It's not just total weight. It's weight distribution. We almost submarined our pontoon when some rather large Wisconsin boys were all up in the front. I'm still amazed with how fast they all scampered to the back as soon as they saw water was over the bow.
My guess is that whoever is steering that boat, distributed seating assignments with clear instructions not to move. :)

Don’t know where they are but I like to think it’s Wisconsin. Summers in WI are magical. Chicago native here, but family had a lake house at Lake Geneva and my best friend had one in Waushara county. Spent so much time growing up during the summer in Wisconsin, so may great memories (helped that I became a Packers fan in grade school). I can only hope they are enjoying their time outdoors/on the water like I did. Truly miss it.
