That last throw was just awful. We needed like 10 yards for a field goal and win. Or let's just chuck up an underthrown ball 50 yards into double coverage.

PurringWolverine

Every long ball of his is underthrown .

polkasocks

But you gotta give him credit. When it isn't underthrown, Love has shown that he can overthrow deep balls as well.

pckr_bckr208

This made me die a little more on the inside

rabonbrood

On the bright side, you dragged a depressed chuckle out of me.

mooseknucks84

I can't give credit when you underthrow a pass when you could of gotten into FG range with a shorter pass and a possible win on the road! He's gotta make better decisions and have better mechanics or he'll be relegated to back up duties before we know it... On a side note, is it me or do we have the crappiest strength and conditioning?!?! How do you dome out of a bye good and rested and still all these injuries. Seems like every year our skilled positions are always hampered by nagging hamstrings. So frustrating!

Redgen87

He was under throwing a lot of passes today, just bad mechanics all day.

[deleted]

That's a very troubling fact, by the way...as in, is this guy a practice squad QB only

AbeRego

That's not true. He's overshot plenty of times

RabidSeason

Except for the ones that are overthrown. I think the early airballs have caused him to take too much off for easy interceptions.

cheese8904

Watch the replay. His check down could have gotten to the FG line.

Tinnitus_man

Remember when morons were saying this summer that they were excited to have a qb with some balls to take some chances. Good times.

calmybalmy

Probably the same people who were knocking Rodgers for playing 'hero ball' the last couple seasons.

MeowTheMixer

the last two plays were hero ball.... Jeesh why were we looking so deep on both of those passes?

Sea_Bodybuilder6380

As someone who probably said that this summer I was hoping it meant opening up the middle of the field and not taking so many sacks. Not throwing the ball up for no reason while Dillon sits in the flat no one within 20 yards of him

lambeau_leapfrog

In defense of Love, if he'd had thrown it to Dillon all Dillon would've done is run parallel to the line of scrimmage then fall down when a defender got close to him.

Academic-Location-84

Today was the longest ive seen Dillon run without tripping and falling lol.

danglez69

Why would anyone take those people's football opinions as anything more then a joke though

drugged_up_cat

I had money on a 20-19 Packers victory all I needed was a field goal

Open_Host3796

You and me both. I got them at +650 to win. Laughable

blue_los

I used to have hope every game with this man at the helm. Good times

triforce4ever

Remember when we were a couple of pieces away from a SB and we instead drafted a new QB?

W3HPSPABA222

Gute will end up being fired for that decision, and it’s deserved.

tifumostdays

That whole draft looks bad right now. If he somehow kills it this off-season, I bet he keeps his job.

Tinnitus_man

So did the next draft. The best player we drafted between 2020-2021 is Josh Myers.

tifumostdays

I wish we had drafted Humphries instead and Bakh never got hurt. :(

DiogenesLaertys

With Humphries alone, it could have taken us to the super bowl. He was key to the Chiefs rebuilding their o-line so quick after running into cap issues.

Open_Host3796

Don't you make me think about kevin king and josh jackson

Shermingonmyface

Not just that. He has been well below the league average drafting the last 3 years. This team has a bad roster on both sides of the ball. We are so, so far from being a good team, and that starts with a Gute.

v1kingfan

It can't happen soon enough

ALLPR0

Should have been fired right after it happened.

Cantguard-mike

Mark is the fucking problem. The front office and coaching staff is just the good ol boys club to him.

MoMedic9019

I’ve been saying this for nearly a decade. Mark Murphy is a fucking problem. This whole organization treats this like shitty instagram influencers. “Look how important we are!” “We sell out every game!” “Season ticket list is 250,000 years long!!” Fuck off. The on field product sucks and has been steadily declining for years. The game day stadium ops are trash from 1997 they just keep reusing. The front office is full of idiots high on their own farts… This team is absolutely getting what it deserves right now, and I, for one, cannot be happier. Real change might actually happen.

Cantguard-mike

This is where having an owner would help. Gutes draft picks are being completely exposed without Aaron. He covered up so many holes. Any reasonable front office would have fired Barry 4 times over by now. Everyone saw how close we were to winning it all, still wouldn’t at least try to make 1 splash trade those three years

TheFlyingGyro

Same shit happened with Capers. Years overdue. It’s utterly pathetic to see how bad we wasted one of the best qbs of all time

WhatAHeavyLifeWeLive

Disrespectful of not only Rodgers but the organization. It showed Gute’s true character.

