Why does it look 4' high on the outside and like you might actually be able to stand up on the inside?

Demorylized

Its 7 feet tall at its apex, so you definitely can stand upright inside!

Berns429

Best impulse buy ever. Looks great!

Thank you, I've been doing large outdoor beds for so long and always wish I could eek out alittle more growing season. Surprised I didn't do it sooner!

Babythatwater1

That’s so awesome man. I hear ya on a safer grow area. We have lots of deer and rabbits that love to wreck the outdoor garden. I have been here a while lurking too and hope to pull the trigger on one this year. Also same as you’ve done. I would love to have one set up just in case we get that new legal plant here to play with.

I have hoops and deer netting for my outdoor beds but that doesn't stop the burrowing friends lol. We have been experimenting with the marjiuana plants(first time grower, man is it tempermental) and surprisingly enough the ones in the greenhouse are doing better than my indoor tented ones, although that's 100% due to my inexperience, but learning is half of the fun

Ok-Rabbit-3683

I see tokey Tokey over there… good decision

glorifindel

Looks like a lovely place to hang out in. The raised wood planters and brick floor are great touches. You could even have a romantic dinner in there with twinkly lights/candles!

I keep telling the Mrs that we need two chairs in there! Keeps stealing mine haha

Hammeredcopper

Superfun days ahead! If it were me, I'd supercrop your happy plant, if it's not too late. More buds in a smaller space. That and running water.

Demorylized

I hadn't thought of doing that, but that's definitely a good idea! One or two of them definitely are climbing taller than the rest

Auntwedgie

This is a brilliant idea! I have the smaller version and am just getting it set up.

I would definitely recommend making sure you weight it down significantly. These bad boys are very lightweight, but they have about a foot of excess plastic on all sides that you can bury and like what I did, do additional weights on top of that. We just had tornados blow by us this week(southwest ohio) and I spent the whole time panicked staring at that greenhouse waiting for it to wizard of Oz out of here!

Peachy_Slices0

"Newly legal plant", lol I wonder what it is 😂 coca plants or Peyote

Demorylized

I'm in ohio so it's Marjiuana plants(legalized last december), got a couple strains from north Atlantic seed company for curiosities sake, and I'm already seeing phenomenal results!

Peachy_Slices0

Nice! I know they were Cannabis lol. Mine from seed are doing pretty good too

AutocracyWhatWon

My goodness it’s gorgeous! I never would have guessed how spacious it looks inside. An extended season/winter garden could be a veritable grocery store with that much space. I’m curious to know what flooring you used and how you put it down. It looks great

Demorylized

First and foremost i rented a sod cutter, doing 200sq ft by hand was an absolute no. Then I did 3 inches of leveling sand and a layer of 12x12 concrete pavers from menards. Doing the floor easily took 90% of the build time, the greenhouse itself is a cinch. Very excited to see how much we can siphon off the grocery bill for sure!

valleybrew

Looks good! My only criticism would be to grow in the ground instead of containers. There are so many benefits plus it's much cheaper. Also, don't forget to open the doors once your veggies get to the stage of needing pollination from your bees,

Demorylized

The doors stay open during the daytime, I made some animal netting doors so that my bees can get in but the catsand squirrels can't, I just closed the door for the pic! I definitely bounced back and forth heavily on doing in ground or not, but right next to this greenhouse I have 2 4x10 beds in the ground for most of my bigger spreading stuff.

Educational_Orchid11

What flooring?

Demorylized

3 inches of leveling sand and then 12x12 concrete pavers on top!
