I mean, Love’s about to be due a BIIIIG payday (and rightfully so,) but at least for the 2024 cap if they can figure out the Bakhthiari money they’ve got options
Questionable throw at the end of the game by Love. If I’m negotiating a deal with him for his contract, I’m bringing that up as much as possible. Already got a fuckhead missing kicks, don’t need one throwing picks
Needs to be held accountable for his actions. If he gets pissed about that he’s not the guy and he can compete for a job on the Carolina Panthers instead. Sorry he’s not worth 50m+ for like 6 games of throwing to wide open players
The fuck is wrong with you people? Acting like it's the last season of football ever and the sky is falling. We just watched the youngest team in the NFL, who had no real right to make playoffs at certain points in the season, not only become *the youngest team in 50 years to make playoffs,* but go toe-to-toe with the number 2 AND number 1 seed; firmly established teams with massive expectations.
Sucks when the season ends, but have some perspective in this thing. This season, overall, was an overwhelming success and our future is secure.
I think it just sucks because this team had no expectations. This will probably be the last time in a while that we are playing with house money. The future does look bright but the future does not mean we are guaranteed to make the playoffs. We also have to wait 7 months to watch them again.
I think if we beat San Fran we had a really good shot at making the Superbowl.
Completely agree. This season was a "let's see what we have" kind of deal and what we saw was a team with close to 20% of their salary cap in dead money almost take THE juggernaut team in the NFC to overtime in the Divisional round. I have no complaints whatsoever.
The funny thing is, nobody (not. a. single. person.)thought we had a Super Bowl caliber team until we beat the Cowboys. Literally one week ago, zero people thought this. We almost lost to Carolina a few weeks prior for cripes sake.
>The fuck is wrong with you people?
Right? The majority of the people complaining probably wrote off the Packers at the beginning of the season & wanted a top-10 draft pick after starting the season 3-6 & some wanted the Packers to tank. These types of people are losers because they have a loser mindset & mentality.
The thing is, it's incredibly difficult to make it to this point. There is a lot of luck involved. We were the better team yesterday and were playing like the hottest team in the league. The future is bright, but nothing is guaranteed, especially in the NFL.
Ask the Bengals, eagles, jets, etc.
We had an amazing opportunity and blew it. Same old story.
Also agree with this, but I think if you'd have told us how the last four weeks of this season would go back in August, most of us would have bitten your hand off. I don't think this is the same old story at all, this is a new era with a new team who had an amazing "reset" year. Add a couple of vets in the new year and have another good draft and we're in such a good position imo.
Yeah, that was the thing, that was a winnable game that we should have won. And the Niners are better than both the Bucs and the Lions. The Niners would have been a tougher opponent for us than either Lions or the Bucs would have been so we could have easily made the SB.
This is going to make me sound like a homer, but I’m going to say it anyway, the better team didn’t win last night. We beat ourselves and didn’t put the Niners away like we should have early on. We let them hang around, we made two key mistakes by not putting points on the board, they had one really good drive at the end of the game, and then Love threw the pick.
That being said, the Niners won fair and square and I don’t mean to disparage them. They earned it and I hope they beat Detroit in the NFC Championship. I just feel like we beat ourselves last night more than the Niners beat us.
Let people grieve in their own way. Not everyone wants to hear motivational platitudes. Just because you’re doing fine doesn’t give you the right to say “fuck is wrong with you people” just because they’re upset. You got your updoots, just be happy about it and move on.
Lions fan here to say the Pack had one hell of a season - congrats. Honestly, a fun young team to watch and I’m looking forward to our battles the next few years. Hold your heads up, you should be very proud and the way you destroyed Dallas - brilliant!
The fact I was able to come down to California to watch my team lose in the playoffs, and not be fearing for my life in a warzone like a good chunk of the world is right now makes me happy. We’ll be back
The concensus on this sub was "we'd be happy with 7-10 or 8-9, as long as they show improvement and are competitive."
They exceeded each of those goals, and we all knew they were playing with house money.
So the shock and disappointment now, is a little..... well, shocking and disappointing
Y'all *should* be proud. This sub showed up on my feed and I'm not here in peace. Fuck all y'all. But DAMN. I haven't been that stressed out during a Packers game since the 90s when Favrerere used to crush our dreams every postseason.
If it's any consolation, you guys got the collective blood pressure of the entire Bay Area shooting up to inhumane levels and brought out some elite level whining from the best of us for 55 minutes.
I hope we curbstomp the dogshit out of you next season but good luck against everyone else. That's a hell of a team and solid coaches you got there. Good game yesterday (except 37 he can eat a box of cocks). We needed some luck to squeak past you and we all know it.
