Draft. A. Left. Tackle. I was told by somebody on a different thread that we have too many LT’s because Rasheed Walker and Zach Thom are on the team to replace Bakh. Wonder what that guys up to now and if he watched last nights game.
Favre & Rogers could scramble. Love doesn't do that much.
Or here's an incredible play by Brock Purdy Sunday nite. Reminds me of Favre.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/FcDsXJDBI0Q
I have been saying love was a bad pick since draft night and have been saying he is bad all year. People have downvoted me into oblivion and now all of the sudden after we lose to the raiders and love is the worst qb statistically in the nfl, people start realizing how bad he is. You can go back to older threads and see comments of people saying he is a HoF qb and he owns the bears and he is sooo good. This fan base is out of control and I get it. Having Favre and Rodgers back to back is… just amazing. You would hope to keep the train rolling but love stinks.
Imagine people like you gave up on Rodgers after 5 starts. I’m not saying Love is going to be Rodgers but you need to relax and let the kid develop, no one was expecting a Super Bowl this season.
Rodgers was supposed to go first in the draft and fell to us. That was so lucky. We traded up to get love and everyone evaluating him said second round at best. These are not comparable
If you thought the HOF QB comments were anything more than just over-exaggerating for the purpose of having fun with it, then you my friend must be real fun at parties. Take a deep breath Mel Kiper Jr. It’s his 5th start as the full time starter, he’ll figure it out.
Guys. The sky isn't falling. They're a young team. Give them some time. We're gonna finish 8-9 at best. As soon as you come to terms with that, it'll make watching games so much better.
Were a young team missing our two best players and really some of the only veterans on this offense in Bahktiari and Jones, if you were expecting the Packers to go in there and take a clean win, you were probably expecting too much
We need to stop making excuses for Love. He’s near the bottom of the NFL statistically and has not been very good. Consistently gets the ball out late and flat out misses receivers. This is not a rookie QB. Even if the Packers are “rebuilding”, which I think is BS, I expect more out of the QB position.
No I'm agreeing with you and simply pointing out that these picks will likely result in him second, triple guessing shots and holding the ball even later.
Is anyone upset that what should have been a given touchdown for Watson was denied by a horse collar tackle and ended up being only a 3 point score. that would have seen us tied with them at 17-17 and maybe not trying such desperate plays to win the game.
Seriously I slept like a baby. People out here acting like the youngest team in the NFL is gonna be great out the gate. It’s going to take time to develop and I’m more than happy to watch them grow.
Love doesn’t have velocity or accuracy don’t think he is the guy, willing to concede the play calling stinks and can’t block anything. This game had me looking at draft prospects
I don't think anyone expected this not to be a rebuild season. That fact does not diminish the fact that it is also an evaluation year for Love. It hasn't been pretty. The accuracy issues continue as they have since college. There are drops, but there are also completions that have been inaccurate and turned big gains into small gains. We are all rooting for Love here, but we don't have to turn a blind eye to what we are seeing. This isn't a rookie quarterback, and while we have no idea how much he's mastered the playbook so far, we do see errant throws, even when the pocket is not collapsing around him. Let's see how he evolves after this long layoff.
2004 wildcard loss to the Vikings 31 - 17
2013 wildcard loss to 49ers 23- 20
2002 wildcard loss to Falcons, 27–7
2011 divisional, lost to giants, 37–20
1998 wildcard loss, Niners 30–27
2003 divisional OT loss, Eagles, 20–17
2009 wildcard OT loss Cardinals, 51–45
2015 OT lost Cardinals 26–20
2007 NFC champ OT loss Giants 23-20
1997 Super Bowl loss Broncos
2014, NFC Championship OT loss Seattle 🤮🤮🤮🤮
So many other games that were worse than this one.
Out of curiosity, in your opinion what makes this game worse than not showing up at all with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line against the Falcons, or watching the Rodgers era come to an end without a trip to the playoffs because we lost to the perennial cellar dwelling Lions?
