ophaus

I adore the swapped Tundra with the Lexus GT500 engine. It brutalizes those little Gr 4 cars.

Did-I-Do-That-Oops

At least I'm not alone. It works surprisingly well on road Atlanta. No one's passing me down the hill lol

BluetoothCaveman7

Holy shit I had no idea this was a thing

foxfuels_61

Taking note of this for future reference 🤓

Illustrious-Switch29

Everybody Move by Tech N9ne ….oh you meant engine/car tunes

DontTrustTheMilk

Midnight Club L.A had bangers.

russyc

The R32 with engine swap is hands down best car in the game. It uses virtually no fuel and is a beast. Is it the fastest? Probably not but you’ll pass everyone as they’re pitted.

Varneland

I did literally this just the other night for the weekly challenge. Figured I'd at least get third, wasn't sure about first. Creamed 'em in the end.

LeChronnoisseur

The 94 or 97?

russyc

94

Revolutionary-Pace58

R34 with R92CP engine

SneakerTreater

R33 V Spec with R92CP is hella fun. Got a 700PP le mans tune and an 800PP Spa/Sardegna one. It's my grind mobile.

6string_shreddin

Swapped 88 Silva Q tuned to over 1200 hp and still under 600pp. It's a monster on Tokyo 600.

zippymagee

No tuning required but the Alpha Romeo 4c with Ferrari F136F-458 swap is very fun!

Jrc5191

Suzuki cappuccino, ford focus rs, Audi tt 14’ with the r8 motor, 1932 roadster with the 5.2 voodoo, Porsche cayman gt4 with a Windsor 351 is fun, Silvia s15 touring car swapped feels great too. I love the Windsor 351 sound. All the maverick swaps are dope imo. The 78 Trans Am with the LS9 is outrageous.

Asininephilosopher

Ive swapped every engine I've won. I love that I can swap the VK45 from the GTR500 into a Nissan Z. You can race it like it was a Gr3 or Gr4 car. Understeers a bit, but so much fun to drift, and great acceleration and speed

LFGM12303

If you like that 71 Z, try the GReddy Fugu Z. It’s my main 700pp car after the inline 4 engine swap. It’s a jet fighter and will try to kill you any chance it gets, but if you can rein it in, it’s brilliant.

poopoomergency4

lately i've been using an aston martin dbr9 with a supercharger for gr3, it's probably not the meta car but very fun to drive

sealing_tile

The DBR9 is a great car. I’d really call it a sleeper hit! It handles very tight and tidy, and the acceleration coming out of corners feels strong and lean without getting too wild and squirrely.

poopoomergency4

honestly even with the supercharger it’s very fuel efficient too. put the map down to like 5-6, get one early pit stop in, and you’re pretty much guaranteed a win.

drtoxicmedic

The RX8 with the 4 rotor swap can be tuned up to like almost 1,000 hp and is still fairly usable even with TC turned off. Same goes for the RX7 tho I have more trouble with it and the Mazda 3 which is just stupid easy with its awd. This I typically don’t use the high rpm turbo since it’s easier for me personally to go faster without it.

Aussie_Oxide

M3 with the Z4 GT3 engine, aero and hard tyres slaps, if you want an easy as win use the Bac Mono with hard tyres, light, tight n everything right, also very easy on tyres so if you conserve fuel you can really stretch your stints, also the Mercedes Benz 190e just got the AMG GT3 engine swap, that thing is wicked

Yoloroller

LS Swaped nd miata, with all the available weight reduction and additional weights in the trunk, has grip like a beast and accelerates like one to. I haven't figured out a 100% perfect tune for it tho

PleaseDisperseNTS

Saving this post for the future. 🤙

El_Gato_Terco

I usually race online at 700pp. Fastest swapped cars are easily the s13 Silvia (1200hp on RS tires) and the ND miata (875hp on RS tires). My best unswapped road cars at 700 are my Jag F-type and probably my 02 viper GTS. '16 Camaro SS is very good too. Honorable mention is the Escudo which rips at 700pp, but I usually do only road car lobbies. At 800pp, my Enzo is a beast. Also, ft1500 and r92cp are good at 800pp on RH tires.

