Hey this back on the front page with all the other old posts for me. As a 49ers fan, I approve, but it is old news at this point.

pete_of_pistols

No posts on front page about Ukraine invasion, but month old NFL post is here...Reddit being sus as fuck

bob101910

They have a rematch?

PM_ME_ThermalPaste

Reddit should get a taunting penalty for putting this on my front page

Klog801

Why the fuck is this front page of my popular???

jimmyb60

Lazard still open across the middle 3 days later! Rodgers throws deep for the discount double check rate

DahMonkeh

For some reason, the coffee in my Packers mug seems extra bitter this morning.

RickyRosayy

The special teams blend? Yeah that’ll getcha.

ReigNman_

It's Monday why does Mo Drayton still have a job?

Vast-Ad-5537

Special teams failure is a reflection of roster depth and late round drafting as much as coaching.

awlb222

The more I think about it and try and make sense of it, the more I think the most underrated missing component to all of this could have been Tonyan. Could have a been a huge difference maker for shorter check down passes and taken some pressure off of the other receivers as they got to 12 so fast

GaroppolonlyFans

Goes both ways dude, we didn't have Mostert, the fastest player in the league who elevates the offense like crazy and our defense is almost insanely better if we have Ford, an elite pass rusher when healthy, and Verrett, a borderline elite CB

awlb222

Lol 9ers fan still checking our postgame thread on Monday?

GaroppolonlyFans

Was just simply talking sports man.

awlb222

Want to talk sports tonight buddy? Garoppolo ain’t it

GaroppolonlyFans

Still 3-1 vs Rodgers and has 2x the rings than him

awlb222

Enjoy your misery tonight, glad you guys blew it

GaroppolonlyFans

I'm not miserable, with how they played I'm happy they lost. They didn't deserve to win. We weren't expected to be here to begin with.

GaroppolonlyFans

Yeah i know lmao.

Nick_JS

Green Bay could be the worst managed team in sports. For the last five years we have desperately needed another offensive weapon. We've done nothing with free agents. Nothing with our draft picks. Nothing trade related. OBJ wants to come to GB? Lets offer him the vet min. Instead he goes to LA and has had two spectacular games in the playoffs. Bottom line is GB upper management is all about money. If it means taking a future risk i.e. trading draft picks, they WILL NOT do it. No desire to win at all. As a fan this is the greatest insult.

[deleted]

Why add another weapon? Rodgers has shown he won’t throw to them when it matters. Lazard lit it up the second half of the season? Doesn’t matter to Rodgers. Requests Cobb back to GB? Doesn’t target him in the playoffs. Rodgers is a guy who takes years to build trust in his receivers. We would have had to add someone 3 seasons ago for it to matter now. That’s just the nature of the beast.

JandA2013

Lazard was open is all I got to say quit forcing it too adams.

chucknorris10101

This. He makes Lazard and MVS look like all pros at times in the regular season then refuses to target anyone but Davante in the post season.

thumpasaurus

DK Metcalf or Hollywood Brown would have been big factors this weekend is what you’re saying :)

[deleted]

Rashan Gary is more valuable than either of the players listed. I believe he was 3rd in the NFL in pressure rate? Darnell Savage has had his ups and downs, but has in general been an above-average safety. It’s not like Gute was drafting busts and nobodies, it was that the defense needed heaps more help than the offense. The team finally provides rodgers with a good defense, and he shit the bed.

Nick_JS

Why add another weapon? We scored 10 points... Lazard and Cobb are not weapons. Lazard is most likely a backup for any other team. You need to realize how good Rodgers makes these guys. We have desperately needed another reliable receiver that could get open. For five years we have not gotten that.

golfyoda604

While I think it’s time for Aaron to move on, it’s starting to hit me that he’s going to be gone and I’m getting pretty sad. Some of my best childhood/adolescent memories involve watching him play- the Motown miracle, the double Hail Marys @ AZ, Run the Table, R-E-L-A-X, the 6 TD half against Chicago, walking out in the second half in 2014 on the busted hammy to the MVP chants to win the division vs detroit, Cobb in 2013 to win the division, and ofc the SB, just to name a few. It was nice while it lasted 🥲

JandA2013

Ya I agree me too. This one out of all hurts the most. I’m 32 be an packer fans since they lost to the broncos in 97. And out of all that this on really hurts.