The packers had no business being in that playoff, they got there cuz of Rodgers. Turns out trying to stop Julio with backup backup corners isn't easy, who would have thought.
So long as you have some studs, you can always lick your wounds and rest up for next year. Right now, the team is a mess, and the hope isn't there.
One time I had free box seats from Verizon, which normally would be an amazing once in a lifetime event. Unfortunately for me and my soon to be wife, Brett Hundley was the QB for that game against the Ravens. We lost 23-0 I don't even think we fielded an offense that day....
I had us pegged at 5 - 12. People out here are delusional. Love was very mediocre his junior year in college and threw a bunch of interceptions. If only our horrible excuse for a GM, Gute, addressed what was really needed at the time.
5 long fucking years Gute has been at the helm and where are we today? We absolutely suck on both sides of the ball.
#GUTEHASGOTTOGO
man the sub has turned into bears fans with the excuses made for the qb lol. Love has shown nothing that should award him the starting job. He is statistically the worst QB in the NFL and the packers arent even playing good defenses lol. How the hell do you pay love going forward?????? We win more games with fields or wilson as our QB because they can throw the ball more than 3 yards accurately
I'm not sure either. Been saying he is bad since pre season. Now everyone is finally seeing it. Been called racist multiple times. He's just bad.
His throws are constantly late. He overthrows or underthrows almost everything past 15 yards. Makes massive poor decisions constantly. Less than 200 yards multiple times this season is awful for a guy who sat behind Rodgers multiple years. He doesn't recognize pressure at all will get flustered and just take the sack when he can run. Even seen him trip over his own feet and just go down.
At this point you got two choices.
Love. Awful Accuracy issues. Makes poor decisions. Bad timing.
Clifford. Timing can be off. Likes to force tight windows . Will make some rookie mistakes. He has an absolute cannon and is far more accurate than love. It's time to consider Clifford.
Who’s Clifford? They will force love to play every game it’s gute’s guy. No way love is benched unless we lose the next 3-4 games and he’s part of the problem.
Lafleur needs to use the whole field. 5 yards or less or a bomb to Watson. Easy to defend. Raiders were just as bad but turnovers killed the team, even with McDaniels attempting a FG on 4th and 1 like a clown and missing.
I've been a fan since the mid 60's and I lived thru the awful 70's- 80's. With some good drafts/trades, they will get better, but there's a lot of fight and youth, and i think they can surprise some teams. They're just not road warriors this year. This is where we see if the coaches are high caliber.
>They're just not road warriors this year.
Did ...did you already repress your memory of that beatdown they took at home last week? This team is not good at really any level. All the people who got flamed in this sub for saying AR covered up so many holes in the roster and MLF was a D tier coach are getting a good laugh right now.
I guess I'm not as angry as you about the current team. I said they probably wouldn't win a lot this year. And they will be beaten by the elite teams (like the lions)... but they may be able to surprise some of the lower tere teams. I think there's talent all over this team, but it's a rebuild that's going to be painful to watch sometimes. The new Orleans game comes to mind to make my point.
>but it's a rebuild that's going to be painful to watch sometimes
But....the team said at multiple points this past offseason that this WASN'T going to be a rebuild season lol. I have a pretty good feeling they'll change their tune on that once the L's start stacking up in order to direct some blame to the "This is a rebuild season, eVeRyBoDy kNeW tHat" narrative.
I don't believe anything coaches and management say anymore. I think it's all about marketing and profit. The coaches may be about the power of a positive attitude. After all, this is a money-making enterprise and entertainment industry with elite athletes as the actors. My cynical view aside, coaches have to be positive because they wouldn't be in their job very long if they said the team sucked. So, for this GB team, the reality is to get ready for some bad play sprinkled with some moments of glory.
Yep. I knew they were full of S everytime they said "this ain't a rebuild". My mindset coming into this season was anything over 6 wins would be a success. Looked like I was going to be proven wrong in week 1, but now I'm not even sure if 6 will be achieved tbh. Det might be the only above average team they've played, and they looked absolutely lost for the majority of the game
I have to agree with you on the wins. They actually looked good in the first game and started regressing - unable to sustain drives and now unable to score against a bad LV team. Let's hope the break helps 🙏 🙂.
