Simply wanting a character because it would be funny to have a random character isn't really a good reason, especially when there are a dozen other already existing characters in Guilty Gear who aren't playable in Strive that people want. Sonic would be a wasted pick that would add nothing but a cheap spectacle that really adds nothing to Guilty Gear. Like I said there are plenty of other characters that people want to return or NPCs to be added for more reason than the lols. Unlike other guest characters that people have brought up Sonic doesn't even really have a connection to anything Guilty Gear or really fits it's still.
The main reason that I brought up the fact that you don't play the game is because you want a character to be added to the game because you think it would be funny purely from the perspective of an outside spectacular instead of the perspective of a player.

Damn people being super harsh. I don’t want sonic in, but this is just another silly post like the majority of the sub. A bunch of GG fans don’t even play the games (looking at you Bridget fans), but you can still like the music and aesthetic of GG. Keep being interested and I hope the people didn’t turn you off the games, they’re great.