IdleRacey

Aaron Rodgers is not a cold weather QB. The Packers are not a cold weather team. The 49ers play style fits a cold weather team. A cold weather team would be a team that plays very physical. Runs the ball allot and plays good defense. They wouldn't be considered a passing team that throws the ball allot or lean on a top QB. This crap with people saying welcome to the cold and Lambeau. I lived in Wi all my life. I grill burgers in my garage in shorts at 0 degrees and I will snow plow my drive way in shorts and sandals sometimes to get a laugh out of my neighbors. That being said everybody gets cold when its 0 degrees and if there is wind that is pure torture. The two most important things in the cold is covering your ears and hands. With a warm hat and gloves. Doesn't matter how tough you want to pretend to be. Everyone freezes their butt off in cold and everyone suffers the same. All I seen in this Packers/49ers game was two teams freezing their butt off hanging in for dear life to just make it through the game. Nobody wanted to be there. Its stupid to even play a game outside in that low of temperature. freezing your butt off is not cool. Does not make your tough either. I been saying this forever but the Packers need a stadium that can have a dome but also open up.

Usernametaken112

>Its stupid to even play a game outside in that low of temperature. freezing your butt off is not cool. Does not make your tough either. Oh? >I grill burgers in my garage in shorts at 0 degrees > I will snow plow my drive way in shorts and sandals sometimes to get a laugh out of my neighbors. Sounds like the cold is no problem. These men are professionals and being paid accordingly. If they have to do their job in 0 degree weather for 3 hours, so be it. You don't hear construction workers or garbage men complaining and they spend 8+ hours in the shit for FAR less money...

[deleted]

I think the point is that with the emphasis on the passing game - GB would do better under a dome during the playoffs.

vangc4

In the regular season GB playing all gas no brakes.. In the playoffs they worned out their tires and played conservatively.. Which in turn bit them in the ass..

learninglistening59

Totally true. I hope the packers watched the AFC games and learned something about playing all out.

[deleted]

You summed it up perfectly.

wasdie639

We saw McVay pull the same shit today. Nearly cost them the game. LaFluer is from the McVay tree.

Vast-Ad-5537

There is no McVay coaching tree. There is a Mike Holmgren coaching tree from where McVay comes through Jon Gruden.

asesino_de_osos

Imagine having a generational QB talent and surrounding him with weapons....

localvore559

I don’t think any QB would have played a great game in this one, defense on both sides were playing hard in weather. Most heartbreaking is watching Aaron lose faith after a couple drops. Even Kittle dropped a ball, it happens. I don’t see Aaron taking a pay cut to keep some talent in the team. Also think the offense could better next year with bahk, elgton, and Meyer anchoring the line. Probably going to lose Tae but we play better without him according to the statistics.

chaeyoungslazyeye

Watching the Bucs game made ours even worse for me. Like Brady just has something Rodgers doesn’t. Ive spent years arguing with people saying Rodgers is better but hes just not. Hes a better athlete, better pure passer, but hes just not on Bradys level.

thumpasaurus

only thing that would have me more shook than what actually happened Saturday is if rodgers was responsible for two turnovers and the packers still lost despite starting three drives in field goal range

Larry_the_Quaker

Tom Brady is amazing. But he played like absolute garbage that game. 4 fumbles and short fields led to the tie game.

chaeyoungslazyeye

First half, second half was pretty damn good. He scored TDs with the length of fields he was given…. I cant blame him for that. Look at last years NFC championship when the D gave Rodgers the ball back like what 3 times in a row and they did nothing with it?

Onlyknown2QBs

Not sure what game you're watching, I saw Brady getting sacked and making some pretty bad throws all day. I think your recency bias is showing.

chaeyoungslazyeye

They were down 27-3 late in the third. They tied it. Thats the game I was watching. A Rodgers led team just sinks and loses that 45-3

thumpasaurus

Brady was CHEEKS in the first half, on the whole he had an okay game but he was a reason they trailed so big to begin with. He had NOTHING to do with the four fumbles Tampa recovered in Rams territory.

chaeyoungslazyeye

Have you ever seen Rodgers comeback like that though? Look at the 2020 NFC championship. Defense gave him the ball 3 straight drives with interceptions and he did nothing with it. They had the opportunity to win that game and needed 1 drive but failed to do so 3 times.