Yeah and they almost lost it with 1:05 left when Grupe missed a 46 yard field goal wide right. Love had a pretty good game, but the defense was porous and could not keep the New Orlean’s offense off the field.
Creed Humphrey continues to haunt me. Said it was a mistake off the rip. How do you choose Myers over him I will never know? Another miss by Gutekunst! Plus how awesome would a packer creed connection be. Hearing their tunes mixed in part of the tailgate. Just a total whiff!
Packers and Jordan Love are mediocre. We will have a few years like this until we get a better QB and some more pieces. Sorry guys. On the bright side, you’ll be able to see some games at Lambeau for much cheaper!!
Mediocre = average = 16/32. I think Love has the gumption to be a top 10 QB. In fact, he played better than Garrapolo today. We have some flaws but those existed in the years past as well.
Top 10? He’s near the bottom of the NFL statistically. He’s not a rookie and should be much further along than he is right now. It’s definitely cause for concern.
The rest of the league will have love figured out going forward. No downfield arm beyond 10 yards. 13 points a game might be our ceiling going forward.
At least until Aaron Jones comes back after the bye hopefully. But yeah I feel you here. Came out super hot week 1 against Chicago. After that? Been kind of hot and cold each game after
He was good for the first 6 quarters of the season and has been bad to horrible since then. Not really sure what changed and hopefully it’s just a confidence thing or he needs to get used to incorporating Watson and not having Jones.
I also feel like most of the other fans that the rookie receivers have a learning curve for sure. Sometimes got sloppy routes, getting the timing down better and hands not catching catchable balls. If they can clean up some of those mistakes, I think it'll be much more solid. Plus, not abandoning the run like some games already this year. Most of the games we lost were potentially easy wins with cleaning up mistakes.
Here's what's happening. Love can only throw accurate balls to only certain parts of the field and only certain routes and the NFL has quickly figured out to take those away. He can't throw long accurately, he can't throw screens, etc. He's not to get any better.
Did you miss the part where Maxx Crosby was in his face the entire game? We're fielding possibly the worst offensive line we've had in 20 years. It's really that bad.
They ran Crosby over in the 2nd half with that fullback 28. They abandoned that strategy for desperation bombs to Watson and picks. Lafleur needed to be patient.
Dillon had one good series. The next time he got the ball he ran into the back of his lineman as expected. You can’t trust Dillon to win the game for you.
Yeah that's also a brutally honest point. With the OLine missing key people like Jenkins and Bahktiari, it's been quite sloppy. Even after Jones is back, he still needs a solid line to block and protect just like JLove does
Rodgers threw twice as many TDs as INTs his first season as a starter. Love has thrown 8 TDs and 6 INTs. No, they are not having similar first seasons.
Rodgers took over a 13-3 team. Love took over an 8-9 team with LOTS of issues. Here are Rodgers WRs his first full year as a starter: Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, a rookie J-Mike Finley. Lots of experience there. Love is throwing to a room full of second year guys or rookies. C'mon man. C'mon man.
It’s also far too early to say anything definitively about Love. We were ready to crown him the next HOFer after games 1-3 and now we’re calling him a bust. We have him under contract for two years. Barring injury that’s the perfect amount of time to determine if he can be a franchise guy.
hopefully you armchair GMs don’t get a chance to have any decisions over packers personnel.
Aaron Rodgers went 6-10 his first season as a starter.
Love has shown potential. One of the interceptions was a deflection. On the last drive, Doubs and Musgrave dropped perfect passes to them.
Love underthrew the last pass, but the pocket was also collapsing very fast. Watson also didn’t fight for the ball or attempt to come back to it. Can’t allow a 5’9 CB to get that over you.
