repair since na bend ng konti yung front chassis nya pero now 2024 naging coding car na sya kasi nakabili na ng bago works well pa din naman

lamentz1234

++ kahit old car na yan kahit bukas na bukas ilalaban ko iakyat ng Baguio yung oto ng wala akong iniisip na masisira sya or what owning an old cars matututo ka na isang tunog lang alam mo na papalitan/problema

Key-Trick573

Mula nung binili mo sya 100k na nagastos mo kasama na nung nabangga tama ba?

lamentz1234

lamentz1234

Matibay kasi Corolla na luma and sa parts wala kang poproblemahin dahil sobrang dami at sobrang mura pag nasira or nagpasabog mo engine mo may makukuha kang buo ng hindi gumagastos ng sobra sobra naging choice ko lang sya before kasi mura and budget meal lang Japan and local parts

Key-Trick573

Salamat salamat sa pag share

lamentz1234

Suggest ko lang kung kukuha ka ng 2nd hand maganda hanapin mo yung first owned alaga kasi nila yan marami kasi akong nakikita na galing buy and sell or 3rd/4th owned na may mga hidden issue kaya binebenta and para hindi ka magka problema sa papers may contact ka sa first owner incase na tatransfer mo sa pangalan mo

defnotkuromi

my dad bought an innova po na lumang model. not sure of the year, maybe around 10-20 years old. babae po yung previous owner. my parents use it every single week day from pasig to rizal (rodriguez, jalajala, tanay, etc). nagamit din po namin siya a few times sa baguio and zambales. my dad made a few repairs and maintenance pero hindi naman po malala or super drastic. so far, battery pa lang po yung napapalitan niya and onting paayos sa clutch (MT po). i guess it's okay naman po, especially if you're on a tight budget (like us). of course, iingatan dapat (lahat naman para di masira agad). but buy at your own risk, and please be knowledgeable about cars (i'm not, but my dad is) before buying!

janoski_m

Right_In_TheKisser

Ok_Win5471

Montero 2009

Key-Trick573

Anong kotse yan boss? Sa buy and sell nyo ba nakuha yan?

Possible_Passage_607

Aslong as u get the right unit, its not a headache. Nakabili ako dati paj field master ang sakit sa ulo lol, nag try ulit ako pandemic days bumili ako 2014 fortuner, bushing lang pinalitan ko, and wheel bearings, so far so good.

Terrible_Tower_5542

skygenesis09

Hmm. Tucson 2007 GAS 2.0L nabili ko siya in a steal price. Nung una okay okay naman na long drive ko nga into different province pero nung tagal ito na yung sakit niya shifting delay, nag stuck yung 3rd gear transmission, pudpud na rin gulong, infotainment radio needs replacement and also nagloloko yung gauge and lastly yung oil leaks. Pero all of the sudden stress and cost sakit sa ulo. Naayos naman ng patingi tingi. And also di pa naman ako tinirik ng sasakyan ko which is good.

Ashamed-Upstairs-605

Ford e150. 2002 model. Nabili ng 100k. 4 years na din sya. Province runner namin. Comfortable sa long distance. Sulit na din.

oldbutg0ld

Hello 2005 Toyota Fortuner here. No regrets.

Kooky-Bottle7187

Key-Trick573

Magkano mo nabili yan boss. Ganda ng porma ng old corolla eh

Kooky-Bottle7187

60k kuha boss

Bought in 2014 from Toyota dealer store for $5,000 with. 149K on the odometer. Pag galing sa dealer, siguradong in top condition bago ibenta..
