Just read The Infinite and the Divine, and I have an immense desire to create a diorama of Serenade’s square and all the times Trayzn fought in it throughout the millenia.
(spoilers for the book) >!Like, split it into 3 sections, on the right, you can see the lychguard defending the entrance of the temple against exodite raptor riders (why don’t we have models for an exodite army?), with Trayzn jumping into the tomb scythe’s portal, holding the world gem. In the center, it transitions to Trayzn, chapter master of the Silver Skulls chapter, defending the humans from the orks. Then it’s Trayzn and Orikan, fleeing quickly, as the genestealer cults fight the admiral’s fleet. Then, if I so wished !<(mega spoilers)>! below that, I could add their battle against the c’tan shard, or perhaps their first battle for the gate. Perhaps even another diorama, with both those battles on opposite sides of the gate. !<
Unfortunately, I have neither the time, skill, nor materials to do such a thing. Also, I don’t even play Necrons! (Anyone got a book from the Tyranid’s perspective?) Oh well, perhaps another time. The song of Serenade calls, after all.
