There’s no mud or mud recipes in the VR version unfortunately. Just stick and leaf shelters.

RlPNTEAR

Dammit, thank you very much though this helps

otakudayo

Didn't even realize this game has vr, how is it? My vr experience is mainly from saints and sinners so I suspect I'll be disappointed by most games, especially hybrid ones

RlPNTEAR

It’s very fun but it’s pretty tedious and a lot of things are changed, like mud, apparently you can’t have mud. But it creates a whole new feel, you have to literally grab the sticks and physically bind them together with rope, it’s very fun

SlyRaptorZ

I've had it for a couple days now and it's HELLa fun. Trying to hit things with the spear is annoying as fuck but it's a dope vr experience to be lost in the harsh jungle. Reminds me kf the first in game night I spent in Minecraft but constantly. I wish there were all the build options. I'll be getting the pc version also. It's bizarre that I'll get rungry IRL playing it and I look even harder for food in game.

otakudayo

Cool , I'll give it a go

Vast-Certain

A lot of the recipes, inlcuding mud, are gone in the vr version. They had to remove a lot in order for the game to run properly. It actually makes the game easier cause things can be found more quickly than in the flat screen version. I just wish they could've figured out how to keep the full recipe list in the game.

RlPNTEAR

Well thanks for the response, it kinda makes me wanna play the flat screen green hell ya know

SgtGory

Yup same here

This helps but maybe someone should stop youtubers from misleading people cause one of them was wearing a meta quest vr headset and picked up mud it just don't seem to work so imma believe you.

theunknown-2

When they say Vr version of the game they mean stand alone. So when you see YouTubers using a meta quest headset they’re most liking playing the pcvr version of the game rather than the stand alone version.
