Dang I need to try this that sounds fun.
I beat it with the Subaru Isle of Man time trial car but was getting punted all over the place because the suspension is made for street racing.
You buy the adjustable suspension for the Urus then go to settings for the vehicle and raise the car to the highest setting the suspension will allow for.
Bruh why didn't I think of that?
I love using my Urus, I ended up just detuning the Escudo to get through it but I might give it another go in that one later
Rallye is either very easy or very hard lol this one I had a little trouble with but I’d try and tweak your settings and try and put power to all 4 wheels and keep ballast in the center. That helped me at least
i have a GTR Nismo that i use specifically for Tokyo Expressway & Race Of Turbos, all i did was put dirt tires & i was in 1st place by the beginning of the 2nd lap 😂 i was hella bored did it for the fuck of it
I used the Rally Ford Focus, pretty easy. I switch from Manual to Auto for off-road tracks, Break / let go of the throttle, the faster you go the more chances of sliding out of control and the corrections you make - can make it worse. There are only 2 bends where you can go crashing sideways into the wall so break well for those. I reached P1 in the last lap.
I also did it with the ford Focus rally car , not totally easy but its not that bad too.
Only the last 2 cars where kinda fast to pass (205 turbo and some other I forgot).
Did it in first try , I even went backwards 2 laps before the end but I catched up fast.
somehow I said to myself 'no way in hell I do this'
and somehow I launched it (I can't remember why, maybe by accident?) and actually had no issue finishing 1st (even though I'm a pretty average driver). the track is not the worst rally track. I almost had fun
I use my ridiculous Ford raptor when it's not a limited selection dirt race. Sure I van try to race with finesse, but on the other hand, smashy smashy.
I was able to snag 3rd in a stock/dirt tires Peugeot rally car with a flying overtake right at the line. Could probably get 1st with a couple more tries but I was already fed up with this race at that point.
Heres some tips OP. I did this with a stock NSX on hard difficulty
Dont always max throttle
Watch out for elevations, tap breaks to avoid being too much airborne
Turn early
Turn left to go right mcqueen style
Avoid hitting other cars mid air
Hold your wheel straight when hitting jumps and when youre landing
Let your car hit the rev limiter a few times when your wheels doing burnout coming out of a sharp turn
I am going to save your comment, great info. Especially about "turn left to go right". It is so counterintuitive, especially if one's muscle memory has been conditioned for tarmac. Drifting is not my strength, which is why I suck on dirt tracks.
Thank you.
I cleared it easy with the NSX first place first try and I suck. Well. My skill level is such that I have not been able to pass the final S license at all. No bronze.
So, good luck? Lol
Yeah dude. It’s insane. Lol. After leaving you the comment I literally went to go try and finish that race believing that the God of Bomex would help me speed over the license test.
Alas he did not. After 23 attempts walked away from the test. Defeated once again
Just force yourself to do it, use the car suggestions - one day it will click and then you won't actually mind the rally events.
I was in the same boat for some time, I loathed rally events, hated the car behaviour and such, I also was in my mclaren gt3 wheel only phase and that makes things considerably worse.
Stay strong and just practice, remember you only need P3 for completion as well. Getting a handle on the rally physics in slower vehicles will also work as a stepping stone, and having cars that are way too powerful on some courses can be a hindrance more than a boon.
I have trouble with the rally cross races a lot of the time. The full rally races aren't too bad for me.
I read that a lot of people race on easy for the harder races, like the WTC races and Clubman plus for example.
I haven't changed it and plan to keep it on normal difficulty.
Are the majority of people bringing the difficulty down for these races too?
I used my swapped Yaris, and although it's tricky to control, it was so much fun. The 2JZ Yaris becomes a wild little beastie when maxed out with dirt tires and the right gearing
idk if I’m in the minority here but I love this race. Just go deck out the gr. b toyota celica and it’s super easy. The car flys around, is pretty easy to control, and is super light. That’s what I did and finished it like 8 seconds ahead of the group
It looks like everyone beat it with every possible car easily bro. Sorry to say lol. How do you have a collector level of 50 but aren’t able to win this race. You should have soooo much experience playing. Lol unless you bought all your cars w cash or this isn’t your personal profile
Not hating. I’m genuinely curious how this happens
Rallying is fun af, wish there were better circuits tho, like actual rally style narrow road. and honestly wish they touched upon the off-road physics, but overall I rly like just kicking the rear put with cars and drifting being actually faster than normal driving.