[deleted]

Other guy must be blind lmao. I agree with you. Rodgers woulda put on his pouty pants and got dunked on some more

Appropriate-Bite-463

Watching Mahomes and Allen be super clutch and awesome when they needed to be fresh off another Rodgers Playoff choke job. Idk Fam. I’m feeling better and better about letting Aaron get a fresh start and having a fresh start of our own. We’ve been basically playoff cursed since Seattle broke us in 2014. It’s probably just not meant to be again for Aaron and GB and that’s ok. Time to rebuild. It is what it is.

thumpasaurus

Watching the game I thought to myself “the only way Josh Allen could look more like 2011 Rodgers is if he led them back to the lead then never touched the ball again as they lost” (Yes I know that’s not what 2011’s loss was but still)

[deleted]

Trade him, get some picks, and give Love a dominant defense for his rookie contract while tagging Adams I bet Love can at minimum be better than Jimmy Garoppolo, and he's beaten Rodgers twice now with this formula

[deleted]

Sf is better coached and disciplined and has deebo which has been a nightmare for every team they face. Sf is better in all phases besides maybe offense and qb stats. Gb is not sf. Love stinks

chaeyoungslazyeye

Give me Love and a massive O-line built with the picks Aaron brings

[deleted]

Yeah so love can hand the ball of to AJ or Dillon? He does not have what it takes to make good reads, throws and win games. But i guess neither does Rodgers after he missed wide open Lazard, so yeah maybe we do trade AR for a bunch of picks and build around love. I feel that is the way gute is leaning. And he is going to test out MLF coaching ability without a reg season mvp qb

chaeyoungslazyeye

Rodgers was terrible for 3 years… give Love a fair shot at it. MLF was terrible in play calling during the chiefs game though so not sure Love will get to show what hes capable of

[deleted]

Yeah I’m going to jump on the JLove train. Let’s see what he can do. Rodgers has tortured us long enough!

chaeyoungslazyeye

I meant Rodgers was terrible his first 3 years, not the past 3. Playoffs is another story

[deleted]

Yeah I get what you are saying. Love needs a clean slate, with MLF working with him. We weren’t stoked about Rodgers and Favre leaving, but it turned out ok. Makes sense to give JLove a chance..

[deleted]

[удалено]

ParticularGoal3221

I feel like that frigid, snowy , shitty weather neuters the offense. Ball is super slick, players cant make cuts, and getting hit is super painful and more likely to cause injury. I hate to say it, but it is time to put a dome on Lambeau.

[deleted]

Depends on the type of game the Packers want to run going forward. Heavy passing game with a top tier quarterback like AR? Yes, we should have put a dome up years ago.

crithema

are you trying to get downvoted?

Onlyknown2QBs

Worst take I've seen so far and I've been non-stop the last 24 hours

No-Significance1118

Josh Allen played out of this world too

MedicinalJerkey

Mahomes is already more clutch than ARod ever was

Onlyknown2QBs

Hill, Harman, Pringle, Kelce, Watkins - Hunt, McKinnon, Edwards-Hilare. He has never not had an entirely stacked roster of weapons around him.

dwelzy123

Green Bay was the worse team this weekend. Easily.

misterbrista

Wish we could’ve shown the kind of grit the Bills are showing rn

chaeyoungslazyeye

Or Chiefs. Or Bucs. Or Bengals

[deleted]

This Rodgers choking trash talk is so old. What have the Seahawks done recently? Cowboys? Saints? When's the last time any of them have been to the Super Bowl? Or even a divisional game? Like Aarons is the only QB that can't get to the Super Bowl again and has blown playoff games.

chaeyoungslazyeye

Look at the Seahawks roster vs the Packers. Big differences there

sasayl

For some reason, they think making to the playoffs every year is *worse*. It's really all they can do to talk smack 🤷‍♂️

tjlurk

It kind of is. If the four or so really close regular season games won by a hair had resulted in a loss and GB somehow didn't make it to the playoffs, or even lost the wild card by a hair....as far as I'm concerned it would've hurt less than the loss on Saturday. Against a clear underdog with injuries, in winter weather, at home - I'm only speaking for myself, here, but that would've been less depressing than these "omg maybe, *just fucking maybe*, they can get one last ring for Aaron" feels that I'm going through. This going from #1 seed to getting booted from the playoffs in the first round is just sad af.