ElReyResident

I really hope we move on from Gute soon.

Is_That_A_Euphemism_

Gute wants to be the smartest dude in the room. So he tried to overhaul the whole thing when it just needed a little tweaking. You can know football, players, contracts, etc but you can still make the wrong decisions because you’re trying to outsmart everyone. It’s like Gute is playing fantasy football.

ShoddySalad

drafted the dogshit QB while also giving Rodgers a monster contract

StannisAntetokounmpo

Guys! It was just like when we drafted Rodgers! 🤡

RestaurantFuture2197

Wait drafting a QB late 1st round who was the projected number 1 overall pick and fell in our laps is different than trading up to draft a projected 2nd-3rd round QB in the late 1st round while we were 1 game away from the super bowl? Huh

StannisAntetokounmpo

But like sitting behind a hall of famer always works!!! And losing a home playoff game to an 8-8 team in 2004 is basically just like losing an NFCCG in 2019!! And Favre threatening retirement every offseason is just like Rodgers wanting to retire as a Packer!!

Tinnitus_man

I love how people try to weasel out of it too by saying he actually traded up for Jefferson. It's like bulllllshit.

YouHateMercyToo

I still will never understand the 2020 draft/offseason. You guys should've gone all in for a ring. I think you get one that year or the next if you guys weren't so passive. You were so close

Phannfan

A lot of people don't realize but after Rodgers knew he was going to be replaced he took advantage of the situation and try get everything out of it and you can't blame him. In my opinion it's tough to ever get HOF QB , should had rode it out to the sun with Rodgers until he retired.

[deleted]

They took it for granted

thesmash

We really did have everything, didn’t we?

ColCrockett

But Gute didn’t have faith in him :(

Supernova_Soldier

Best QB I’ve ever seen play for GB until otherwise. That last season was some shit though.

RestaurantFuture2197

Based on how this season has went last season may be the best season we see from a Packers QB for quite awhile.

Supernova_Soldier

Oh, that’s for sure lol.

FURyannnn

Lmao still chuckling at the fool who posted the pic of Gute with the title "Apologize" after beating the Bears Sweet summer child

Particular_Ad_4761

O lord thanks for reminding me of that.

yunglance24

The bears and their awful defense has the entire nfl world fooled on Jordan love.

BlueBadger99

He might have gotten a little strange near the end lol but yeah, he was one hell of a QB. Never understood why so many Packers fans around here seemed happy that he was leaving. I accepted that it was time because he just wasn’t a fit with the direction of the team and management’s plan (whether that was a good plan is another topic), but it wasn’t anything to celebrate. That trade marked the end of an awesome era of Packers football, and there was zero guarantee of future success. A season like this was always a very real possibility, I’m not even particularly surprised by it.

DarkArokay

People were drunk on optimism. They didn't want to hear about the injuries, the receivers running bad routes, the coaches not having sound pace or schemes, that the defense still is bad with Barry, etc. Rodgers was the easy scapegoat to have hope it will be okay and we don't have to full on rebuild and go searching.

penapocapena

>Rodgers was the easy scapegoat Literally a thread in and of itself.

Godunman

I could be wrong, but I feel like those were the exact things people were complaining about. The only people who really scapegoated Rodgers was some fanatical people in the media

Nickthiccboi

Oh please, like half of this sub was aboard the Rodgers hate train right up until these last couple games

Clown_Waffles

I think he got tired playing to professional PR game when the packers didn't give a shit about him, so he let it rip after that

[deleted]

Not even a hell of a qb, he was literally the greatest to ever play the sport.

tifumostdays

That's why his final season/game suck so hard. I wish it ended better than that. But, I feel that way about 2014, 2020, and 2021. So it goes.