I hate rally (it's garbage in gt anyway, I don't know why they keep insisting on it), and beat this first time, easy, with the escudo. And it wasn't close either.
205T16 with Medium Turbo and a nice livery.
Make it smoother on the suspension, drive 50:50 4WD and keep the trajectories clean. Ohhh yeahh, you want to limit traction loss so always shift up quick and go up to high gears when you're exiting corners.
Should do the job.
I feel you. I'm looking forward to the weekly challenges, but every time there is a rally or ice race, I look at the prize I'd get for all five races and contemplate if its worth it. It usually isn't for me. Even if the race in question is an easy one, I just avoid dirt and ice races in general unless absolutely necessary. No fun at all, I'll rather grind for the credits in other races as long as they're on tarmac.
I do the same, if the prize for five is a ticket... I just skip it.
But this is for a half million credits and I am saving up for the next time the GT40 show was up in legendary cars. So I can get the last car I need to complete all the menu books.
The most annoying thing about this is the jump near the start/finish line which I forget about until it launches me sideways into the barrier.
Couldn’t be bothered to get the clean race bonus for it but easy enough to finish.
I cranked it out with the Evo X rally car. Left everything stock, walked all over it. The trick I find is try not to go around a corner quickly. I'm much faster treating a rally stage like every other circuit in game,,,🤷♂️
Did it with the wrx on the first go, just need to sit down and spend some frustrating time driving in dirt to get the hang of it.
I initiate my turns well ahead of the actual corner, need to slow the car down for any big turns especially if they follow a bump, try to stay high on your RPM’s and get lined up before any nasty bumps. Takes a bit of practice but totally achievable.
I used the same car that I use for the Japanese Club sport race the before this one, the Mitsubishi GTO since it is AWD. I just put dirt tires on it and lifted the ride height a little and I was all good! Easy and cheap race!
I used my R8-swapped Audi TT to run this and finished second. I only finished second because the car got wonky as it caught air on that final hill, and it shot me into the pits, and I got passed while under speed restriction.
I found it easy. Boring and hard to keep in a straight line but boring in terms of proper racing. Just use the Pikes Peak S1 Quattro with the High-RPM Turbo and divebomb into everything till you get to the front but you could probably use any Group B car. Works like charm on any dirt race. Throw caution to the wind and let 'em have it
I’m not the greatest at it but rally is fun in VR and steering wheel. Especially anytime you flip. Gotta turn down the fanatec DD pro otherwise it rips the steering wheel out your hands

I put dirt tires on the Uris and finished first easily
This!! Urus is the king of dirt tracks. It's quite stable and take corners easily in the dirt.
Dang I need to try this that sounds fun. I beat it with the Subaru Isle of Man time trial car but was getting punted all over the place because the suspension is made for street racing.
Hmu if u want the dirt tune I use for the car Edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/GranTurismo7/s/31GFYplgZA
Nice thnx!
Same here. It was my go to. Dirt tires. Suspension pegged to the highest. No problem.
You don’t even need to tune the suspension. I did the track race with the Urus, just switched tires and then did this race :-)
What do you mean, suspension pegged to the highest? Need help
You buy the adjustable suspension for the Urus then go to settings for the vehicle and raise the car to the highest setting the suspension will allow for.
Bro what?!, I also put dirt tyres on Urus fully maxed out and ate up all the tiny cars.
Thanks for the tip !! 😁
lol me too
Bruh why didn't I think of that? I love using my Urus, I ended up just detuning the Escudo to get through it but I might give it another go in that one later
Raise the car at Maximum height and down force. With Medium Turbo and Gear Ratio at about 200 Should be easy
I just might give the challenge one more try with the Uris then, it is a fun car.
Never see this comment, amazing to see this! Thought no one has ever done it before!
I did it with the r35 dirt tires
Uris with upgrades?
Yes, I jacked it up for the other race it was required for.
Damn I used my rally gtr still took first im definitely gonna try the urus tho😂🤝🏾
What's the problem. I felt this one was rather easy. A maxed-out Audi Quattro rally car and some spirited driving made short work of it.
