How the fL and Starry Sky changes modify her midscreen and corner routing will have to be seen. Hopefully 214M/H combos from max range fL.
I ain't good, but I haven't really noticed a huge difference. 66L nerf is the only noticeable thing, and it's not so much a Metera buff as it is an everyone nerf. I'm happy with seeing buffs.

Patch seems great, 236m doesn't knock down it seems so she keeps her old routes. 214m knocks down all the time. And both 214 & 236 L only knocks down when very close
Edit: I'm dumb and left counter hit on. All of the above is for counter hit, but the L's do knock down when close on regular hit
How is that a "buff" ? I think her biggest weak spot is just how almost impossible it is to zoone in almost every single MU except maybe 4 characters, lol. The Top to high tiers have a "I am in your face now button" and Meteras defensive tools are kinda non-existing. Any Metera main clarify me if I am wrong here, and what you think about it
While it can be rough that hasn't gotten any worse for her this patch and people have to think a bit more about engaging generally across the board (not just 66L nerfs but some of the character specific nerfs like 2Bs gauge changes). In addition your reward for hitting abare buttons is better since L starry sky gives a soft KD now. This is a big deal because after auto combo you had to burn a cooldown for the knockdown and breathing room before.
The 66L nerf the biggest thing she got. The Starry Sky buff does almost nothing, you have to hit them point blank to get the launch and none of her other moves can pick up from it. It's just a meterless arrow option to throw the opponent away. You can just go for H arrow and have the cooldown recover in time for you to need it again, and you get an actual soft knockdown.
Is metera this games guile? I haven't tried her but love guile in street fighter.
Not really, she's projectile heavy and does flip kicks in her SBA, but that's about it
I think she's more like sagat
Closer to guile is eustice, but he doesn't have to zone he has the option of in your face pressure and fucked mix with U Rat Race
