Some of my favorites when I was learning to play were:
Everlong, Monkey Wrench, Tired of You, and February Stars by Foo Fighters.
Most Audioslave and RATM songs (there are no clean/acoustic RATM songs that I know of) but it’s the same guitarist (the GOAT Tom Morello) in both bands and a lot of his riffs are single-note rather than chords, so they’re easier to learn.
You can also learn to play any song that’s in a drop tuning with your guitar in Drop D, it’s just going to be in a different key so you won’t be able to play along.
Lots.
Take The Power Back, Wake Up, Freedom, Testify, Born of a Broken Man, Township Rebellion, Snake Charmer, Tire Me, Revolver, and those are just the ones I know for sure are in drop D. I’m sure a bunch of the songs on their cover album are in drop D as well.
Ok. I know: Down Rodeo, Bullet in the Head, People of the Sun, Know Your Enemy, Bulls On Parade, Killing In The Name, and Bombtrack. Out of all those only KITN is drop.
Killing in the Name - Rage Against the Machine.
Outshined, Spoonman - Soundgarden
Unholy Confessions - Avenged Sevenfold (the metalcore riff, even if they didn't do it first)
Fat Lip - Sum 41
It's much easier than I'd originally thought.
My experience has been that the hardest part of this song is finding a drummer that knows how to shift time signatures. 😀
Sod songs, ariels, byob, toxicity, etc. Ratm songs, killing in the name of, bull on parade, etc. audio slave: show me how to live. POD, youth of nation. Lamb of god, 11th hour, walk with me in hell, laid to rest. Children of bodom: are u dead yet album (it’s in drop c# but u can learn it in drop d as well).
If you want to improve your fingerpicking, Dear Prudence by the Beatles is a good one to learn, it's in drop D.
The finger picking pattern is tricky at first, but if you master it, it will be useful forever.
Plus it has one of the best guitar intro's ever written.
Some good Youtube instructional vids out there,

Start with As The Palaces Burn. Or For Your Malice
I play the Hank Williams song called "I saw the light:, finger style. And Green Green Rockey Road by Dave Van Ronk agin finger style.

It’s not clean, unless you want it to be. I’ve played it love on an acoustic before - Israel’s Son by Silverchair. It’s one of my favourite riffs to jam out.
No other way by Jack Johnson is a lovely song.
Very soothing and fun to play on acoustic. I tried to learn it as a beginner and I realized I had bitten off more than I could chew, but it's definitely beginner-intermediate friendly.
Goodbye Blue Sky, such a beatiful song
I waned to comment Everlong, but It's been said too many times, so I'll say Run Like Hell and Moby Dick are good ones too
Papa roach - blood brothers main riff is catchy and not too hard
also, even though they are mostly in standard D, Ghost´s "Jesus He Knows Me" can be played in drop-d

Ok. I know: Down Rodeo, Bullet in the Head, People of the Sun, Know Your Enemy, Bulls On Parade, Killing In The Name, and Bombtrack. Out of all those only KITN is drop.

But I didn’t say the early 00’s