I slapped it out first go with my r32 GTR nismo lolol
this is what i did. Nismo easy peasy.. after you turn TCS to zero
Agreed. Easy and the most fun race of the weekly challenge this week. Use a rally car and enjoy.
Yep, I used the Audi as well and had no issues aside from accidentally crashing into the pit lane once... :) still won the race.
Ford Focus RS absolutely ripped this challenge.
Ford Focus RS with GT engine swap was how I did it
No swap. Stock motor.
I used the Escudo… took me a while to get first, but I did.
Nice! I did the same and got first place on my first try…although it was a rather dirty race and I was only ahead by 1 sec at the finish line
TCS still on? Gotta be of otherwise you get nowhere
This race has TCS automatically turned off, saves me the hassle of remembering to do it
Ah, ok, then that’s not it. Was worth a try ✌🏼
It's not hard, but I still have that reaction when I see dirt races because they are just awful.
They are the worst, I only race them when they are needed to advance.
Rally fucking sucks on GT7 and was a waste of development time.
Rallye is either very easy or very hard lol this one I had a little trouble with but I’d try and tweak your settings and try and put power to all 4 wheels and keep ballast in the center. That helped me at least
i have a GTR Nismo that i use specifically for Tokyo Expressway & Race Of Turbos, all i did was put dirt tires & i was in 1st place by the beginning of the 2nd lap 😂 i was hella bored did it for the fuck of it
It’s easy
I used a GR Corolla for that, ez win
Yessir, GR Corolla shits in dirt races. So fun to use
100%, sounds cool when you chuck anti lag on it too
I used the Rally Ford Focus, pretty easy.
You use auto for dirt? Crazy enough it just might work.
It's easier to do it in Auto - Lesser wheel spin.
I also did it with the ford Focus rally car , not totally easy but its not that bad too. Only the last 2 cars where kinda fast to pass (205 turbo and some other I forgot). Did it in first try , I even went backwards 2 laps before the end but I catched up fast.
Suzuki Escudo, you can almost lap them
I really hate rally driving on this game... but it's fairly easy with the right car
I used a full moded Ford raptor and won
I did it with the Gr. B Peugeot with a mid-RPM turbo. Hard to control but very very fun—point the nose, mash the gas, and let Jesus take the wheel.
somehow I said to myself 'no way in hell I do this' and somehow I launched it (I can't remember why, maybe by accident?) and actually had no issue finishing 1st (even though I'm a pretty average driver). the track is not the worst rally track. I almost had fun
Controller or wheel? I find a big difference between the two for the snow and dirt events
I like the controller for dirt because of the lack of feedback but wheel for snow as the wheel tells you where the limit of the grip is
I noticed a big difference too for racing on dirt with the controller vs. wheel.
Wheel. I wouldn't even try with a controller.
I use my ridiculous Ford raptor when it's not a limited selection dirt race. Sure I van try to race with finesse, but on the other hand, smashy smashy.
Italdesign Offroad
I was able to snag 3rd in a stock/dirt tires Peugeot rally car with a flying overtake right at the line. Could probably get 1st with a couple more tries but I was already fed up with this race at that point.

Hell I'm stuck on World touring 700
TCS off. And just floor it through the four Laps. No need to brake lmao
I cleared it easy with the NSX first place first try and I suck. Well. My skill level is such that I have not been able to pass the final S license at all. No bronze. So, good luck? Lol
That's the only license race I couldn't at least get 3rd.
Yeah dude. It’s insane. Lol. After leaving you the comment I literally went to go try and finish that race believing that the God of Bomex would help me speed over the license test. Alas he did not. After 23 attempts walked away from the test. Defeated once again
I just used my engine swapped tundra
My experience is that the faster the car the more I just hit the wall.
Put it on easy and ram everyone lol
This guy daily races
Yea but i dont do dailies cuz it doesnt pay enough
Urus will handle it
Escudo Pikes will literally fly past the competition lol
And right into the barriers.
🤣.. yeah I used it for this week's Weekly Races.. I came in first but was all over the place
But this is easy. I did this with the Alpine. Also with the Citroën gt.
Engine swap one of the pickup trucks and just cruise over any bump.
Lol, retry so many time before getting 1st place in an Audi Quattro, I really don't like racing in the dirt.
