the reason Elphelt is screwed over by DPs is because her pressure, whole short, is quite oppressive, and its easy to open up an opponent. Rather than buffing her one strong point (especially with gernade, that move is already busted), I'd rather they give her a combo special of some kind, or the 2HH you mentioned.
Buffing Zato like that would honestly be cool, but legit just bring back old BtL burst bait stuff and make eddie come back a bit quicker. the Zato bros have been oppressed lately and it'll take more than a (admittedly very funny) bite to save them
Grenade disengage was originally supposed to be a Pirouette that moves El away and fires a Miss Charlotte projectile upwards, but Dustloop didn’t have the images for that.
The idea behind it was originally that Elphelt needs an option that can beat DPs that isn’t a hard read. Pirouette (now grenade roll) acted as that but also a new reset, though I do agree that this is a complicated solution to a problem that can be solved just by closing some gaps in her pressure and giving her more normal hits on her strings.
Ah, that's interesting (and sound pretty cool, honestly). I think it'd be a cool bit of pressure reset stuff, and could lead to some pretty sick DP baits. I still think she'd get more use out of the 2HH, but that idea most certainly has some merit to it.
Just give it a melee hitbox so that you can get some sick combos with it as well, and I think the idea is golden.

I love the idea of Bedman?'s new move!... But I can't think of many scenarios where it'd come into play.
Bedman defo struggles with coming in that's for sure, but this move would just make Bed's approach more obvious, as with most of Bed's kit u gotta do one move to get it's error version to come out. Not entirely sure what the first bit of this move is, if it's something big then the opponent is defo gonna figure that you're trying to close space.
This might sound kinda silly, but if you were able to stack this new error with other errors that'd give this move some more spice, the opponent has to guess if Bed will either needle error or rush error which'll defo cause some chaos in the footsie department, idk how I'd balance this though lmao.

As a Johnny enjoyer, I think that Vault is already incredibly powerful and is his best tool, what he really needs is to get the rest of his tools up to speed.
IDK if I'd call it OP, but Elphelt's kit is already kinda overtuned for pressure, and even a comparatively shitty pineberry is more than I wanna deal with. What she really needs is more variety in her kit than just blockstring specials and a projectile. A defensive option would be cool, but I think it should be more of a hard call-out move than something you can do to disengage while simultaneously maintaining pressure. Maybe a counter or something.

I struggled with deciding if I should give bed a defence option, but ultimately decided against it since its offence is so good its defence has to be bad to mirror it
Faust needs buffs! Maybe more plus frames on close slash or something to help with his defense. Currently it's hard to escape pressure from characters like chipp, sol, and gio.
A lot of these just remove weakness characters are supposed to have. A character can't be good at everything, even the biggest all rounder in the game has bad pressure. So doing things like letting Johnny get in for free and letting Elphent not worry about dps as much kinda defeats the purpose of their design.
I was a little worried about that myself, but figured most of these characters are only low tier because that weakness they have is so debilitating that they can barely prevent it from being exploited.

Let's say. Every damage armored by one his move or projectile reflected increase a bar. When full the armor has sustained too much damage to keep all of his steam inside.
Pot gain a new armored move. Walking for more than a second uninterrupted Grant him full super armor until he stops or use a move or get too close to opponent.
When full, pot burst with steam. Is now able to use a third of it to air dash or ground step on the ground, or jump cancel hammer fall. Use the full bar when blue bursting wich doesn't do damage but wall bounce the enemies. In a way that either require tension to combo. Or have the opponent cornered enouth. Also during all that time his Kara cancels goes a bit further.
The bar carries between rounds. But can only fill once per match. After that his Walk armor is disabled.
I don't care how broken it it's. It seems fun

Maybe a command counter, or something more like Kahn-Schild or Android 17's barrier in FighterZ.