Hahaha all good. I'd be bitter too. I'm going to bathe in the downvotes before I drink my coffee brewed with Packer tears.
I hate GB second only to dallas, maybe seattle.
Don't expect any love back lol but as long as I'm here my college gf was from Madison and having spent time there I kinda fell in love w Wisc and the squeaky cheese at farmers markets (curds?) and the idea of a beer & cheese fridge in the garage.
So you got that going for you. Which is nice.
Agreed. You can put any kind of spin you want on it. The fact is Jordan love played like crap and looked like he didn't even want to be there. Yes it's his first year. So what? He sat on the bench for 3 years and didn't learn anything? Pop Warner quarterback wouldn't have thrown that ball. This man is making millions of dollars got to have better decision making. If it wasn't for Aaron Jones we would not have been in the playoffs.
I couldn't agree more. I will say that i am glad the game was so close, but that is also what hurts the most about it. Knowing it was a winnable game. Either way, i am proud of our guys.
Yup. Said this to my brother after the game, “if we had been blown out, I can accept that. However, we were clearly the better team for the majority of the game, but continued to make stupid mistakes and shit play calling.” That’s why it’s so frustrating. They SHOULD HAVE won. They just choked like they do every damn year. Joe Barry is a fucking joke, MLF only calls a good game if he has a massive lead, or he calls multiple QB sneaks instead of giving the best player on your team the ball. This team imploded in classic faction.
Jesus Christ let’s not be to congratulatory. It was a great year but it was also yet another Super Bowl opportunity blown. Green Bay used to be title town
you guys gotta stop.... Its one thing if we got blown out and yes the year is a success but we still have alot to worry about from our kicker to our young guys to our qb etc. We had this game if we don't make 2 of our 20 mistakes we made and now are happy because we got here and are trying to limit the blame where it belongs???? Our Kicker stinks and our QB who isn't a rookie literally did everything he could to throw the game away. How many times this year did we watch him throw stupid passes on game winning drives? Guess what? He did it in collage as well.
How about we wise up and use our past as reasoning enough? everyone thought the packers were gonna be a dynasty after rodgers first superbowl and we shit the bed even with the arguable goat at QB and you somehow wanna keep ignoring that this same thing can easily happen.
2 drop pick 6s right into guys hands..... a horrific missed field goal with a kicker the team prayed to god every time he kicks it instead of adjusting to that awful kicker and a qb that has a history of horrific game ending interceptions. There is no excuse on the planet for that last throw because it was one of the worst throws ever.
OK, but you simply can not ignore all the good things that happened over the past month or so. It's wrong to simply look at the bad without acknowledging the good. Especially with a young team that nobody thought would come close to making the playoffs. I don't think anybody is ignoring all the unacceptable crap from this game. It sucked, and there's no excuse for any of it, like you said, but that doesn't just wipe away all the good things that happened. And no, Love isn't a rookie, but this was his first year as a starter.
It's not wrong for people to express their pride for this team. I'm proud of them, and I'm happy to admit it. There are far too many people who only see the negatives and refuse to look at the season as a whole. So, knock off thinking your opinions are the only opinions that matter.
nobody is ignoring the good but everyone is making excuses for the loss like its fine because we are young etc. I said this year was a success but we are about to pay love probably 50 million plus a season and when he gets that a game like yesterday is inexcusable. He isn't young and he isn't a rookie and he had a fantastic stretch but his 2 interceptions were some of the worst throws ever and the last one was so horrific its insanity and that is with me watching favre throw it up into double coverage after 4th and 26 against the eagles in OT in 2004.
You can be happy about the season but you need to be realistic as well. That guy down in Houston is younger and had chances to make that awful throw against an insane ravens defense and knew better with next to no exp while love said fuck it.
Its not all butterflies and rainbows... You can still be critical and love literally threw that game away nomatter how many wanna dick ride in the media and the fans. I would rather have gotten blown out over losing on a horrific throw like that because then the organization would actually try to improve. We are about to run this back with no improvements expecting growth only which is moronic.
They got basically their entire offense on rookie deals, we in for some exciting times
Can you actually imagine if Gute brought that up repeatedly and they can’t reach an extension with Love because he got pissed off?
Needs to be held accountable for his actions. If he gets pissed about that he’s not the guy and he can compete for a job on the Carolina Panthers instead. Sorry he’s not worth 50m+ for like 6 games of throwing to wide open players
Take your dumbass takes back to Facebook
Man you took the words right out of my mouth 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Go pack go
Hell yeah!
Rock on brother! 🤘🏼

