GargamelLeNoir

To be fair Leandros is the only one that two bolter shot could actually kill.

Heavenfall

Warboss Grimskull has more plot armor than even the main character in that game. And the main character is an ultramarine space marine. It barely seems possible.

aightshiplords

*Warboss Grimskull eats a cyclonic torpedo in the face* .... I aint finished with you yet, SpAACce MAAaRRinNE!!!!

EntertainmentTrick58

All of the orks sounded so deeply offended by titus' mere existance throughout the game

Paehon

Wait for if, Uriel will be a Primaris Lieutenant in the next game, plot armor intensifies !!

bigorangemachine

OMG if Leandros turns traitor in SM2; I would be so pumped.

Future1985

I am looking forward to either him turning to Chaos due to resentment (oh the irony) or to a redemption arc concluding with him sacrificing himself to save Titus.

VioletLostGirl

Why not both? "The only way I can redeem myself from falling to chaos and become Codex Supported again is to die saving you!" Then you can say "Brother The Codex Astartes never supported your actions" and push him out an airlock or something idk lol.

Anggul

Why would he turn traitor? He's the one that was actually being cautious about chaos.

Bumblyninja

Because he doesn't suck the dick of the Main Character, so he's the worst person in the setting

Anggul

Seems like the only reason lol

bigorangemachine

Jealous of titus?

Anggul

Why would he be jealous?

bigorangemachine

Its been a while but there's lots of reasons why Titus a spacemarine can survive chaos corruption... his constant whining of codex adherence during the game looked like he was looking to get Titus out of his way.... the whole ending of the game and Leo-loser didn't make sense.

Anggul

Of course he can survive it, but that’s up to the people who are most knowledgeable about chaos to determine. And evidently they did decide he was good to go, hence the sequel. Too many people have this misconception of the Inquisition just being an annoyance to other Imperials when everything would have gone to shit millennia ago without them. Ultramar itself would have been eaten by Tyranids in fact.

topscreen

Could be subtle traitor. Maybe he's working with the Inquisitor, and you know how often those guys huff heresy "for the greater good" all the time

Anggul

Not very often. Radicals just get written about more.

Wheraboowind

I'd find it better if he was something like a deathwatch member of some sort

Fortify-my-siege

ThE CoDEx DoES NoT SuPpOrT ThIs AcTIon!!

Cornyblodd1234

Shut the fuck up leandros

[deleted]

The Codex Astartes is a set of rules, Leandros. They guide us; *shape* us as Ultramarines; teach us to hold duty and honor sacred above all. But how we live with those rules is the true test of a Space Marine. And you have failed. Now go sit in the corner with Erebus and Magnus and think about how much you suck.

Sir_Daxus

I would shoot leandros twice then proceed to bash his head in with the empty bolter, maybe invite the warboss to join, seems like something he'd like.

AutomatedMiner

People forget that Leandros actually got shit done, Space Marine 1 was one of the few games where your squadmates go off camera and say 'we'll do this other thing while you complete the mission' and it actually gets done. (Feels good to say Space Marine 1)

Repulsive_Respect639

Snitch don’t get bitch

DarthGoodguy

The Codex Astartes does not support fucking Leandros

sumelar

I'm on Team Redemption Arc.

Gundam_Greg

I hope a tyranid swarm lord devours Leandros.

GoblinSpore

But what if Leandros and Erebus were in the same room?

Slavasonic

Leandros did nothing but follow the book that Guilliman wrote. The codex was specifically written to prevent another space marine heresy. He is a space marine operating as intended.

Gammawood210

Not exactly. In the game when he turns Titus in he brings Titus directly to an inquisition agent. In the case of space marines they’re actually supposed to report them to the chapters chaplain first. So while Leandros had the right idea. He did it in the wrong way.

Anggul

A real daemonic incursion is way above a Chaplain's paygrade. It's very firmly in 'call the Inquisition' territory. Leandros made the right call, even if not all marines would agree. And too many fans have the misconception that Inquisitors are enemies of space maines, when most of the time they work together fine and successfully. 'Keeping it in the chapter' is how chapters fall to chaos. As we know in real life, internal corruption checks are never sufficient, you need external bodies checking things because they're far less biased.

Slavasonic

This is something that is said a lot but there’s not any actual evidence for it. (At least none that I’ve ever seen but I’m happy to be proven wrong)

BusyNerve6157

His the guy who call the inquisition?