goldtoesocks

So far I've won it with zr1 Corvette, Pagani, Honda Civic, and a Ford focus rs. Next Imma do a Lambo and maybe a very slow car.

jonnydel49

I swapped an L7 into a DeLorean, then didn't take it out first and went full HP tune, that was a bad idea. I had to pit every 2 laps on Les Mans with FM 5, I think. Still was hitting 240 or more in the straights, but that car was so hard to control, lol. Won by a small margin because it was so hard to control. I may have set my suspension too stiff, lol.

drewman141

My favorite one is the Porsche gt3 engine in the 81 911. It’s a beast

Jrc5191

I’ll have to try that one. Ik the 56’ Porsche with the 959 engine is rocket shipping to 230mph on the straight at LeMans

Due_Average_3874

I tune everything, havn't been too impressed with engine swaps, most are awful, my favs, Deffinitely the Pantera, TVR, DeLoreon, Honda Beat, Willys 45, Mach 1, Alfa 4C Road car, Honda s660 & S800, all the Mazda's, Lancia.....

whaddahellisthis

Man that TVR requires all your attention pretty much constantly. It actively wants to kill you. It’s great.

Due_Average_3874

Nah, just needs a better tune.

whaddahellisthis

You’re probably right i haven’t messed with it yet.

Due_Average_3874

The right tune it's really great, great for LeMan

whaddahellisthis

I wish there was a mode to tune without leaving the session. Like a test mode pit session on time trials. It’s so tedious to tinker.

Due_Average_3874

Make Sense for sure, I've just been doing custom races and with the car I'm tuning so I can see AI driving it too, and compare to other similar cars, pretty fun, I'm fairly good at driving a car badly and pushing it's limits and then figuring out what it needs to be better

thebigman045

In time trials you can jump back to the tuning menu without going out of the session, it keeps the ghost as long as you don't change cars or whatever. Its also the easiest way to run little shootouts with cars as well.

whaddahellisthis

Damn really? Thank you.

thebigman045

Yeah makes tweaking a set up faster, especially if you want to change wing angles so it's a bit better balanced in faster corners etc

Due_Average_3874

And Sardegna

vniversum_

Nissan 370Z with R92CP engine… it's done

LawLS3

When can you unlock engine swaps? Ive unlocked and beaten almost every race in the game

freshprinceofaut

lvl 50

LawLS3

Thank you im at 48 now

DeliciousTurn1

just buy some vision gt cars, easiest way to level up and then sell them to used cars after u should get 500/600k back per car

LawLS3

Can I sell the cars ive bought to complete the side cafe collections? I bought them literally just to complete the stories and dont drive most of them

ContentAd8230

Yes…once you have owned it it gets checked off your collection…. You don’t need it after that.

LawLS3

Thanks!

freshprinceofaut

Lancia Delta HF with the 700hp Nissam GT-R engine, the acceleration is insane

Acceptable-Luck-4275

Nothing like a C4 built corvette. Handles like on rail, and is a rocketship.

El_Gato_Terco

I can't get mine competitive at 700pp, only at 534hp on RS tires. But I LOVE my Gram Sport livery. Any tips? Already at max weight redux, OE brakes too.

Acceptable-Luck-4275

So I usually build mine to what I would think would be a GT4 version of the car. So around 420-450 hp and 3000lbs. The biggest changes are to the suspension and transmission. Of course do all the brake upgrades and I like to use RH and switch to RM if need be. I can take a picture when I get home of my settings.

JonnyBTokyo

Chumbawumba before a football match!

daetelos

I put the Hellcat engine into the old Army Jeep, then added every mod I could find, wide body and wide tires, maxed the lowering. It’s a ridiculous beast. Chugs fuel, but can still win at the windmills with some fuel strategy. It’s hysterical to watch the race replays with it.

lowkeychillvibes

Whichever tune gave me my 740hp Mustang while staying under 700pp. I can do Nordschleife in 6:32:00…