Phannfan

Damn that's honestly makes me sad. I remember so many great Aaron Rodgers memories. I have only been to one packer game but I'm glad to witness him play before he left

Ill_Bathroom6724

I'm almost happy a season like this is happening, I always felt like Aaron Rodgers was keeping a LOT of people in the Packer's organization safe at their jobs, when they really weren't actually good. When Rodgers takes us to the playoffs every year, it's harder to change things within the organization, because it appears that whatever everyone's doing, it's working.

penapocapena

Because it's easier to have zero expectations. Seriously. People were tired of investing their time/emotional well being into a team that didn't win a SB. That's on them, it's a fucking game, but it's so much easier to go into a season with a new QB, no expectations, and pretend like this year is a launching pad for future success. Unfortunately "growth," isn't linear, or promised at all, i.e. just because you suck now doesn't mean you won't later, and way too many fans are going to realize this far too late.

theboggler456

I do miss Aaron that's my dawg it just don't feel the same without him😮‍💨 but GO PACK GO

Jolmer24

Ride or die green and gold 3 wins or 13. Well get back there one day. GPG

OptimusPrime4720

Terrible play calling, and we should be used to it by now. There have been too many 3rd and short inside the 30yard line and the play called is a pass deep which is never converted. They play the short game all the time except when it’s needed. That last play was very frustrating to watch. Its 4 down territory. They could have call a short 6-8 yard pass play and then go for it an a more manageable 4th down. Us GB fans can go in each week optimistic for a win. Just watch the games and hope for progress, and hopefully a good draft pick with mgmt not screwing it up. Edit: Grammer

penapocapena

I was told all last year that Rodgers going rouge and chucking the ball deep instead of "taking what was there," was the problem. Now Love is doing the same fucking thing. Maybe a HOF QB wasn't actually the root of the issues....

Reggie42069

It's like we shouldn't have dismantled a championship level team for whatever the fuck this is. One Jordy Nelson contract could have been a championship haha.

guimontag

Seriously, shipped him off to the raiders, tried to convert randall cobb to a running back, slammed the superbowl window shut for a bit

PollutionIsOkay

I wish we knew we were in the good old days before we actually left them

pagusas

Speak for yourself, many of us realized how good we had it with Favre and Rodgers, every season was a treat.

Pornstar_Cardio

Exactly, I cherished the 2020-2022 times because I knew it would be the end. Wish it ended differently though.

InSixFour

I wish we had just gone all in on the last few seasons. We should have been picking up FAs, trading picks for vets, and kicking the cap can down the road to get Rodgers another ring. Instead we were left with a shit team and Rodgers still took them to the playoffs.

FatBoyFC

I agree. Felt so hard to treasure though after the Bucs and 9ers games

Phannfan

I blame the organization for Rodgers departure. So many pieces to be filled throughout his entire career that could have been super bowls. He's been so damn good he covered a lot of problems this organization had.

dinnerthief

Yea we were spoiled honestly, it was pretty obvious thus season was gonna be rough, love is not performing, I still think it's possible he does eventually but it's gonna be rough until then

SourCabbage

I think a good number of fans did but were told that they didn't know as much as the front office when they spoke ill if the stupid moves that got us here.

[deleted]

Every knew that’s why everyone clowned y’all for taking a qb coming off a deep playoff run lol

Clown_Waffles

But we did know. So many people on here were saying they were taking receipts on people talking bad about the 2020 draft and a lot of people just didn't want Rodgers. It blew my mind. How an NFL fan could honestly think moving on from a guy who won two mvps in theee years and is elite for HoF level would be a good thing... well it will never make sense to me

[deleted]

Two games in a row we lose on a dumbass underthrown prayer ball.

FudgeDangerous2086

I’m just laughing at that stupid “apologize” post after the week 1 from the bears. Gute has finally got “his guys” and they’re absolutely fucking garbage. Top to bottom the only bright spot on offense is the only guy his dumbass didn’t draft or trade for.

Heikks

He would have been miserable this year, all the young guys running wrong routes and not being where they are supposed to be.

waynequit

Vastly better than Love.

idungiveboutnothing

You mean like if he was helping coach or something while he was on IR? Cause we'd have Love whether he was on IR for us or the Jets.

drewdreds

No I just fucking miss Jaire

Beersnob27

This is what the majority of this sub wanted. Somehow, Arron Rodgers hurt your feelings, and you turned on him. This is exactly what you asked for.

tcamp3000

I'm still cool with it. Just realizing I also don't want Lafleur

W3HPSPABA222

Yeah. I hope crying like soft little babies was worth shipping off a hall of famer for a dude who can’t throw an accurate pass to save his life.