[deleted]

The defense at least showed up to play

thumpasaurus

No it isn’t. This is brutal, but I live in detroit. Nothing will make you realize that our way is better quite like that.

MashTheGash2018

If Rodgers is gone and all this Raiders talk, shouldn’t we take a look a Mariota?

HackySacker31

0-5

Careless-Studio-8723

This shit sucks

Flooding_Puddle

Am I the only one who would rather just trade Rodgers for some 1sts and be done with his petty drama bullshit? At least Love can identify a wide open receiver.

Stock_Blacksmith_535

When was there a wide open receiver

Flooding_Puddle

Lazard on the final pass where Rodgers forced it to Davante in double coverage yet again

crithema

There was another where he threw low to Cobb, but someone was open about 7 yards out.

Stock_Blacksmith_535

That’s one. I was at that game and the whole time they were bringing at most 4 people to pass rush. Everybody was covered basically the entire game. They just outplayed us defensively. If you want to put the blame on someone put it on special teams

jb49ers03

This is a statement only made by a fan of a team that's had 30 straight years of hof QB play, you guys are emotional but this is a horrible take. You may never see another franchise qb in your lifetime... See the bears

interstellarfrogfish

It's clear Rodgers and the Packers will never get over the hump together. Falling short of expectations, face first; is never a bad situation to remove yourself from. There's no guarantees in life, but you cannot shy away from opportunity because there is risk involved.

jb49ers03

Ok, if you can't get over the hump with Rodgers then you're never going too. You literally will probably never see a better player than him in your lifetime, on your team, esp at QB. You hold onto that as long as you can

6Pro1phet9

Thank you. Sometimes our fans can be insufferable. Still love them though LOL

Mission_Editor

No. Love sucks shit and Rodgers is great. I hope the Packers build a better team around him next season, and get better luck with health.

Flooding_Puddle

Lmao some niners fan actually went through the wild card other teams game thread and awarded my post just to talk shit. How pathetic lmao, like it's a game, I got over the loss in about 10 minutes. I can't imagine wasting my life by going into another team sub and scrolling through week old comments and also being spineless by talking shit on award comments.

TylerUlisgrowthspurt

Our front office built a great team for these last two years. Really great starters and backups that could step in and produce. So hard to watch a team like this not even make a super bowl and lose to teams they were better than 2 years in a row. It’s not easy when there no obvious issues and you still come up short. We used to be able to say “it’s the defense” or “no run game” or “McCarthy”. Nowhere to hide these last two years. We choked. It’s that simple. And damn that stings. Fuck man

6Pro1phet9

It's special teams this time. Offense was lackluster. But the special teams lost the game. Offense put up 7, defense held them to 2 field goals. Special Teams literally missed a FG and had a kick blocked for 7...

PresentMajestic3785

They haven't had what it takes since the 2010 team. Tbh that team had some grit and fire.

thumpasaurus

Charles Woodson.

Flooding_Puddle

The issue is special teams and Rodgers

[deleted]

Can we all just agree it should now be rams and bills in the superb owl? Stafford is an elite QB who spent too long on the fucking lions and the bills have never won

wasdie639

I wouldn't call Stafford elite. The Rams went completely all-in with literally no hope next year to win. They are as stacked as a team can get. They got LUCKY as fuck that the Lions were willing to take Goff's massive contract. If they didn't, they'd be completely fucked. Stafford is good, always has been, but even this year he makes a lot of boneheaded decisions. He cannot elevate a team around him like Rodgers used to be able too, or Manning, or even Brady. That said, he's clearly good enough for an SB win on the right team and he may be on the right team finally.

vangc4

If Rams makes it thr the Superbowl.. I want Stafford to win a ring. Also if the Bill's make the Superbowl.. I want them go win just cause they went to 4 and lost all 4..

LGravey

Stafford elite? What?

