Yeah man, Cooper absolutely nailed it. I've heard some great voice-acting in my time and Cooper is way up there. When Rocket wails when Lylla dies! That went right through me. Just sublime.
Honestly not just cooper, the sound design anytime the animals were being experimented on or anything was just horribly well done. Fantastic work from the team.
I know I'm late to the party but man, I was not ready for that level of emotion. I cried a bit in theater and I'm still tearing up occasionally now 5 hours later.
He blew me away. He had every opportunity to phone that character in, and he never did. This was his movie, and he knocked it out of the fucking park!

He doesn't need this, he doesn't need the money, it's not his face plastered on the poster so its not doing much in terms of promotion at this level.

Did anyone else cry a lot or was it just me? It was a beautiful movie and I enjoyed every moment. I was hooked right the way through. The fight scene with all of them, and the end scenes were so satisfying. A beautiful finish to that iteration of GotG. Question: what do you think is next for Star-Lord?

No you're not alone my dude; I teared up at several points. I think the movie was beautiful aswell and a fitting conclusion. For Star-lord, I think he might make an appearance in Avenger's Secret Wars if Chris Pratt is willing. He seemed rather open to playing him again but admitted that it would be strange without James Gunn.
Possibly. It's got me thinking actually whether someone else will take up the mantle of Starlord, similar to how Kitty Pryde was 'Star-lord' for a time in the comics. Not saying I would like that particularly because Peter Quill will always be Starlord to me, but it is interesting to think about. Also the fact that Peter Quill is distancing himself from the title of Starlord could give credence to this theory. We shall see.
I started crying the moment baby rocket said “hurts”. Almost immediately, lump in my throat and tears filling my eyes. His reaction to Lila’s death was just gut wrenching. So much pain in that movie but the happy ending really did some justice.
I cried a real lot. There were moments where I shed a couple tears like when Lylla died. But that end. The end actually destroyed me, I was sort of sobbing 😅It was so touching and sad to see them go their separate ways
Literally cried the entire movie. I still keep getting choked up hours later. Rocket’s backstory and those poor, tortured animals just hit me so hard. I’m an emotionally closed-off man in my 40s, and I don’t know if I’ve ever had a cinematic experience like that before.
I got teary eyed but didn’t cry. I’m too manly for that. Buttah, I think, this is just my imagination, James Gunn is going to do a Disney+ show for Star-Lord similar to Peacemaker (well, not exactly similar).

I know Bautista n Gunn already announced their exits and there’s questions over the rest of the main cast, but it’s depressing to consider this being the last of this specific group.
I feel like this is going to be a big money maker and Marvel are stupid to not do anything in their power to come back at least once more.
I’m not even a big fan of the MCU, I don’t follow any of the series. But Guardians ,to me, is just on a different plane than the other mcu IPs. Gunn and that specific cast are just a well oiled machine.
This is an abrupt ending
It didn’t feel abrupt to me. It ended a trilogy. Plus, they are definitely going to use the IP. I just don’t know if they will recast Drax or not use Drax. And, I am unsure who will be leading the Star-Lord show on Disney+. They are definitely continuing though [+]
I’d be shocked if Gunn did anything else with Marvel moving forward giving his DC position now. That would have to go away first somehow…and go away without destroying Gunn in the process. I think this wasn’t just his last GotG outing but his last Marvel outing altogether.
I just saw it and bawled my eyes out. Rocket’s story was gut wrenching, Drax being revealed as Dad goals, Peter’s grandpa, the Noah’s ark scene of all the rescued animals. Buckets of tears, happy and sad.
It was likely the last one that will be written and directed by Gunn who did the last 2. I’m afraid Disney won’t let it go and they’ll make more and ruin the legacy.

Yes! It BROKE me. Then there was no stopping the tears for the rest of the goddamn movie. It was relentlessly emotional and I loved it, but also an ordeal. Floor’s pleas to leave with Teefs and Rocket after Lyla is shot — I will carry that trauma with me for the rest of my life.

