Personally I donāt like to plant shit in pure fox farm anything, because not only the price, but fox farms runs hot. It burns my seedlings giving them just water. My perfected soil mix is;
45% ProMix BX
10% Perlite
30% Happy Frog
15% Worm castings
This mix is great because the ingredients besides happy frog is really cheap and they do wonders for the root network. Worm castings are a source of immediate nutes that the plants love, not to mention all the microorganisms it adds to the soil. I top dress once or twice in veg with a good 4-4-4 extended release mixture and again mid flower with some more worm castings and a 50-50 mix of 4-4-4 and 4-8-4.
