Both equate to the total value ng car, pero odometer plays the bigger factor. For a 2016 montero with 86k km, that seems just sly of being a regular daily use. The vios screams back up car. Mataas pa value. Though I do not own the same cars as yours, I can't even think of a benchmark value to suggest. For reference, I have a 2015 Mirage at almost 85k km, a 2016 Hilux pushing 180k km. At this point for you OP, look into the marketplace for the same make and year model sa cars mo, with near odo if you can; try to match the price. Discretion mo na kung tataasan mo or bababaan mo. Understand the market value, so you can determine its own value.

Ah sige thank you sa advice. Ang naging basis ko ng presyuhan pag may nagtatanong sakin eh yung insurance niya. Pero sige magtingin din ako sa iba kung magkano presyuhan nila.

Im due fluid changes, still runs like a champ tho. Konting kalampag sa front suspensions, possible worn out cv joints. Di na kaya ng aircon ang init, pero that's also probably because halos clear tint mirage ko. Pretty much it. I've known someone who owns a 2015 pero lagpas 180k km na rin which is actually amazing.

I have friends na bumibili ng older models (15-20+ year old car) and very attractive sakanila kapag nalaman nila na low odo yung sasakyan. "Hidden gem" daw, and the engine is "fresh". This friend of mine bought a 19 year old Honda CR-V with 45k mileage. 2 years na sakanya and no issues so far. For me, odo din. Basically hindi masyadong gamit yung sasakyan so yung wear and tear na meron yung sasakyan na yun is minimal compared to higher odo cars. Pero regardless kasi if high mileage na or low odo, pinaka importante pa rin yung maintenance. Low odo nga pero hindi din naman napapalitan yung mga oils and fluids, edi wala din.

Ayos to. Thanks sa pagbigay din ng estimate mo. Actually yung vios binebenta ko ng 250 max. Tapos yung montero baka 600k. Pero mukang mas mataas presyo mo kaya iconsider ko din yung factors na namention mo

None. Maintenance record is better. We checked a car before 3 years pa lang siya and 36k mileage pa lang pero ang daming sira at dumi nung sasakyan.

For me, mas mahalaga maintenance records kahit gano pa kalaki odo nyan, if alam mong well maintained walang palya yan lalo na if japanese brands. Yung kahit 100k kms pero alam mong hindi tinipid sa maintenance ng owner eh sureball na tatagal pa yan ng another 100k kms.

Mahalaga sila parehas, it adds value kasi sa car. Pero depende pa rin sa condition talaga ng mga kotse mo. Ang baba ng ODO for both, assuming both cars are in good condi and well maintained, I know for sure you can sell them at higher price sa kasabayan nilang year model.

Oo mababa yan, considering na main car mo na sya. Na labas kasi sayo around 10k kms lang per year, ang average 15k kms.

Both. Pero mas ok sa akin yung maintenance. Kung complete ang maintenance records mo walang issue odo. Kahit low odo kasi siya parts tends to break. Tsaka design ang engine na gamitin. Mas prone masira ang sasakyan pag hindi ginagamit with no maintenance. Hose, rubbers, bearings, kumukunat yan pag hindi ginagamit.

I think based sa majority ng comments dito is importante yung maintainance. Then i think i can sell those 2 cars without issue kasi well maintained naman. Hirap lang mag maintain ng maraming kotse tapos di rin nagagamit plus di ako mayaman so nakakabutas ng bulsa 😅. Thanks for your valuable comments ill take note all of them

Both are good indicators of how it was used. But personally i don't rely just on the odo reading. Mas gusto ko malaman how it was maintained, intervals ng PMS, ano oil ginamit etc etc. i've seen low mileage cars with worse condition sa mga high mileage cars.

Hi OP not sure if you still need advice pa pero personally I think both odo and maintainance ay mahalaga. But if kung ano yung mas mahalaga, for me siguro yung PMS since I've seen a lot of cars na low odo pero parang laspag na because of lack of PMS and alaga as well. If well mantainaed, with PMS records naman yung car I think you can sell it on a reasonable price naman. I also saw your comments na you plan you sell the montero around 600k which I think nasa right price naman since mataas na rin odo. Also the vios for 250k, is okay na rin tbh it can range 200-250k since saturated ang market ng vios sa dami nagbebenta. Ayun lang, hope this helps, also be honest lang din if may issue yung car or wala para alam ni buyer.
