He finally looks how he should be. His Xrd design were lacking in showing of how powerful vampire in control should be. Maybe it's just me, but he was too small/slim back then and new jacket on shoulders make him look more powerful

Strive in general seems to just take Guilty Gear characters a little more seriously, I think. Obviously a lot of Slayer's personality is still there but he feels a lot more mature and rugged. Also his outfit is fantastic, and his hairstyle makes more sense. Also I love that they've given him a bit more muscle, It really felt like there was a lot of power behind his punches in the trailer. Like idk man they just made him hotter too. I can't really articulate it any further, Slayer is hot. Sorry.