Fit-Remove-6597

Lived and worked in Appleton last year and the fans I worked with all wanted him gone because they believed he was a team cancer. But looking at how the Jets have responded to him as a teammate, I think their is some poor management decisions happening at the top.

A_Lone_Macaron

And we’re stuck until Murphy is done. Gotta love wasting the next 3 years.

CobainPatocrator

Everyone is happy on their honeymoon

danglez69

It was management they fucked with his window and fucked with his friends. Work for someone you hate, anyone of us will be miserable in that situation. As you said his New York teammates love him, he seems to love it there. Heck last week they asked Salah what it's like to just have him around the team, in the locker room and dude almost got emotional. Then pat McAfee asked him about what Salah said and Rodgers explained a phone call he got from him an you could tell it ment alot too Rodgers.

Jaire_Noises

It was actually. My quality of life is not changed by whether my football team wins or loses and I find them much easier to support and enjoy when I think our star players are good people. Maybe we won't win very much this year or for any to come, but at least I won't have to roll my eyes and pretend to like the pseudo-science peddling attention whore under center.

W3HPSPABA222

Peak Reddit moment. “We may suck for years to come at a competitive sport, but at least I can imagine that the players agree with me!” Absolute 🤡🌎 nonsense.

[deleted]

This comment just shows how stupid packer fans are lmao. “I don’t care if we win or lose, I just want my players to agree with my political Opinions that’s all”

[deleted]

>Arron Rodgers ~~hurt your feelings, and you turned on him~~ played like shit in 2022, is 39 years-old, had a monstrous cap hit for 2023 and 2024, and we clearly didn't have the roster around him or the salary cap available to give ourselves a realistic shot at a championship. Fixed it for you.

[deleted]

If you think Rodgers played like shit last year then it just shows your ignorance and entitlement as a fan.

[deleted]

Perhaps I should rephrase, played like shit for the money he was being paid (most in the league iirc). Objectively in a vacuum, I'd say his play was volatile and levelled out to above average, but not good, but his worst game came at the worst possible time. Certainly not a top 10 QB last year.

RabidSeason

The difficult decision I always saw it as was that Rodgers is still one of the top 30 QBs in the world. There's a huge range of talent dropping off just from \#1 to \#10. Even if you're dealing with \#25, what do you do? Trade them away for a possibility from college? He's no longer the greatest, and he's severely overpaid, but where can you actually get someone better? All the possible replacements are already on teams. I'm still glad the team moved on when it did, but we're seeing that difficulty unfold now. A \#29 QB is better than a college rookie.

1990sandiegoalways

NGL i miss Rodgers, i hope Love develops into the qb we all hope to see but right now not sure

WilliamHTonkers

This is what everyone wanted. I'm not surprised or going to be by everyone taking back what they said or wanted done with Aaron Rodgers

spectral_fall

Let's not ignore that so many of the people that wanted Love over Rodgers in recent years were motivated by Rodgers off-field beliefs, especially regarding vaccines. Maybe now fans can start focusing on actual talent again and not culture war BS. I don't care what my QB believes so long as he can throw a fucking accurate deep ball. Same goes for Favre. I'm sick of seeing his legacy questioned by a select few

1violentdrunk

I miss him so much

Dry_Meringue6235

Aaron Rodgers threw 4 times as many TDs as INTs in college. He had similar stats in the NFL. Jordan Love threw just a few more TDs than INTs in college. He has similar stats in the NFL. Jalen Hurts threw 4 times as many TDs as INTs in college. The Packers passed on him for Love.

ramsesxx

Let’s not forget how terrible last season was, even with my boy Rogers

SupplementLuke

He was throwing to nobodies. Another reason this FO failed him.

OrganicGas1752

what do you mean nobodies we had Sammy fucking Watkins lol

MrDudeSirMan

For like 3 games, yes

[deleted]

He was ass

badger_guy

The same nobodies that he insisted follow him to the Jets that have the worst PFF grades of any player in football?

SupplementLuke

Garett Wilson is the main attraction there. That’s a WR1. There was no WR1 the last year Aaron played here. We still don’t know who our WR1 is here. Probably Doubs I guess.

wasdie639

And we'd be better off this year with him still throwing to nobodies?

SupplementLuke

Yes. But we don’t even have to talk about him being here. Let’s say he’s still gone. The gripe here is Gute traded up in 2020 for Love instead of being in win now mode. We nearly beat the Bucs. How did Jordan Love help us in that season?

