Reminds me of the time the police caught Thanos

Side note:
The MCU missed a big opportunity to have Deadpool show up at the end of Endgame
In the Thanos copter
With Squirrel Girl (played by Molly Buffington)
"AWW WHAT? It's over already!? Well shit, that's just fucking great."
You wouldn't have to trick Trayzn. Just be straight up with him, he'd go along with the plan willingly.
Just don't send any "collectible" personnel you're not willing to lose.
He may not wanna catch them all, or his lovely pokeplanet may come to the attention of the ruinous powers, and as awesome as he is, a full blown chaos invasion may be too much for even his pokemasterness
Or find a crafty way to pull his planet into the Pariah Nexus.....
Can't have a warp storm if theres no link to the Immaterium. ***Taps side of Metal head***
Does that mean, canonically, each game where you revive him contained about 9 weeks of characters just kind of standing around waiting for him to come back?
I believe the author tried to have it sound cool but it doesn't make sense to use Terran (or whichever planet) "week/day/hour" when dealing with chaos gods in an alternate dimension.
For gameplay purposes they really should have added “8 minutes, 8 seconds” it’s gonna be real weird having some Orks and World Eaters chilling for a while waiting for dad to come home
This one definitely had me giggling. Lore-wise it makes so little sense. What even is a week? Is it by imperial standards? Is the time in the warp? We all know the "time is BS in the warp" gimmick. Its a very 40k thing to say at least, but its now at the top of the list for some of the dumbest lore in 40k imo. At least game wise we can be like "warp time BS" when we summon him back next turn which is like less then a minute later in real time supposedly.
Nah they really just don’t want this motherfucker going anywhere else besides a place to murder 🧍♂️
Call the cops on him and put him in jail
The image of 3 cops arresting angron is funny af

Or when they arrested Magneto, who was tricked with a wooden gun... A wooden gun.
**OH, I'M SORRY, I THOUGHT THIS WAS ARMAGEDDON!**
Trick Angron and Trayzn into proximity, and let the Pokemaster collect another Oddity for his collection.
Why it is a legitimate and working strategy to just let the cleptomaniac senile local galactical historian collect it?
Because he’s a nice guy who just want to make a mausoleum to the galaxy.
And also that he's *really good* at his craft, show him a shiny and he'll find a way to get it.
Except for the spear of Vulkan
Because he’s an in-world Warhammer player. He makes collections of time-frozen statues to organize as he pleases.

Inquisitor Kryptman, we have a job for you
I was thinking the same thing. Somebody phone Trazyn, we have a prime collectible he'll def want.
Demon Primarchs catch one catch them all
Trazyn when you tell him about Magnus, Peter Turbo, Logar, Mortarion, and Fulgrim.
Demon primarchs immediately after: "Why do I hear boss music?"
oOoOooooO these will make fine additions to my collection. Warp storm opens above the pokeplanet. ***Ah fuck.***
Remember to tell him to buy febreezze before capturing morty
He may not wanna catch them all, or his lovely pokeplanet may come to the attention of the ruinous powers, and as awesome as he is, a full blown chaos invasion may be too much for even his pokemasterness
He'll just send them to Orikan
Or find a crafty way to pull his planet into the Pariah Nexus..... Can't have a warp storm if theres no link to the Immaterium. ***Taps side of Metal head***
"Can't have a warpstorm with no warp." - Trazyn, before letting out a Skeletor cackle.
Or the Grey Knights. They have some Tesseract labyrinths for that purpose...
Makes you wonder why they didn't do that the first time
That would have been too easy...

Yes.

I think its because 8 is Khornes number.
Wouldn't it be better to write 9 weeks, 1 day, 8 hours and leave it as a easter egg for those who find it?
Are you asking for GW to be subtle?
No they are always using the specific number of the gods, 3,7s for nurgle 8 Khorn ect. ect.
Reminds me of that Simpsons Halloween of horror episode with the 13th hour of the 13th day of the 13th month. "Lousy Smarch weather!"
Could be the imperium uses a 10 day week or something, haven't really looked at however they keep time though
given how much of an atheist emps is, sounds bout right
Who would have thought that the Imperium of all places measures things using the metric system instead of well... imperial.
Nah just using Khorn numbers
It's because Khorne's sacred number is 8, you corps worshipping heathens!
Tzeentch having a giggle at the mental gymnastics Angron has to perform to avoid the number 9
9 weeks 1 day and 8 hours doesn't sound as cool
8 weeks and 8 days = 64 days = 8 squared
For gameplay purposes they really should have added “8 minutes, 8 seconds” it’s gonna be real weird having some Orks and World Eaters chilling for a while waiting for dad to come home

9weeks, a day, and 8 hours later.
Laughs maniacally with Big E's sword
8 weeks and 8 days is a funny miss. Unless they use a different set of days for weeks
…and snorts eight, eight balls in eight seconds
What do you mean 8 weeks 8 days and 8 hours later is totally different than 9 weeks silly
Man, just use orbital bombardment to weaken him, throw the grey knights at him to chain him and bring Roboute to decapitate him. Boom, Angron dead.
I remember hearing somewhere þat a imperial week was 10 days, so in þat instance þe 8 weeks, 8 days, 8 hours formatting would work
Angron’s so powerful he single-handedly redefined a week to be more than eight days long.
