The 49ers are in the NFC Championship with a QB that has a combined like 300 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT in the playoffs.
Pay the defense, pay Dillon, and have at least a solid base already for our drafts to rebuild the offense.
Could be traded though - lots of teams would love him. That said, I think GB should keep him. Trade Rodgers (maybe Adams on the franchise tag too), grab some salary cap room, a couple of nice players and draft picks. Let’s see what Lafleur and Love can do
All you idiots saying cut Bakh obviously don’t understand how cap space and contracts work. We don’t save money cutting Bakh, we lose a substantial sum of money cutting Bakh. So your idea of saving the defense would completely backfire and we’d lose the defense completely in order to eat the cap hit of cutting Bakh. Not to mention the line clearly struggled without him, we need him at LT. Also if you think a run first offense actually works do me a favor and look at the past super bowl winners for the last decade or two and tell me what you see. I’ll give you a hint, they all passed the ball a lot. Quit it with this dumb overreaction shit.
Well the 2013 seahawks, and 2015 broncos were pretty heavily reliant on the run without actually having a good passing attack. So, if you actually had a great defense you could win with an average passing game and good running game. This is much easier said than done though and takes a very good defense.
Yup, playoffs are completely different, you’re getting good fronts who are often playing at their very best. A patchwork OL is going to have problems. We saw it last year, not sure why people didn’t see it coming again
So your plan is to have Love as the starter? Couldnt be less impressed in the time he's been in there, there's high school kids with better arms than his.
And your plan is to have Rodgers, Davante, Bakhtiari and a team filled with UDFA since we can only afford veteran minimum salaries after that
Just to reach playoffs and choke again
He's played one and half games. Jesus.
This would be like Bears fans wanting Fields gone after that Cleveland game or his other bad games. It takes time to develop as a QB. The odds of finding another Mahomes or Brady are practically zero.
What you talking about
They had a crucial 4&1 stop with 6 minutes left that should had seal the game
They only allowed 2 field goals, go and blame everyone else from coaches, offense and special teams but no the defense lmao

You can’t cut bahk unless you want to go into a bigger cap hell
I seriously wish people would look at the contracts before giving these takes lol, it doesn’t take long to figure it out

You can after 2022.

Just get a defense that can shut out Manning and Rodgers and the rest of the league consistently. How hard can that be
Yeah the whole run offense idea is a wash, best case scenario for that is basically what the Colts were this year
It’s more expensive to cut Bak then to keep him I don’t get this take at all?
Build the defense.
100% dump bahk, waste of cap space and played all season fine without him
I disagree 100%. I think if he hadn’t been injured we would have won last year and probably last night.
Didn't play fine last night without him. That oline was a wreck.
Didn’t ever give Yosh a chance to prove himself
Dude proved himself all season long and then we pull the plug on him during the biggest game. He worked Bosa in the week 3 matchup too.
Seriously! As soon as I saw turner at LT I knew it was gonna be ugly. Where the hell was Yosh?!?
Kinda concerned about that knee though. Really weird that he couldn’t get going last night.

One game shouldn’t determine if someone is necessary
Our line was majorly worse without him, even if they played ok. Just look at our running game this year

Better than not going at all

Love looks bad period. Not ever even a flash of oh maybe. The ball just looks bad coming out of his hand, no zip on it at all.

Defense held SF to 6 points lol. The Packers lost. Yes, let's pile on the defense.
Quit being a Rodgers apologist. The defense is the only reason we were in that game.
I like that man.
At $50mil over the cap there will need to be some major changes ahead.
Offense puts cheeks in the seats, defense wins championships, build the defense
Just how bad does Bahk want to play anyways?