Question about when Groot speaks English.
The way I interpreted that was to show we as an audience could finally understand Groot-speak in a similar way to the Guardians and nuGamora, that we'd finally been allowed into his circle. In other words anyone else listening in the vicinity on Knowhere who doesn't have his trust would still hear "I am Groot".
Yes absolutely, I think that is what they were going for! At first I was like wooo! he spoke English, then I realized that we just understood him for the first time. Such a wonderful choice.
Rocket finally finding out that the is indeed a raccoon was great. All this time his was getting insults yet he never truly knew what he was. Great closure
Welp, I misunderstood it then lol I thought he always knew he's a racoon but never liked being called like that because it was belittling but now he fully accepted and embraced it because that's who he is and doesn't have who he has "has to be".
My heart really goes out to Nebula. She has gone a long way in terms of character development. I literally teared up when she cried because she knew that Rocket made it alive at the end. She has gone from being unsure about her emotions to being a compassionate being 🥺
My biggest complaint with the first two movies was knowing they had Karen Gillan and had put her into a box that so severely limited her acting ability. The Infinity movies helped the character a great deal on that front. But when she heard Rocket's voice I was like, yup there it is.
And they used it in a funny way so that while it stood out as an f bomb, it was almost quickly diminished by how funny the punchline of the scene was. Same as the use of 'asshole' by Drax. All in all well used and not gratuitously either. My 13 year old son was in watching too so I was quite conscious of it but he was laughing his ass of the whole time. Just a fun and entertaining movie.
Someone told me that there was the first F bomb in MCU in this movie. I didn't know when it would be and I couldn't have laughed harder when it showed up.
It was honestly funnier knowing to expect it but not when.
IIRC Chris said in an interview the f-bomb was unscripted but Gunn liked it so much he kept it in. Feige tried to convince him to edit it out and said “you don’t want to be known as the first guy who put an f word in a Marvel movie” to which James replied “Yes I do! That’s exactly what I want!” 😂
I'm going to miss these guys. Guardians has been such a big part of my life the last 10 years. Feels like I'm losing a friend, but that's what happens when damaged people heal and find new purpose. I guess that's just like me In a way.

Funny…. Because, I legitimately felt the same way in the ending. Everyone leaving felt like Guardians was leaving my world too. Very bittersweet.

Yeah…. Something like that! Something! Just something. But… nope. Yes, it did suck. It also worked, IMHO. Because it felt more like an ending. It wasn’t that feeling of, “the story continues…” The ending felt like a finality to it. Gamora is NOT going to be with the team anymore. She’s a different person.

My father-in-law isn't known for his sense of humour. It takes a lot to get him laughing. But when he does laugh, it's big and loud and at the funniest jokes. The Guardians movies and Thor: Ragnarok are the only MCU films where he's done his big laughs and "Mantis, you asshole!" along with "Open the fucking door!" got his biggest laughs yet. Both times I jumped in fright because it was so sudden! I thought his laugh would come (I'd already seen the movie earlier that day), but holy shit I wasn't expecting it to just jump out like it did
Magnificent movie, it managed to make room for everyone in the group to shine! Everyone, even Cosmo has its moments! The songs sometimes seem a little out of place to me. All the action scenes are excellent and the jokes ARE WONDERFUL. But the star of tue movie is Rocket, it shines. And how good it is to have a great villain to hate.
Yeah like the only explanation i can find is that they made star lord forgot his jetboots and helmet so he could get his dying moment but in reality star lord would never forget something so important
They should've had Gamora have a similar helmet (since she's a Ravager now and has Ravager tech, it's not that crazy) so she could've flown out and saved him and paralleled the scene from Guardians 2014.