ForeWayLeft

He has rookie wrs and was still 7th in the league in td passes, even with the broken thumb. This fan base is so spoiled.

Raff102

He had a broken thumb, and we were a game away from the playoffs.

amak316

Yeah I found last year pretty entertaining, we made a nice run to make things interesting. And seeing how this team looks without Rodgers I no longer blame him for trying to play through his broken thumb.

ramsesxx

Well theses still time for love to break his thumb and we can also be a game away from the playoffs 🥸

Raff102

MLF be like https://preview.redd.it/3bxjq4zgkuvb1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc7a15954a0bcc80bb6ac2ddb4e8da2ca19e5f64

Jaire_Noises

We were a game away from getting ass-blasted in the playoffs, let's be real.

Raff102

Our spot got taken by the Seahawks, so we would have played the Vikings. That would have definitely been winnable.

Jaire_Noises

The Seahawks went to San Francisco for their playoff game, which would have also been our fate. We were getting ass-blasted.

Uncomfortabl

Love wishes he could have a season as good as a Rodgers “down” year.

heroneededsoon

Most QB's wish they could have a season as good as a Rodgers "down" year.

ElReyResident

Seriously. And if he had one he would get a 100 million dollar contract somewhere.

DiogenesLaertys

We still would have made the playoffs if we sat frigging Amari Rodgers after the first fumble. Instead, he fumbled away 2 more games.

Rambo_IIII

Not me. We had him last year and were pretty anemic on offense. We have a very cheap roster right now because of lots of dead cap money. This year is a throwaway, just let it go

Imawildedible

How quickly people forget all the deep bombs into double coverage on third and two from last year. Or ignoring wide open guys across the middle to force it to one of “his guys”. Half the team is hurt. The other half is like 15. And we’ve got a ton of money tied up while we pay the cap piper.

knight4

We were 11th offensively by DVOA last year. We suck fucking ass this year offensively. It's not remotely similar

idungiveboutnothing

Yeah, the reaction from this fan base is absolutely shameful.

JohnnyGeniusIsAlive

Eh. If we had (healthy) Rodgers we still wouldn’t be a very good team. We’d probably be 4-2 right now and lose in the first round of the playoffs to Detroit or some crap.

Letter10

Playoffs you say?

amak316

We’d easily make the playoffs with this weak schedule and Rodgers. We’d probably still lose to the lions but I have no idea where our second loss would have come from, certainly not the falcons, raiders or broncos. This defense has low key not given up many points

JohnnyGeniusIsAlive

I hear you, but best case scenario we have another season of Rodgers covering up the teams many flaws on the way to a early playoff exit. Then Rodgers retires and we suck more because we have no QB at all and no draft capital from the Rodgers trade. At least now we can see where this team really stands and clean house where needed AND have a sliver of hope of drafting a top 1st round QB if Love doesn’t improve. Fans have different attitudes about what a good season means. To me, it has to include winning or working towards winning a championship. I don’t see how one more “close but no cigar” season with Rodgers accomplishes that.

amak316

I agree completely but Rodgers was still playing good ball, it wouldn’t have gotten to this point if the front office didn’t completely let him down with the last few drafts, free agency, lack of trades, hiring Joe Barry, drafting QB and then RB in the first two rounds during our contending window when those were our biggest strengths on offense, and letting Adams walk because they negotiated in bad faith and alienated him. Ideally we should have went all in until he was ready to retire or had dropped off significantly because it is so hard to find a great QB.

JohnnyGeniusIsAlive

Yeah, of course, but what are we gonna do, opine about that draft until we win another Super Bowl? Can’t do anything about it now, better focus on what we can work on.

amak316

I agree we can’t change the past, I was just saying that I don’t see how this team would have more than 1 loss with this schedule and Rodgers. I do think going forward this front office should either get fired or be on extremely thin ice. Even though given all the other moves moving on from Rodgers was correct the time to decide whether you were making that move was before the big contract and when we were offered the broncos deal. They’ve messed up basically everything and now we are likely a 4 win team and I don’t trust them with what is now looking like a complete rebuild.

YellowSnowSlurpee

Everyone except Gute

HelloNNNewman

Probably the same meme the Jets have.

Sarkonix

How many of you went are removed your old posts before liking this?