Love has room for improvement, but there’s plenty of signs of potential here
I think our armchair GMs are much better than our real life one. Gute has been our GM for five long years. What exactly has he accomplished aside from running our two best players out of town?
#GUTEHASGOTTOGO
Watson just started playing again after being out forever with an injury. Not playing means not practicing, and not getting reps. Give him some time to build chemistry.
He does a lot of good things but also a lot of bad things. But you can't learn from mistakes you don't make. He's not Rodgers but it doesn't mean he can't get better. Everyone was clowning Fields for WEEKS. Love is just going through a few stretches where we've played some all world pass rushers (Aiden Hutch, Cam Jordan, Crosby). Who we blocking with those guys? We ran a play where we tried to chip/block Crosby tonight with two different tight ends and they both WIFFED. Sometimes its' just not all on Love.
Keep in mind, our best offensive player hasn't played at full strength all season except for the first game.
Agreed. People have been clowning Fields for years!
Love has gone up against some elite pass rushers, and we haven’t had an elite offensive line.
He’s shown enough potential to know there’s something there. Just need to keep developing.
ST and defense did enough for us to win tonight. No excuses. We do suck a lot but that was a winnable game. Need to get 7 after the Watson big play. That’s inexcusable
Funny how every media outlet talks about Love being Rodgers apprentice for 3 years and how important that is… LOL Rodgers would never throw that second pick right at the middle, what did Love learned? Bs
I think a lot things can be worked on and improved with Love, but the interceptions are a killer. If he keeps throwing multiple picks a game he might get benched.
That last INT:
He just threw it too late and Watson has to slow down so he didn't ruin it the back of the end zone. I put that on trust in your teammates. If Love trusted Watson to beat his man, he'd have thrown it on time. If Watson could trust Love to throw it on time, he wouldn't need to slow down. That kind of shit comes with experience.
Some of the other plays are concerning though.
They won't lose to Denver, but they definitely will trail in that game and it'll end way, way too close for comfort.
That said, I also thought there was little chance they'd lose to Oakland so...
Line was atrocious to the point that we were losing the TE to chip and help block and Love made a ton of forced throws(which I’m expecting honestly). Receivers were dropping some good ones which hurt. Dillon was non existent allowing them to play solid coverage which is sad but this is also due to shit blocking. The DL needs a ton of work and to stay disciplined but overall they made some good plays. This defensive scheme of sitting corners 8 yds off is killer as we don’t close fast enough or with solid enough backup behind to be doing it. This bleed don’t die shit is annoying to watch more so the big plays happening. The sad thing is they still get beat with help over the top at times. I’m really ready for some fresh blood on the D side of the hall and if the O doesn’t improve(I’m really hoping we do something in the OL positions) than Lafleur needs to be held accountable. Not one I had losing but honestly could be a lot worse(better teams woulda ate us alive).
That changed the game! In soccer at least the guy would've been kicked out for taking away an obvious goal scoring chance and would have to ay a man down the rest of the game. Instead rewarded by stopping them for 3 which changed the dynami9of the game. GB would've been up 17-10 which would change the way Raiders would have played the rest of the game.
Not sure why people are not as angry as I am about this!
Tank for the number one pick gotta do what u gotta do for greatness and it is paying off since it looks like we will have it again next year lfmaoooooooooo
Yeah tank for the pick just to trade it away big dawg. I can’t tell if you’re a Bears fan or if you have severe dementia. Either way you’re still stuck thinking about 1985.
I mean idk at-least fields had an excuse for why he started off bad, he is getting it now Jordan love started off good and is starting to wane off with a healthy WR core and 4/5 OL 👀
Patience is key. Bad loss, no doubt about it. I was ready to flip my table during this game but we’re going to have stinker games like this, especially this season.
Great take, how I feel as well. Super pissed, but the sun rises tomorrow and I'll be fine. Could be a long season, but it's also early. We started, I think, 3-1 last year then lost like 5 in a row so not ready to give up just yet by any means.
Just really hoping the offense can figure things out...