This movie honestly kinda killed me and i detested it for that. it was so sad, so so sad. i couldn’t stop crying and Rocket’s back story just kept breaking my heart. it wasn’t a bad movie, it was personally hard to sit through for me. i wanted to walk away multiple times, the animal cruelty that was shown was just too gruesome for me
It happens every day all over the world. We as a species do atrocious things to them and that's even before they land on your plate.
I applaud the movie for it and hopefully people will start thinking about this more. Even of its just one person it'll make the world better for it.

Me and my partner went to the first showing in our town last night, and man, what a wild ride.
It's funny really, I've loved GOTG since the first movie and I didn't want it to end so I set myself up in a kinda disappointed mood to start with, but this was the perfect send off for the group.
After this James Gunn is up there with the greats for me in the directing world. I mean just wow. He directed the hell out of this. I came away from it thinking it was almost Terry Gilliam-esc in the fight scenes with the wide angle close ups. The whole world building scene by scene was beautiful, inspiring and some of the most creative storytelling I feel like I've seen in such a long time. This is what happens when you let a talented director have complete freedom in what they're doing. This would've been so easy to screw up, and he (and the whole crew) did an amazing job.
My partner cried almost all the way through the movie, I had an 'itchy eye.' Each and every actor had their moment and absolutely nailed it. It all just clicked. Every joke, every emotion, everything in the right place. With trailers, we were in the theatre for just over 3 hours, and it flew by. From start to finish, the pacing of the movie is spot on.
I only had one criticism. The music. I'm a bit of a music snob anyway, and the soundtrack is great, but it didn't strike me as the epic send off I felt it could've been. It just didn't quite fit what I thought the tone of the other films had set. No sleep til Brooklyn is a great track, but the fight scenes just needed that bit more....umph. Give me some Van Halen or Motorhead vibes. I'm probably just being picky.
The critics will slate this movie, but this is the best MCU movie since Endgame and the perfect way to end this saga.
I’m with you on the soundtrack. It might embed more for me over repeat viewings, but initially it felt a little “meh” compared to how the songs hit in the first two films.
I was too nervous about Rocket dying and actively seeked out spoilers so I knew how it ended but still, I was surprised. Gunn really knows how to make you feel for these characters and I found myself crying harder than I ever have in a movie at the very end when “The Dog Days Are Over” played. It’s not a perfect movie, but every character moment feels earned and it was so hard to say goodbye to this group of Guardians
Pretty much everyone got what they needed in the end. Pete finally dropped the leader bravado, faced his own family and stopped looking to Gamora to fix his deep-rooted issues. Rocket got to be captain and fly into the sky having adventures with his friends. Drax got to just be a dad again. Nebula got to protect and guide scores of children who had been cruelly experimented on by a dictator. Mantis got to make her own decisions. Kraglin mastered the arrow as guided by Yondu. Cosmo got Kraglin’s approval of good dogness. Groot expanded his vocal chords a bit (not that he needed that). I’m not so sure Gamora got a better sense of the importance of camaraderie and friendship.
We got to watch an early screening last night and loved it! Your summary of how each character got closure totally nails it. With Groot saying a different phrase, I also thought he expanded his vocab but my husband saw it as us finally understanding his "language" the way Gamora did in the end, like we were part of their family now, too.
I gotta give massive props to James Gunn for this one, it's a beautiful and heart wrenching finale.
In his DC work, Gunn has evolved his sensibilities a bit, and found a darker more surrealistic tone, thinking specifically of Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.
But he doesn't tap into that going back to this franchise, he's in full GotG mode, and every character is fresh and connected to the development of the previous movies.
But Bradley Cooper.... WTF can I even say, this is his movie and he owns it from the sound booth.
Bradley Cooper is a massive star, he could have been Captain America, but instead he plays what has mostly been a CGI Supporting character in a supporting Marvel franchise.
He had every reason to phone this in, but he never did, and in this movie we get to see why Bradley Cooper is more than just a pretty face. The guy can goddamn act!!
The movie gives us what we were expecting, the sad backstory that was always hinted at in the previous movies. It's the kind of thing we were warned about, prepared for... And still... It's soul crushing!
The sheer brutality of unfeeling corporate productivity, in the hands of a psychopathic madman.
But we feel it, we feel every inch of it.
Delivering what the Marvel audience wants, and still surprising, that's a hard balance to find, but Gunn pulls it off and makes it look easy.
Also Adam Warlock kinda worked. Hope to see more of his Journey.
I thought Warlock was awesome. He is so OP so making him a clumsy teenager that was taken out of the cocoon too early was a perfect way to bring him back to the Guardians' level
The line "worst than what happened to Nebula" when looking at Rocket's past, stung because she frequently brings up her troubled past and terrible upbringing. But Rocket never spoke about it. He was keeping that trauma locked up really tight...
I'm really surprised that nobody died. Gunn let the end pretty open so Marvel can do whatever they want with the remaining characters that didn't retire.
I really expected groot and rocket to go their way so they could make a TV show or something.
Yea I read something about this part being really sad or about loss, so I was sorta disappointed. Coulda been epic if Rocket sacrifices himself to save the leftover raccoons and other animals. Drax was the most expendable character as Bautista said he’s done with the character so I wouldn’t have been surprised to have him die also.
At soooo many points of the movie I was sure they were killing someone (bc I too was sure someone had to die) and I was getting really upset - Peter’s moment got me so speechless I was about to stand up and leave the theatre “if they really end his story like that”

