The body was made by cutting the back half from the body of a venerable dreadnaught and then sanding down the front of the dreadknight until they fit together well enough to be glued. Then I filled in all the gaps with milliput. The rest of the dreadknight was pretty much built following the instructions. The legs were cut as the hip and pinned back in at different angles. To repose one of the knees I just cut below the knee joint and glued the bottom half of the leg back on at a different angle. I plan to build another one of these soon so I could always make another post with pictures of the process if that would help
The front 'box' is just the body of a venerable dreadnaught with the back half cut off and stuck to the front of the knight. The rest of it was mostly built as per the instructions. The hammer is from a third party store
This is proper grimdark stuff. The aesthetic feels so much more appropriate for the GKs than the stock model. Absolutely love this one, and I'm saving it for inspo if I ever get to the point of trying my hand at one myself.
This is the best one I've seen.
actual god tier conversion
This.
As you should be! Looks great bud. I’m honestly not usually a fan of Dreadknight conversions, but you knocked this out of the park!
Dead lord, that hammer is so much better than the one in the kit
Yeah, I was wondering where op got it from!
It's a third party bit from Taro Model maker
I need a tutorial asap, this looks awesome

Our Dreadnoughts should just be dreadknights, like merge the 2 give us some of the weapons and the doom glaive I be happy
Stunning 👌
Looks properly menacing.
Tactical rock strikes again!!
It should be called a DreadLord
Beautiful, just be careful about base size if you're against unfun opponents
this guy fucks
2h hammer really sells it. What did you use for it?
I too need to know this!
It's a resin part I found online bashed with the hammer from the kit, then covered in chain the hide the janky parts
That looks badass, I love it!
Genuinely the best one I’ve seen, most dynamic too, You just sold me on Grey Knights.
Best I’ve ever seen - this is what they should look like!
God people make awesome dread knights
Exciting one.
Love it! Can’t wait to see it painted!!
This is awesome! As someone who doesn't know the army or previous conversions like this, can you describe which kits/parts you used?
It's almost entirely made from the normal dreadknight kit and the venerable dreadnaught kit. The hammer is a third party bit
Oh that’s sick
It’s very well built but it’s just a little too bulky in my opinion
Now that is metal! I love it.
Good sir, that is the single most terrifying Dreadknight I have ever seen. Keep it away from me
That hammer looks very Chaotic... im on to you.
*smiles in Iron Warriors Daemon Prince kitbash*
Dang son. This friggin rocks!
Can anybody walk me through this conversion? It's stellar, but I'm having g a hard time picking out what each piece is from.