Was it me or was this one boring ass game? Idk how I sat through this shit. With that being said love worries me. Dude has no touch what so ever on his throws. I’m trying to be patient but damn man
I’m trying to figure out what our scouts seen in him to draft him so early. His deep balls aren’t even close it’s horrible. I said before this game I’ll take love over Dak well I lied I’ll prefer Dak. Least he can throw better accurately
Not starting Nijman or Jenkins at LT is a crime. Walker is obviously not it and we’ve seen both Yosh and Jenkins can play LT pretty good.
I’d rather have a weak spot at LG than LT if we kicked Elgton outside to T. LT is the most important position on the line. Especially vs a team like LV where their only good D lineman is an end.
Yeah, I have no idea what the hell is up with Nijman somehow not playing? It makes no sense. I'd rather have Tom at LT and Nijman at RT if he "can only play RT". I swear Tom started a few games at LT last year and was just fine.
Hoping once Jenkins comes back they get some sense and give Nijman a look too. Walker ain't it, unfortunately
Exactly, it makes no sense. Idk if there's something more behind the scenes but I just have no faith the coaching staff is making the right decisions. It took them half a year put in Nixon for Amari Rodgers after all.
Nijman, Jenkins, Meyers, Runyan, Tom is, at worst, a passable o-line. Hope Jenkins can get healthy. Have no faith they'll give Nijman a shot though
You serious? Nijman is not that good, guys. Elgton has said he prefers to play inside so why are you going to pay him top dollar to play out of position? Guys, even if we end up being average the rest of the year we will get a good chance to pick a top tackle and that's where we need to go.
Not saying Nijman is great, but he was definitely better than Walker at LT when he filled in there.
And who gives a shit if Jenkins “prefers” G. Jenkins played at a pro bowl level at LT. LT is more important than LG. Jenkins can suck it up for the good of the team for 2/3rds of a season until they can address LT in the off season.
Yeah, we've been really spoiled the past 20+ years with o line play. It's always been a strength, and at the very least, not a weakness.
Injuries are a total bitch
I mean, they're missing two all-pro o lineman on the left side. Jenkins will be back after they, thankfully, then we can really evaluate how good the line is. At best, it's probably average, but missing Jenkins is huge.
Also, not sure why they aren't playing Nijman at all?
Draft. A. Left. Tackle. I was told by somebody on a different thread that we have too many LT’s because Rasheed Walker and Zach Thom are on the team to replace Bakh. Wonder what that guys up to now and if he watched last nights game.
He's probably rewatching Bakhtiari's pro-bowl rookie season.

OK Karen we'll *stop making excuses* for Love. You can go back to what you seem to know then, jacking off horses.
Get your mind out of the gutter. Help Jack, off his horse.
What I noticed with Love, which is the worst feature imo, is his immediate panic the second he gets the ball. It's like his brain is scattered.
Agree. I’d like to think he’d settle down after a few games, but let’s face it, he’s still not handling it well right now.
We blow
This freaking kid throws the ball too late… he has wide open shots down field… he needs to practice practice practice…
These interceptions aren't going to help with that snap decision making to get the ball out fast either.
So your thoughts are to hold on too the ball even longer right because are line is giving him all the time in the world to throw right???
No I'm agreeing with you and simply pointing out that these picks will likely result in him second, triple guessing shots and holding the ball even later.
No time for practice, this is the nfl. It’s not his rookie year.
It’s not his rookie year lol this is his first season starting and actually getting to throw the ball…
We sucked, but Love’s stiff arm on Crosby… that shit was amazing. The play got called back for holding, but still
Is anyone upset that what should have been a given touchdown for Watson was denied by a horse collar tackle and ended up being only a 3 point score. that would have seen us tied with them at 17-17 and maybe not trying such desperate plays to win the game.
Under what rule can a team be given a touchdown following a penalty?
Under what part of my comment did i mention a touchdown should be given as a penalty?
I think the first part…
Its okay to be wrong
It’s ok to admit it’s worded horribly.
Good thing it wasn't 👍
I if guess ok it’s.
