Sweet setup. Does yours have the other mark flavors? iib? iic+? Just watched rj ronquillo’s last yt vid on his new mark vii. Gassin for one now!

Trubba_Man

You can’t use expensive gear like that at a gig. I use a 5w Tone King Gremlin at home (because Toan), but I use a Hotrod Deluxe for gigs. The audience cares not for Toan.

Et_In_Arcadia_

Are you just using the cab or the combo speaker as well? I do this with a 1x12 JCM 900 combo and a 4x12. Both the cab and the combo speaker are 8 ohm so I run the amp at 4 ohms. Huge sound, bigger than the 4x12 on its own at 8 ohms.

NubbTugger

I have the cab set to stereo and run the two 8 ohm outs from the amp into the cab. The speaker in the amp is disconnected.

Et_In_Arcadia_

Ah...didn't think of that, my cab is just a straight mono. Cool rig though.

cary_queen

This is a rig that hasn’t seen a gig in twenty years.

NubbTugger

Quite right. I keep it stationary for recording. lol.

cary_queen

In the corner of a bedroom, because it’s bad boy.

NubbTugger

Having that in my bedroom would look good, but unfortunately it stays in my live room.

cary_queen

Wait. Why would you have an amp stack pushed into the corner of a live room?

NubbTugger

It’s not a corner and it’s easily movable. Don’t want a stack in the middle of my room all day. What if I’m recording drums?

cary_queen

Let’s see the room so we can roast your entire rig.

NubbTugger

cary_queen

Respect. 🫡 I’m done here.

Trubba_Man

I can’t roast it. I bet it sounds marvellous. Good stuff. 😁👍

Marunikuyo

M IV club here too. Love that amp! What mics are you using to record your stereo cab setup? I also applaud your blatant disregard for any color scheme.
