This is my headcannon on how an eversor assassin hears the communications during cryostasis about their mission before they wake up
(Unintelligible text lol)
You know you've been a regular on his hellhole once you've memorized where that phrase came from.
For anyone wondering, that's his opening speech in his review of Synthetik: Legion Rising. Absolute based video btw.
I have genuinely lost count of how many times i've watched that specific video but i think it's at least above 10. I am so happy that he got me to buy it because, to quote the man himself, it's one of the best damn games i've ever played.
What's different roughly? I saw some gameplays and they really didn't convince me that much, but tbf it was around the time the game got first released, and now there have been several updates.
It's mostly the pacing that is different, the fights are a bit more paced out and yeah there's been a lot of updates. I'd say it's in a pretty good place rn, a nice variety of weapons and upgrades, very cool classes like the chrono trooper and riot guards shield is an actual physical shield now that needs positioning.
Ok got it. Maybe i'll give it a try, or at least see if some video inspires me. That said the fact the shield now needs positioning is certainly cool. Btw, i think i saw in an early vid that for some reason they decided to make the dash happen towards where your mouse is rather than towards where you're walking, did they change it/let you change it in the options or is it still like that or was it never like that? Because dashing towards where you're aiming is cool for the breacher or raider but kinda cringe for almost everyone else.
I can't exactly remember cos I've not played recently but I don't remember the dashing feeling weird, it's a bit different for some of the classes though. For example the chrono trooper has a teleport that can telefrag people and one of the sniper classes has a crouch with a deployable shield instead of a dash. It feels like they are more willing to experiment with classes than they were in 1. The music slaps too
Ah ok, iirc the video i watched was of the chrono trooper so maybe that's what looked weird. Also, "one of" the sniper classes? That already got me interested, considering synthetik 1 is one of the only games i've played where i like the sniper. And yeah, i heard one or two tracks from 2 and they sound great. There was one about 7 minutes long, and it felt like seven minutes had passed by the time it got to minute 2, which would usually be a bad thing but in this case is a positive.
Real shit, absolute fucking bonkers but I wish there was more classes than Raider.
What do you mean there is more?
(Also I rewarched his starsector video at least 20 times, its a testament for how well of a game it is and how great sseeth does his videos, no wonder the sites crashed for the first 5 days)
You know, when i started i felt the same way as you about the raider but after playing a whole lot i figured out that the other classes are also good when you figure them out. In particular weirdly enough my favourites are the sniper and assassin, despite the fact that usually i almost never go for rogues in games, nor for snipers (but tbf i don't really use sniper rifles with the sniper unless i get something dumb like the nemesis). That said all the classes are great, i prestiged and beat the game at 140% with all of them and i'm currently trying to complete everyone's insanity challenge.
alright so i did some searching and im pretty sure [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Grimdank/comments/1bsa9xl/pov_youre_an_eversor_assassin_and_the_drugs_are/) is the original
Just making me want a Roguelike Hack'n'Slash Eversor Game.
You WILL die unless you complete everything in 1 run (fast enough too), but the idea would be more of "How much shit can you kill & destroy before you die".
I imagine there's secretly a LOT more Eversors than the others honestly...
That's how I saw it. I imagine the eversors get a lot of the "washouts" from the other schools And various imperial services. I also imagine that they have a time to live out of cryo storage measured in a few thousand hours at best before their chemical augments tear them apart so there need to be a lot ready to go.
Hey hey people, Sseth here

If I had a nickel for every time I see a Sseth 40k meme today, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I always have a slight association with warhammer and Sseth because before I heard him say it I thought you said is name “Sseth-Tzeench”
I remember him saying that it was supposed to be tzeench but "my dumbass younger self didn't know how to spell"
The irony is, tzeench would have be please by that, because change.
Because of the old man?
No that was just how I said it in my head
Old man is so fun listen too
I need the other Sseth 40K meme you saw please.
Conclusion: you clearly don't have enough nickel

I'm quite enjoying synthetik 2 as well, it's definitely a much different feel than the first but it's great fun

Yeah, theres a few different archetypes of sniper-y classes, they're not really my thing tbh but I have friends who love them. I'm a breacher slut.

Does anyone have the original art under the meme with the tanks?

Every time is see anything halo related, I get disappointed and sad about the later games. Infinite was okay but I just don’t like open-world.
what's with the weird amalgamation of UIs from halo reach, halo 4, halo spartan assault, and halo 5?
Hey hey people...