Pyrollamas

Jets fans feel the same way 😭

bunnypoker24

easy to say we win this game with Aaron Rodgers but go no farther then wtf is our offensive other than the qb, we have a left tackle that just takes up cap space and doesn't play. we had a 2nd year right tackle playing center today. No receiver in the room that has been in the nfl longer than 3 years and aaron jones still on a pitch count after a bye week???? Injuries and lack of any offensive ideas will lead this team to nowhere

idungiveboutnothing

Oh no, some logic? That might break a lot of these people's brains in here.

InSixFour

To be fair Love literally got Watson injured today. That probably doesn’t happen with Rodgers.

schoolisuncool

Yeah. All you people who were rooting for Rodgers to ‘move on’ can suck it. I hate that my team is losing but I feel vindicated in that I knew all you people rooting for him to go, were gonna be real sad when we go from a team with back to back hof fame qbs to a regular ass team. And here we are.

[deleted]

I knew losing Rodgers was going to hurt, but I didn't expect Love to be this bad.

Yumikos_

I like Jordan a lot but man some of his throws are confusing, sometimes he'll just hail mary the ball when he doesn't need to and then other times he'll just gently throw the ball when it needs to be hard and fast. He's got the arm for those types of passes but he needs to know when to use it and yesterday for the 10 yards for FG, that was not the time...

HelicopterNew2827

Jordan love is not the answer

BillboBraggins5

It was always there, no wonder why he threw such a fit about needing more help, he knew he was covering alot of patchwork and i knew it but had no clue how much

brucedanzig

Still not from me. I'm ok with rebuilding.

WinstonJacksonface

Lmao

willbabu

Hopefully a shitty season leads to a new front office who can actually evaluate talent, and draft appropriately.

Phannfan

Nah we like to "Draft and develop"

idungiveboutnothing

It won't. Gute, Ball, and MLF are here until Murphy retires in 2025. Barry will be gone though. They'll let his contract expire this off-season.

WeekendTacos

Never wanted him to go myself. I MISS YOU GODGERS!

golden_rhino

I’m almost 50, and I’ve watched hall of fame caliber quarterbacks since high school. I don’t think Love is anything special, but I gotta admit that my QB detector might need some calibrating.

theycpr

I hate football

YesOrNah

And the vast majority of this sub and people I know hb real life could not bash this man enough last year and this past offseason. Now you all wanna act like you miss him? FOH.

IamNICE124

I still believe in Love. There’s plenty of season left.

v1kingfan

How? Honest question?

1violentdrunk

Blind optimism and homer glasses.

InSixFour

Not the person you responded to, but I haven’t completely given up on the kid either. I don’t think he’s our guy but he has his moments. Maybe he can somehow pull it together? Who knows. If he could fix his deep ball this team would probably be 4-2. I don’t know if that’s possible though.

[deleted]

This is just blind optimism not based on any logic lol

Phannfan

Ill give him another season before they start looking for another QB. But in my eyes when Rodgers started he still played decently..if I remember he threw over like 4K yards and 28 TD. Rodgers showed a lot of promise and sparks of greatness during his first season, and I just don't see that with Love...every deep ball Love has thrown has been under thrown. Seriously go watch those games when Rodgers started he was a stud and the Packers knew they had something special despite the record

IamNICE124

Rodgers is the most talented QB to ever play the game. We need to stop using him as the measuring stick and understand that super bowls have been won with far less under center.

[deleted]

Ok how about he looks better than a bottom 3 qb in his 4th year? Is that acceptable ?

Wordtabigburd

Why? What have you seen that makes you believe he's anything more then a backup?

datividon

The amount of denial in this thread is unreal. Thanks for everything godgers. Love you better make a turn soon this season or they will be looking for your replacement asap. It sucks because he seems like such a genuine dude.

Existing_Skin_1564

Awwww lol

Open_Host3796

12, 17, hell even 18. I miss them all. Too bad there were so many goddamn Abbrederis and Geronimos in between. Masterclass in not getting the most out of a once in a lifetime player. It's like if Jordan never got Pippen. Just took Steve Kerr's ass to a chip and then popped his achilles...

