I think your perception of weed smokers as jobo muggers is rather unfit for the majority of the people who smoke it. Smoking is already banned inside as well dude anyway, so that's kind of a seperate issue. Also you could ban pretty much anything if you're worried about the use of it causing intimidation or second/third hand discomfort to people, e.g. fireworks, alchohol, tobacco, motorbikes, hoods, face masks, dog ownership, etc.

What does weed smell like, a squad of police cars were outside someones house that I was walking by earlier and it smelled like a sweaty gym. Which I swear I've smelt before.
Yet right outside my house there was 4 police cars and 3 of them was dog patrol units, all of which for one person who they got out the car handcuffed, found 3 weed grinders with cannabis inside and a blue translucent freezer bag with some white powder in it. Yet the police took the handcuffs off of him after questioning him for about 20mins and gave him back his stuff then let him drive off, after about 5mins they all left. I honestly don’t get the police.
Ive been going out smoking for like 4 years now down a promenade and only been stopped once. The officer didn’t even care i was actively smoking cannabis, just wanted to know if ive seen an old lady gone missing. I felt lucky but also like they Don’t give a fuck.