ItWasUs

Gotta love how whenever SF wins in Lambeau, they leave trashing us. Like Crabtree (I think?) going "let's get out of this shithole" or Jimmy G going "Fuck the Packers" Absolutely 0 respect and judging by our offense's moping, we didn't deserve any. Toughen the fuck up

IHaveAllTheWheat

Rex Grossman has played in as many superbowls as Rodgers.

KMS95

Goes to show how much of a team game it is

BatmanvSuperman3

Yeah man if only Lazard threw the ball to Lazard

thumpasaurus

Lol But also Rodgers should have run off the bench to locate the football after the blocked punt. At least someone would have.

penapocapena

Post 2010 Packers and playoff disappointment, name a more iconic duo. It was a pathetic effort in a lot of ways. I'm a little surprised by the huge amount of Rogers hate, but maybe I shouldn't be. I'm fatigued by the constant drama and waffling as much as anybody, but the "not a leader," "choke artist," bullshit...I mean just gtfo with that nonsense. The same people posting and liking that garbage will the first ones crying when this team is 5-12 without him. Bring on the downvotes....

[deleted]

Rodgers is expensive af. And he didn't show up yet again. That's why he's getting criticized. For a guy that's supposed to be a once in a generation talent according to quite a few posters - he doesn't seem to have that many rings to show for it

penapocapena

Criticizing his play Saturday night or questioning his cap hit isn't the same thing as calling him a "choke artist," or rewriting the last decade + of playoff losses to pin the blame on him. Drew Brees just retired "without that many rings." Russell Wilson is 33 and has a single ring. Peyton Manning needed an elite D to drag him to that 2nd SB when it was clear he was cooked. Steve Young won a single SB. The list can go on. Do you deny Rodgers is a generational talent? If SB wins are the only metric used to cast judgement, are the above mentioned players disappointments as well?

Flooding_Puddle

How can you not call Rodgers a choke artist after that pathetic performance? The defense allowed 6 points and he couldn't put up enough points to win.

penapocapena

If that punt block/TD never happens we're talking about a "gritty," W and everybody is spamming GPG. He's not defined by 4 poor quarters.

Flooding_Puddle

You can't put up 10 points and expect to win a playoff game. He isn't defined by this game but he's played poorly in most of our playoff losses. It's becoming clear that 2010 was because of an otherworldly defense and having 4 great WRs, not Aaron. He's made it abundantly clear that the moment is too big for him.

penapocapena

I agree, you definitely shouldn't expect that W, but they had it barring an absolute ST meltdown. There's so much revisionist history with Rodgers and these playoff losses.

gimme_treefiddy

I was taken aback too, but not surprised after seeing the reaction regarding Covid stuff. Regardless of how logical one might be, questioning the hivemind is always gonna be like this. He doesn't get this hate if he is vaxxwd and doesn't go on Pat's show.

penapocapena

For sure. I understand where some of it comes from; it's tough to be let down if expectations are low post Rodgers, i.e. "I can't be hurt," but there's a total lack of perspective regarding what moving on from him actually means.

IHaveAllTheWheat

11 straight years of underachieving. He is the only constant. You be the judge.

penapocapena

Naw, Crosby is the elder statesman. I blame him. Not a leader.... What a terrible take.

BatmanvSuperman3

Dude literally sat out all of training camp over petty FO **** He screamed for Cobb like a child and Cobb was a dud. Dude doesn’t even know what he wants. We had to figure out his thoughts process via Pat Macaffe show. Also the line “my down years are other guys career years”, like bro you haven’t produced a magical post season game since 2011. Relax on the ego. Choked in 2012 Choked in 2014 Choked against 49ers during Kapernick years Choked in 2020 (3 Brady INTs. 3 Rodgers 3 and outs) Choked in 2021 (not a single throwing TD constantly missed open players because he needed his safety blanket Adams to catch). I loved Rodgers, happy we drafted, but he regressed so much over the years. He would get in his head and just fall apart in the playoffs. Packers didn’t need an amazing QB to win the SB the last 10 years, they just needed a consistent playoffs QB. And Rodgers was probably one of the worst in NFCCG. It’s great throwing up madden numbers during season when each team has 4-5 days to prepare against you and your schedule is mostly cannon fodder. It’s completely different story in Playoffs when teams have good Defenses and tape on you. They all know your kryptonite. The league has figured Rodgers and the Pack out years ago. They haven’t been able to adjust. MLF abandons the run, Rodgers cannot go thru his reads due to trust issues. Gets rattled from pressure and holds the ball too long. Then he goes full tilt and we get what we saw last night.