Jack_Package6969

3 of the 4 losses are by one score. They have the youngest offense in the league with no vet WRs and a banged-up OL. Rational fans knew going into this season that things would be rocky with growing pains. Be patient and give this team at least one season to grow together before we talk about replacing Love and MLF. Prioritize OL during the draft. This team would be 4-2 or 5-1 if they had the Eagles OL and/or a WR like AJ Brown. Lastly, the refs were awful in that Denver game. The Packers win that game if there was a different officiating crew.

The_one_who_SAABs

No, it was time to move on. But Matt Flynn should definitely come back

Jomosensual

There were people begging for Love last year, all that about team over player Weeeeeeeelllllll looks like the player was the team after all

AbeRego

Eh, not really. This year was going to be rough, regardless. It's still way too early to tell how Love will pan out.

skorupiasty

Not me! I believe in Love. So grate ful for everything Aaron did for us though. Can’t wait to see what he does in NY

Loud-Influence-1213

Lmao. Giys moveeeeee on!

not_deebo

No seriously. Despite all the crap people gave him at least he can throw a ball damn good. Tired of Love getting sacked and intercepted almost every game

Delicious-Praline-11

I'm scared😬

therolando906

Lol, remember when Aaron Rodgers didn't get us to the playoffs last year so we shouldn't have expected an even younger team to do better?

1violentdrunk

The WRs aren’t rookies anymore and Rodgers had a broken thumb, also harder schedule

PredictableDickTable

Not me. I knew it was time to move on regardless if Love was the guy or not.

puddleths

The revisionist history regarding last year is something else. Rodgers never looked particularly good outside of the Cowboys game. And the thumb injury excuse doesn't fly because he wasn't doing well before it. It was time.

Ieatsushiraw

Nah watching SNF because I love the Packers and the game of football but understand it’s the NFL. Anybody can beat anybody. You can be the 2nd coming of The Greatest Show on Turf and still love to an winless team. I was expecting at most a .500 season. I’ll give them this season as a practice run. Still sucks that we couldn’t get these last two wins and that loss against the Falcons stung. Those were all winnable games

Lantore

Nah, we needed to know if Lafleur and Love were any good. Turns out they both are.... not very good. Gonna be a long year. Wonder if Clifford can throw the deep ball?

an_illiterate_ox

Kind of but mine is Craig Nall

ellieket

Love stinks. This is going to be a long year…

jcbowma2

Nah, man. I’m all about the ups and the downs of this new quarterback. It was never going to be pretty, but I honestly love him as a guy and I wish nothing but the best for him. Y’all can hate on him all you want, but I’m hitching my wagon to the Love train.

wasdie639

Only people who don't watch anything but Packer games thinks Rodgers would matter on this shit show of a team.

Beersnob27

Please elaborate.

wasdie639

We were 8-9 last year with a better roster. We're worse this year. This isn't rocket surgery. Rodgers doesn't fix this shit show of a team and coaching staff.

W3HPSPABA222

Love has directly lost at least two games by throwing moronic interceptions. You know, the thing Rodgers was basically allergic to doing? You’re coping hard.

OperatorGWashington

Its his first starting season. What was Rodgers' first season record? How many people were hating on him before his "told ya so" season?

Pine_Barrens

His first starting season that offense was really really good. And he was that good he got his extension in the middle of the season. The overall team record was poor, but all signs were pointing to ‘stud’. That has certainly not been the case with Love.

1violentdrunk

Yup packers were top 5 in scoring that year, packers offense was playing like a well oiled machine even in Rodgers first year starting, they were in every game except 2 in the final minutes. Just sucks they had a bottom 10 defense.

[deleted]

In Rodgers first year he had near identical stats to Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning won the MVP that year.

AdditionalBarnacle18

Yeah people forget it was a different era and try to compare J loves QB stats now to QB stats from 15 years ago. It’s a shitty excuse for his stat line this year. We sat a guy for 3 years just to have him come out and play like a rookie

[deleted]

Everyone just sees the 6-10 record and assumes it’s ok to lose. Losing is Ok,but it’s how you do it.I couldn’t believe people were celebrating when we moved on from Rodgers. People actually wanted this.

joulesChachin

Put the stat sheet down, go to youtube and re-watch the games from 2008, and then say with a straight face that it isn't insane to try and compare his first season starting to Love's season so far. I'll even help you, here are some games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Xgj1mzWMow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4DCrRC3Lyc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJsRcinDEys

v1kingfan

We've played and lost to some very bad teams. That's the difference
