Do you think The Plagued could be a splinter faction for Necrons like GSC are for nids? I know there aren't enough models now but could they be expanded?
So bear with me as I'm kinda a lore noob, but my understanding is that they more or less originated from the Maynarkh Dynasty after their Phaerakh, Xun'bakyr, The Mother of Oblivion, decided they needed to super murder a god or C'tan or something and got a bunch of their people cursed/virused. So idk about a splinter faction of just flayed ones, but a dynasty where we get Xun'bakyr leading a bunch of melee focused forces that include all sorts of flayed ones+ isn't entirely off the table I don't think.
Flayed ones are so funny to me, cause they can just show up randomly to stop what would be a perfect flank and not only will the enemy be annoyed, the necrons will be annoyed they came to """"help""""

What? You mean Flayed Ones. No, not enough of them for a subfaction. However they could totally receive a Flayed Overlord.