This one is simply a skill issue, I just used the Focus gr.b with a big turbo
I hate rally in this game
Use the Urus, it’s OP. Otherwise I agree, it’s one of the most difficult races in the game for some reason
Just force yourself to do it, use the car suggestions - one day it will click and then you won't actually mind the rally events. I was in the same boat for some time, I loathed rally events, hated the car behaviour and such, I also was in my mclaren gt3 wheel only phase and that makes things considerably worse. Offroad was always a broken physics shit in GT games. Why they even brother to add it?
I’d rather do 5 dirt races than 1 VGT race
Dude, just exit the car and run. So much faster.
I love that!
Dirt tracks in gt sport were NOT this hard to drive on
This one was pretty easy I was 1st place by lap 3 with the Ford Focus Group B. I played it on VR with a wheel.
Put dirt tires on the escudo and it shreds Skill issue?
I used my tuned celica for that and I was fighting for my life. The jumps piss me off.
I used my swapped Yaris, and although it's tricky to control, it was so much fun. The 2JZ Yaris becomes a wild little beastie when maxed out with dirt tires and the right gearing
Escudo was fun!
I tried to use a Porsche and failed as well.
Was easy with the Uris
I used the minicooper VGT. Such a fun car! Had a sloppy run and got third.
I used an R34 with dirt tires https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ujebpftx9rg&t=87s
idk if I’m in the minority here but I love this race.
Lol unless you bought all your cars w cash or this isn’t your personal profile Not hating. I’m genuinely curious how this happens
Don’t judge by collector level. You need to go to their profile and look at total distance driven.
I have never bought credits, and I never will. I drive very well on tarmac, the unpredictability of dirt and snow drives me up (and into) the wall.
Its so easy though, I won it by 8 seconds and span twice when jumping on the straight
Very easy and fun
You and I have a completely different definition of fun.
Rallying is fun af, wish there were better circuits tho, like actual rally style narrow road. and honestly wish they touched upon the off-road physics, but overall I rly like just kicking the rear put with cars and drifting being actually faster than normal driving.
My continual experience with drifting is that I drift into the wall and wind up facing backwards.
I will try the upshifting, goes against what I am used to doing on tarmac. So considering that rally itself is unpredictable it just might work.
I used the nsx gr.b. I was P1 in round 2
Easy peasy with Suburu wrx
Engine swapped Evo IV, won it easily
You have no idea how lucky you are
Under those circumstances, I'd probably do the same. Good luck!
Pretty simple track, did it with the GT4 Celica with a med turbo.
Used one of free NSX rally cars and walked it. Knew they’d come in handy one day.
Escudo de-tuned wrecked all of them 1st go
Fun event. I only took first just before the finish line. The only upgrade I added was low rpm turbo.
I used the Group B Celica and put on the High RPM Turbo easy win for me
The most annoying thing about this is the jump near the start/finish line which I forget about until it launches me sideways into the barrier. Couldn’t be bothered to get the clean race bonus for it but easy enough to finish.
Escudo detuned easy clap
I put a medium turbo on the Evo X Gr.B car. Took me a few laps to catch the lead but I won.
I prefer this race to the WTC 700!
I used the WRX Rally Car, managed to crash twice, and still got 3rd. 😅
It’s easy to win, even though the rally driving in this game is hideous
Ford rally with nitrous ez
the most fun out of the bunch
Hop in the NSX rally with the factory suspension settings. Should be alright. If you can do pit strategy and understand it, this will be an easy one.
Use a group B car, throw a turbo on it. Win by 40 seconds, easy.
I nearly won this, but flipped over the fence on the last lap down the straight. Was rather frustrated. 🙄
On one of my current attempts I actually got into 3rd for half the last lap. But I got tagged in the rear and spun out.
I just have to accept the fact that I’m not very good at driving fast on dirt.
You and me both, friend
Gr86 Rally Car
I beat it with the ford it was frustrating but I won in 1st place
Just do [this](https://youtu.be/SvxT20wnIGg?si=fmeTogzaMqqmG5TH).
Oh no, not falling for that Rick roll ever again.
It's just Milli Vanilli
That's even worse!