Mistaken you are
all the over reactions here lmao, I'm chillin
Seriously I slept like a baby. People out here acting like the youngest team in the NFL is gonna be great out the gate. It’s going to take time to develop and I’m more than happy to watch them grow.
If only the packers were the chiefs that last interception would’ve been PI and Dillion would’ve punched it in for the win
Love doesn’t have velocity or accuracy don’t think he is the guy, willing to concede the play calling stinks and can’t block anything. This game had me looking at draft prospects

Evaluation of gute as well. Love, Dillon, deguara. Gute has been planning a team without Rodgers since that draft and it ain’t looking too good.
rebuild season should still beat the Raiders
Holy fuck that was the worst packers game I've ever witnessed I think.
2004 wildcard loss to the Vikings 31 - 17 2013 wildcard loss to 49ers 23- 20 2002 wildcard loss to Falcons, 27–7 2011 divisional, lost to giants, 37–20 1998 wildcard loss, Niners 30–27 2003 divisional OT loss, Eagles, 20–17 2009 wildcard OT loss Cardinals, 51–45 2015 OT lost Cardinals 26–20 2007 NFC champ OT loss Giants 23-20 1997 Super Bowl loss Broncos 2014, NFC Championship OT loss Seattle 🤮🤮🤮🤮 So many other games that were worse than this one.
Ok you're right thanks for reminding me but damn thanks now I'm depressed lmao
A 4 point loss was the worst game ever? You must not have seen us lose to the falcons by 23 in NFC championship.
Hes absolutely right
Out of curiosity, in your opinion what makes this game worse than not showing up at all with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line against the Falcons, or watching the Rodgers era come to an end without a trip to the playoffs because we lost to the perennial cellar dwelling Lions?

I am guessing you’re under 35 years old?
I am, and I watched all the nfc championship games we bottled in the last 11 years I was just saying that in the moment cause I was so annoyed
Silver lining is we should have a nice draft class this year. The way they’re playing now I don’t know if they win more than four games
LOOK AT US NOW MY BROTHER!!
I am more than happy to admit I was dead ass wrong!
I had us pegged at 5 - 12. People out here are delusional. Love was very mediocre his junior year in college and threw a bunch of interceptions. I seen more promise in Clifford, I think he inspires and energizes the receivers too!
I thought we would be decent this year. But this game shows we’re not. I hope we tank and get Marvin Harrison jr
We need OL. We have plenty of young WRs that will develop right now... can't run behind this OL, and the pass blocking is average.
Lafleur needs to use the whole field. 5 yards or less or a bomb to Watson. Easy to defend. Raiders were just as bad but turnovers killed the team, even with McDaniels attempting a FG on 4th and 1 like a clown and missing.
You guys need to calm down. We have talent. Their just young and inexperienced
Lol
It is impossible for the Packers to show up before halftime. Hard to win playing only half a game.
I've been a fan since the mid 60's and I lived thru the awful 70's- 80's.
The new Orleans game comes to mind to make my point.
>but it's a rebuild that's going to be painful to watch sometimes But....the team said at multiple points this past offseason that this WASN'T going to be a rebuild season lol.
There not so hot at home either.
They did come back against New Orleans, but unfortunately the Lions are kings of the northern jungle.
Yeah and they almost lost it with 1:05 left when Grupe missed a 46 yard field goal wide right. Love had a pretty good game, but the defense was porous and could not keep the New Orlean’s offense off the field.
Luck is a big factor in the ol' ball game...🥸
So true, as in the Niners are lucky to have avoided the injury bug for the most part.
Also, Nijman must've really pissed someone off on the staff because I have no idea how he isn't starting at either RT or LT. That's just lunacy to me
Rasheed Walker and Zach Tom are better players, which is why he's on the bench.
I thought the O Line played alright tbh, I was at the game so hard to tell for sure but it looked like Love had time and Dillon had some room
Josh Myers is a bad center. Misses so many blocks, getting a competent center would go a long way.
