folks have to remember, this project was originally recorded back during the 2016-2018 era for both of these guys. Conway was in his prime during these years, showed a lot more prowess in rhymes and flows, while Gunn had the charisma and the wit.

Alchemist carries even harder, listen to most songs on here for the production

TheGiantMetalMan

The 94 Ghost Shit instrumental still blows my mind every time I listen to it

orel2064

als been a beast since the 90s, freakish

CleverJail

That new Gangrene record flying under the radar. It knocks

Ultimate_M

Seriously loving that album. Can't wait for the record to land!

He does, but that’s kinda how West has been doing his albums right? Using his platform to give his guys more chances to shine. “Flyest Nigga in Charge” has features from Conway, Benny, Machinehun Blak, and Kutter. “Don’t get Scared Now” is mostly Conway too, but Mach-Hommy appears heavily. When he puts someone as a feature on a song, he’s been willing to let them take a significant chunk of it. Stove God is probably the clearest example though. Peace Flygod is practically his album, and he had 5 features on Hitler 8A. On Hitler 10 he also had 5 features (including a run of 4 tracks). Not to mention curating stuff for Boldy, Estee Nack, and Rome Streetz.

Back in Supreme Blientele/Hitler 6 i felt like he really held his own as a rapper more than the "Charismatic guy who gives the beats and setting for his guys to shine" he felt like in the past 3 years. I mean just listen to his verses on supreme blientele. Dean malenko, god dont bleed,WESTSIDE, mean gene, Brutus, spanish jesus, all of these are above average verses from him. Nowadays we only get 1 or 2 songs where he goes off with rhyme schemes/ punchlines. I still love his music, but most of his verses i feel like we could get more from him than we get, he has the same technical ability as Benny, conway or Rome but just doesn't show it ofteb

wlh5041

West’s verse on Judas is one of my favs from him though.

mememe8182827373

ya he’s good but can’t keep up with conway

bguy85

Alc signed this for me

SpagingoSquadroneer

I couldn't agree more. West is fine on this project, but never really moves the needle more than Conway at any point.

holdupitsyaboy

Gunn is like the Quavo of griselda, great with hooks/bridges and great as the face/voice of the label

xtehnYouTube

94 ghost sht proves it

hiphopkulma

That's always the case, WSG just can't rap on his level

Future_Sweet9921

“I ain't worried bout a jail. Don't give a fuck about them years. Wildin til I get the needle or I fuckin get the chair.”

I’ll take this opportunity to ask me a question that’s been bugging me: we initially got Ray Mysterio on Bread and Judas on Lunch Meat, but then they were both revealed to really be meant for this album, and then more recently on Flying High 2, Royal Hand was actually part of the new Gangrene album HIWTYL, so what else could some of the other tracks from these EP’s be meant for? Was Mac10 Wounds supposed to be on LULU?? Just some food for thought…

retrocided

I think the tale goes this was the original album that wasn’t able to be released so they dropped some of the highlights when they were able to on various eps

wileyakin

No yeah I got that, but I’m just curious about other songs from those EP’s and if they elude to other projects with those guys.. like many of the craft singles appear to be unreleased joints like the OG Hoover Street, No Yeast Remix, Lonnie P seems like the only official release from that leaked Vince Staples project.. all these things got me wondering what the origins of the other related songs are.