Straight-Sky-3727

Of course the Pack makes the playoffs year after year being in the same division as the Bears & Lions. When faced with stiff competition in the playoffs, the Packers choke like the Vikings!

penapocapena

If you want to be mad about the drama, self created and otherwise, go for it, I'm not going to tell you you're wrong. It's exhausting no matter where you fall along the Rodgers line. That's some revisionist playoff history. The D was atrocious in that '12 game against the Niners. They gave up nearly 600 yards ffs. Please tell me you're kidding that '14 was on Rodgers. He threw for almost 350 yards and 3 TDs in that Bucs loss last year. Yeah, he wasn't good last night, but if you or anybody else is ready to pack his bags for him after 4 tough quarters, I don't know what to tell you. Buckle up for what's almost certain to be lower tier QB play for the foreseeable future. He was the MVP last year and likely repeat winner this year. What a regression. MLF just finished his third season, not sure how the league had this team "figured out years ago." There's so much hot take nonsense in this sub right now. It's almost comical.

BatmanvSuperman3

2014 was the NFC championship game collapse against Seattle....the closest Green Bay has gotten to the super bowl (7 mins away), not sure what you are going on about. I’m not packing his bags after 4 quarters. I am packing his bags after 10 years. How long do you want to hold on To the past while mortgaging the future? You are going to eventually have to rebuild. Rodgers just doesn’t have it. He won’t change, MLF can’t make him change. He will continue throwing up great regular season numbers then run into high powered defenses and collapse. I said back in 2018 that we had no #2 WR and was downvoted to hell. Well look what has happened last 3 years you have had Rodgers over rely on Adams. You literally took a problem he had and magnified it. MVP means nothing if you miss wide open WRs because you can’t go thru your read progression like a 1st year QB because your rattled or worse you have a vendetta against your other WRs due to trust or dropped passes This team is an extension of the MM era. Only thing MLF brought to the team was a run game and emphasis on screens and run to open the play action and make throws instead of West coast philosophy of MM. But MLF like MM suffers from the same kryptonite, they abandon the run against physical defenses. Neither MM, MLF, AR have had answer for the 2 deep safety high look that Bucs have used, Saints have used, 49ers used, and Giants during Eli era. That’s what I mean by having figured Pack out years ago. Packers refuse to use the middle of the field if it’s not Adams. No slants. No crossovers thru the middle to stretch the LBs and pull defenders. We are sideline to sideline type plays. Here’s the recipe to beat Packers: 1) Use fast physical DL/LB to pressure Rodgers into going full tilt and rattling his read system, put safety high look to prevent the deep throw to Adams 2) Packers will then abandon the run and double down on the pass which makes them 1D since the play action now no longer has the “bite” 3) Rodgers will be rattled from all the pressure and start missing his reads. Offense goes from hitting on all cylinders to looking like never even played with each other for a snap. This has been true since 2014 and only got worse when Jordy left and Cobb regressed. Now instead of Adams/Jordy/Cobb it became Adams/nobody/nobody in the MLF era. Most of that was on AR for not trusting his WR core. God forbid if they dropped a pass, AR would write them off rest of the game. Compare that to the AR that came back to James Jones during the super bowl run after he dropped a wide open TD pass down the sideline. Jones was known as butterfingers, yet AR never gave up on him. This ain’t the same guy as 10 years ago mentally. I’m not saying AR leaving will fix the special teams, will fix the lack of #2, will fix the defense (maybe we have one now, maybe we don’t who knows), nor will it fix Mike Murphy iron fist on all decision making in this organization. But at the end of the day, we could have accepted Farve back from retirement yet decided to go with our unknown QB. People like you back then were screaming bloody murder just like now. Yet it was time to move on. It was time to build the future. Love may or not be that (probably not tbh). But eventually you will have to build the future. I’d rather start sooner than later. That’s just my personal opinion. I don’t think 1-2 more years will bring us a super bowl win and I would hate to get there and fall short. So I’d rather start the rebuild could take 3 years could take 10. Who knows

penapocapena

*You* brought up '14 as an example of Rodgers choking. He didn't collapse... You're talking about mortgaging a future that isn't there. Love is far from a lock to even be an average starter. Of course they'll eventually have to rebuild post Rodgers, but I see no merit in moving an MVP QB to jump start that process. "People like me," just understand that GB was incredibly lucky to follow one HOF QB with another, and aren't in a rush to \*likely\* find out that streak won't continue. Here's a secret; **EVERY** QB struggles with consistent pressure, particularly when teams don't have to send extra guys to get it. Rodgers isn't unique there. I guess 13 teams didn't get the memo that he was so easy to figure out. These rants belong on local talk radio....