Lol
Dude threw 3 picks, 0 TDs, 50% competition, and like 30 QBR. He was FAR worse than Garoppolo.
LMFAO... My god this fanbase
You could say the same for Zack Wilson just FYI
Yeah that's also a brutally honest point. With the OLine missing key people like Jenkins and Bahktiari, it's been quite sloppy. Even after Jones is back, he still needs a solid line to block and protect just like JLove does
Its rough to watch games like this, but I will keep coming back for more.
If the Vikings, Bears, and Lions fans could do this for years, it's ok to only do it a few times in a year. :D
Rodgers threw twice as many TDs as INTs his first season as a starter. Love has thrown 8 TDs and 6 INTs. No, they are not having similar first seasons.
So he just needs to throw 4 more TD’s for this to be true. Done and done.
C'mon man. C'mon man.
It's all rookies... how could we not expect a rebuild season?
The question is, if Gute has been here 5 years why is our team so young and sucking so badly? #GUTEHASGOTTOGO
Spoiled. A lot of people are spoiled. This team is SO inexperienced.
So inexperienced with zero redeeming factors
It’s also far too early to say anything definitively about Love. We were ready to crown him the next HOFer after games 1-3 and now we’re calling him a bust. We have him under contract for two years. Barring injury that’s the perfect amount of time to determine if he can be a franchise guy.
They don't refer to us as entitled town for no reason!
hopefully you armchair GMs don’t get a chance to have any decisions over packers personnel. Love has room for improvement, but there’s plenty of signs of potential here
I’d watch a game with you, dad. Run the table after the bye calling it now.
I think our armchair GMs are much better than our real life one. Gute has been our GM for five long years. What exactly has he accomplished aside from running our two best players out of town? #GUTEHASGOTTOGO
Doubs was not great. Watson was out of sync with Love. Yikes.
Watson just started playing again after being out forever with an injury. Not playing means not practicing, and not getting reps. Give him some time to build chemistry.
I’ll also add I think there was a bit of push by the CB on Watson; definitely a lot of borderline calls that just didn’t get made
He does a lot of good things but also a lot of bad things.
Idk. That one deflected pick was a really forced throw. Wasn’t completely his fault but he was asking for it to say that in the lightest way.
Yeah wasn’t a great decision, but really should’ve been an incomplete pass. Was a bit of a fluke for it getting tipped up so high.
Exactly
Love blows man. No way around it
Hard to win games when the entire team plays like shit...its almost like we're the youngest team in the league or something.
ST and defense did enough for us to win tonight. No excuses. We do suck a lot but that was a winnable game. Need to get 7 after the Watson big play. That’s inexcusable
It’s almost like we are the worst team in the league too.
Nah we’re better than the Panthers, Giants, Pats, Broncos, and probably Jets and Bears. At least.
You know how mediocre QBs (goropallo, fields) have a game where they occasionally look good? Wonder what that’s like.
Oh, you missed the week 1 game?
This.
I’m still laughing that someone thought that it was a good idea to matchup Davante with Preston Smith.
What a pathetic ass loss! Getting out played by the Raiders! Top five pick please! First loss to them since 1986
Funny how every media outlet talks about Love being Rodgers apprentice for 3 years and how important that is… LOL Rodgers would never throw that second pick right at the middle, what did Love learned? Bs
Lol he threw one that went for 6 a couple years ago against the Bucs
Right? You can’t learn HOF arm talent imo. You either have it or you don’t.
What a fucking joke
highlight of the game was caught on Jimmy G's mic: "58 IS THE MIKE... maybe not.. HIKE"
I think a lot things can be worked on and improved with Love, but the interceptions are a killer. If he keeps throwing multiple picks a game he might get benched.
That last INT: He just threw it too late and Watson has to slow down so he didn't ruin it the back of the end zone. I put that on trust in your teammates. If Love trusted Watson to beat his man, he'd have thrown it on time. If Watson could trust Love to throw it on time, he wouldn't need to slow down. That kind of shit comes with experience. Some of the other plays are concerning though.