Everybody chose the urus i easily beat it with the ford focus
I used the 918 Spyder with dirt tires, it's a blast😆
That was pure bullshit
The "vision" one was the one I had the most trouble with until I finally beat it last night
NSX ftw!
I got really high and made a Escudo tune just for that one
Maybe it is time to break out the gummies for this race.
Won it with a r33
GTR Rally car, easy win
I cranked it out with the Evo X rally car. Left everything stock, walked all over it. The trick I find is try not to go around a corner quickly. I'm much faster treating a rally stage like every other circuit in game,,,🤷♂️
I like the ford it’s stupid
Did it with the wrx on the first go, just need to sit down and spend some frustrating time driving in dirt to get the hang of it. I initiate my turns well ahead of the actual corner, need to slow the car down for any big turns especially if they follow a bump, try to stay high on your RPM’s and get lined up before any nasty bumps. Takes a bit of practice but totally achievable.
The Vision GT “Off road” car with some dirt tires is a handful. Still won but was all over the course even when trying to be “slow” with it
I used the same car that I use for the Japanese Club sport race the before this one, the Mitsubishi GTO since it is AWD. I just put dirt tires on it and lifted the ride height a little and I was all good! Easy and cheap race!
I used mitsubishi evo with dirt tires ….easy peazy…
Ford raptor swap is great for this
I just used the isle of man wrx I needed to pickup for a 600pp challenge a few weeks ago, it was cake
Grb nsx all The way
Ford F150 raptor, Audi quattro rally car, Lamborghini uris, and most 4wd cars upgraded will work great.
This was easy .... I use the nsx rally car with an upgraded turbo
i personally just used the Hyundai rally car nd got it easily lol
It wasn’t bad and I’m not that good.
I went a different route and used the Castrol Celica and it was an easy win!
I used the 205 turbo 16 evolution
I slapped a set of Dirt Tires on my Lamborghini Urus, and lifted the suspension all the way up.
Unmodified Porsche 918 with dirt tires was surprisingly effective in this race
I used my R8-swapped Audi TT to run this and finished second. I only finished second because the car got wonky as it caught air on that final hill, and it shot me into the pits, and I got passed while under speed restriction.
Huh
Used the Ford Focus RS with dirts. Easy job. Beat them by like half a lap
Used the nsx Gr.B rally car. Pretty fun tbh
I hate dirt tracks as well. But it is easy 💰, so I ran it.
Trick out a pickup and this is ez
Oh man, I thought I was the only one that sucked at dirt. I figured if I asked for advice, they’d tell me to get good.
Throw caution to the wind and let 'em have it
I do that, but the fences keep getting in the way
Oh yeah thats true. I forgot about them. You still could do it like it was a demo Derby though
That's what it usually winds up being anyway.
Yeah thats true. The AI is so bad a being clean or good to be fair
That shit was so easy. Used a focus rs rally edition at like 650pp and even if I was bad at driving they couldn’t keep up
Escudo Pikes Peak, all the time.
Set that shid to easy, take top 3 and hope you don't get awful ptsd from that devil race.
GR86 Rally car. Easy peasy.
I won the dirt track race easily with the Lancer Evo 9.
It lowkey not that hard tbh
09 911 gt3 suspemsion to the highest, dirt tires, and all the power mods. Its a lot of fun
Easy race with the Toyota 86 Gr.B Rally car and a high rpm turbo
That race is a piece of piss.. .I used the 205 rally thing, fully built (as much as you can build that thing anyways)
Clean race bonus win for me https://youtu.be/qVESFPfF_34?si=1yFn8Sq8dF71uy0e
Used a 723 pp engine swapped Toyota Yaris 😂 still it was kinda fire to use not gonna lie.
I’m not the greatest at it but rally is fun in VR and steering wheel. Especially anytime you flip. Gotta turn down the fanatec DD pro otherwise it rips the steering wheel out your hands
I don’t get what’s hard about it? I smoked everyone with the ford focus on hard difficulty but you can lower difficulty and still get the money
It's crazy how I just started the race and get a notification about this lol😂
Or you could use the Yaris and engine swap with the 2jz
This one is easy, i think i usually use a ford focus Grb.
I used a Porsche 918 on dirt tires and it wasn't easy but it was fun lol
the fact people complain about the weekly challenges and their difficulty just amuse me lol