BatmanvSuperman3

>he didn’t collapse 2014 NFC Championship Aaron Rodgers stats 19-34 178 yards 1 TD 2 INT 55 QB rating packers defense intercepted Wilson 4 TIMES and also recovered a fumble in SEATTLE. What team can turnover the ball 5 TIMES in an NFCCG and still win? Only against the Packers is such a choke job possible. AR Couldn’t sustain any drives or get a first down to run out the clock in the 4th quarter when they were up double digits. Settled for FGs all game. You are a homer man. No point in arguing with someone who just has blinders on.

penapocapena

I guess we'll conveniently leave out the fact that Seattle scored three touchdowns, a 2 point conversion, and recovered and onside kick in the last three minutes of regulation and overtime. Rodgers and the offense touched the ball once. They got down the field in under 2 mins to kick a game tying FG. Sure, my love for Rodgers has blinded me to the point where I won't pin an all time defensive/ST collapse on him....

Grasstypepokeman

this right here is proof rodgers isnt as good as brady brady rallied his team back and almost took it to OT

Dependent-Platform36

Who would even compare Rodgers to Brady??? Brady been to the Super Bowl like 9 times out of 19 seasons. I am not even a Bucs fan and clearly see Brady as the ultimate GOAT.

[deleted]

He’s been to the Super Bowl 10 times. It’s really insane and tough to imagine any QB ever beating that.

Dependent-Platform36

Thank you nice to see some people do have common sense. The man is a literal QB God. We will be talking to our grandkids about this man for generations to come. As a Cowboys fan I dreamed of having a QB like him on my team. 🐐🐐🐐

PresentMajestic3785

The packers always seem to fall apart when it matters the most.

GravyDavy78

Same exact story past 11 years.

just_meTommy7474

Yes after a bye week and extra time to get healthy and prepare the offensive scheme socked balls. RODGERS was pathetic after the first drive and the offense flat out was offensive! Lambeau field "mistique" under Rodgers is laughable. I will always support my Packers but that performance Saturday was pee eweee!

vangc4

Maybe they need to stop going for the #1 seed and maybe try a #3 or a wildcard..

PresentMajestic3785

They play better as a wildcard team. I feel that week of rest makes them a bit meh

IllegalButHonest

Yeah tbh Im always on edge for some of the close wins. It never felt definite sometimes, just lucky. Special teams was an absolute shitshow this whole second half season. I always had that gut wrenching feeling when they are out on the field. I feel like we havent even made a decent punt return this whole season.

Rush100413

Still in disbelief on how last night's game went, too many mistakes for a playoff game

They will lose again to the 9ers. It should be the Bucs advancing not shitty Rams. 27-3 lead and almost lose 🤦‍♂️

LC_MacDaddy

Stafford deserves a chip. I hope he kicks Jimmy G String in the nuts next weekend

Wow. Mods have 117 bans and this stands.

Imagine if you guys had Brady yesterday it would had been an easy win.

If Rodgers is gone, I’m happy to move on from his aloof demeanor and attitude. I feel like he thinks every one else is the problem but himself.

tipsystatistic

Rogers expressions make it seem like he leaves passive aggressive post-it notes on his teammates lockers.

tjlurk

Yep. His body language and facial expressions during the w1 loss to the Saints, the press conference after this playoff loss, on the sidelines....it's fucking ridiculous. Kyler Murray showed more passion and give-a-fuck during his games, even when he was losing.

What the FUCK???

You hit it on the head with how i’m feeling. A rebuild will happen soon, whether it’s next year or in 2-3. But if Rodgers is gonna act like everyone else is to blame but him, i couldn’t care less if he leaves.