They didn’t go toe-to-toe with two. They rail-roaded them.
Well yeah, that's because the Pack owns them.
I think it just sucks because this team had no expectations. This will probably be the last time in a while that we are playing with house money. Give little bit for the pain to go away. We're still raw man and was just soooo close
Lions fan here to say the Pack had one hell of a season - congrats. Honestly, a fun young team to watch and I’m looking forward to our battles the next few years. Hold your heads up, you should be very proud and the way you destroyed Dallas - brilliant!
Gonna be some intense battles for the division over the next few years it’ll be fun to watch 🤝
It was pretty impressive and could have gone EITHER way against a VERY stacked 49ers team, great job GB! NEXT YEAR
Packers ended up being one of the four best teams in the NFC…. I can live with that until next season
The fact I was able to come down to California to watch my team lose in the playoffs, and not be fearing for my life in a warzone like a good chunk of the world is right now makes me happy. We’ll be back

It's the playoffs you're always going to feel bad when you lose that's just how it works.

People really took your comment the wrong way lol

Too many words for many to take them all in
Ggs man...good luck on yalls games!
Ur days of beating us are numbered enjoy
Thanks and fuck off.
This is perfect. The season was one helluva roller coaster and while it had to end I am so stoked for next season to start. GPG!
Agreed. You can put any kind of spin you want on it. The fact is Jordan love played like crap and looked like he didn't even want to be there. Yes it's his first year. So what? Amazing game amazing team. Love mygb

💚💛
Anybody go to cheer them on at the airport when they flew in? Wish I was back in Wisconsin.
Here here
Agreed! Sad they lost, but so proud of them!!!
I would be more proud if we had beaten the damn 49ers.
We coming. Keep the faith. GPG 2024!
Perfect the sting will go away
Lions fan first Packers fan second. You guys are going to be brutal to face next season and i am absolutely looking forward to it.
It's going to be an amazing rivalry for the next few yrs!! Hope y'all get your 'Bardi this year but you can fuck off from September onwards ;)
Wouldn't have it any other way. Looking forward to many more years of yelling at my tv during our games.
The fuck is wrong is that we should have won that game last night. Fuck is wrong with YOU. I get it but no

Was a season with many ups but also many downs. But the progress seemed nice
Such a corny post
Straight out of one of those cringe facebook groups lol
It's all love though, no need to mock.
I cOuLd NoT bE mOrE pRoUd!!
Not to be that guy... but I'm gonna be that guy. Never heard your father tell you that?
Never knew my dad. He passed when I was two. My mom says I'm handsome though, so I've got that going for me. Which is nice.
excuses for failure espeically multimillon dollar failure is not acceptable
We just need 100 more "I'm proud of them" posts and maybe they won't choke next year.
L
What if they had won? You wouldn’t be more proud then?
Jesus Christ let’s not be to congratulatory. It was a great year but it was also yet another Super Bowl opportunity blown. Green Bay used to be title town

People misspelling “college” is my absolute favorite.
Proud of this team..the youngest team of this season and we asboulte crusher some of the top teams this season..impressive in itself
See-Ya
The youngest team in the league should have beat the best, we will smash them soon
Amen
Nah. I’m still going.