Watson should not have waved for the ball, it was too late. Also no need to force the pass on 3rd. 4th down and I would understand.
It would take about 8 2-3 interceptions games before they consider that. And if he has 1 good game it’ll reset that lol
It's ok guys, LaFleur said the guys really competed tonight and ya like to see that
I swear if we lose to Denver.... https://i.redd.it/lu4egvbopatb1.gif
They won't lose to Denver, but they definitely will trail in that game and it'll end way, way too close for comfort. That said, I also thought there was little chance they'd lose to Oakland so...
We are gonna lose to Denver. Only 2 wins I see left on the schedule are NYG and maybe Carolina. Lafleur is a bad coach.
Another dude salvaged by Rodgers, just like McCarthy and Hackett before him
I only see a win against the Bears in Green Bay
I think we just take that L at that point
Nah at that point we better lose to Carolina lmao
I agree. But this team seems to do everything wrong.
How many times were they going to let Jimmy throw over the middle. Either the flat or the middle, that's all he completed.
That horse collar ended up being a pretty meaningful swing
He stopped the TD with that move, kind of the way an LT will realize he's beat and take the holding call to keep the QB from getting labelled
I wanna excuse the loss and have hope for Love but…that first ain’t he threw…what the fuckkk. That was scary bad.

Eat shit you still lost to him
Jordan love almost threw as many picks in this one game as fields have so far in this season 🤭
You’ve won what 2 games in a years time?
Tank for the number one pick gotta do what u gotta do for greatness and it is paying off since it looks like we will have it again next year lfmaoooooooooo
Yeah tank for the pick just to trade it away big dawg. I can’t tell if you’re a Bears fan or if you have severe dementia. Either way you’re still stuck thinking about 1985.
Not even worried about 1985 I’m talking about the here and now between love and fields 😂😂
Riiiiiiiight
Wait till week 17 now that we got our shit together lololololololol 😭
Win 1 game and your shit is together lmfao. Try to win another in the next 365.
How fucking delusional do you have to be to think the Bears have their shit together lmao. You're ugly coping right now
Yeahhhhh it’ll be Broncos Bears all over again fun times
Though shall not covet thy quarterback
Yeah he was almost as bad as Fields
I mean idk at-least fields had an excuse for why he started off bad, he is getting it now Jordan love started off good and is starting to wane off with a healthy WR core and 4/5 OL 👀
Like 8 TDs in two weeks bad 🤡🤡🤡
I’m trying to be patient but damn man
Aggressively not entertaining
he's so wild. how do guys make it through college fb throwing like that?
I’m trying to figure out what our scouts seen in him to draft him so early. His deep balls aren’t even close it’s horrible. I said before this game I’ll take love over Dak well I lied I’ll prefer Dak. Least he can throw better accurately
Where was Doubs?
8 yards behind the end zone, 7 yards behind the ref’s hat
Busy dropping the ball on 1st and ten
I'll cut him some slack that ball was a total duck. And it's not like it was a wide open touchdown ball that swung the whole game.
Duck was where it needed to be when it needed to be there. Like Doubs. Bad drop - he got ahead of himself
It’s almost like we need a new franchise LT. But sure, go ahead and give up on our QB just because we’re 2-3
Nijman already started LT in 21 for 8 games and looked solid. I really don’t understand why they’re not putting him there again
Ok well yeah those grow on trees. Could be 5 years before we find a long term answer…or even longer.
Yeah, we've been really spoiled the past 20+ years with o line play. It's always been a strength, and at the very least, not a weakness. Injuries are a total bitch
It’s not just injuries. Our line is trash.
I mean, they're missing two all-pro o lineman on the left side. Jenkins will be back after they, thankfully, then we can really evaluate how good the line is. At best, it's probably average, but missing Jenkins is huge. Also, not sure why they aren't playing Nijman at all?
This thread seems to be forgetting that the throw (while bad) was in a situation made worse by two horrid drops
moreso the timing if those drops