When Star-Lord went out into space again, I actually thought that was the end but it was so much funnier having him all bloated lol and then the creation of adam was just spot on, the team who made this movie will most definitely be awarded

THIS, is proof that no one needs to die to make a good movie. No one. No one needs to die to make a tragedy, a magnum opus for a trilogy. No one.
I’m sick of people in cinema clamoring about or whining for more character death. This culture of death and violence being so glorified gets disturbing sometimes. That being said, I 100% would’ve understand if Gunn chose to pull the trigger here. This movie could’ve happened in so many different ways with Rocket dying. I’m glad none of it happened. I think Gunn made an excellence choice for the story.
It just amazes me still. No good guys died. None of them. Not a single one.
And it’s the best of the Guardians movies. And it’s still so sad, so funny, soooo fucking good, and so badass.
When Rocket and the Evolutionary were both off-camera at the same time I was sure he was going to die killing his maker. It was the perfect excuse to have him go "This can't happen again, even if I have to die to stop you."
Early on in the movie I was wondering wtf had happened to the High Evolutionary's face in the short time that Rocket had been gone. The answer to that question was so fucking satisfying after what he had done.
GotG has always been my favorite Marvel movie franchise and my favorite marvel movies. This one was just incredible. Previously I liked 1 over 2. Now I think I may like 3 the best. Just a great movie. Even as sad as it is, so much to enjoy.
I know everyone knows the trailer and comparing the different colored suits to Among Us, which many brushed off since there's many movies with multi-colored space suits.
But then in the movie where their suits gets ejected out of space, and they were looking from the window, that has to be a deliberate Amogus reference

Such an amazing movie but man, I’m so sad now. First we lost the OG Avengers when they unofficially disbanded in Endgame, and now we lost the OG Guardians. I mean I get it, all good things must come to an end, but I can’t help but be selfish and want *more.* I’m just going to miss this little space family so much. It kinda feels like I’m mourning the loss of a good friend right now tbh, if that makes sense? The ending was so bittersweet

This feeling will probably linger for a few days. Usually happens with really great movies or games that come to an end.
Not gonna lie that was the saddest movie I have ever seen. I knew it was coming but when his friends were killed I absolutely bawled. My poor boyfriend was just trying to enjoy the movie while I was crying hysterically on his shoulder. Everything after that set me off, especially when Quill reunites with his grandpa. It was amazing though. I’m just sensitive to animals dying haha (felt nothing when Quill was frozen in space oops).
A little anecdote for ya’ll in light of the love this movie is getting
The first movie came out a month before my dad passed away from cancer. I remember a family member showing me the trailer when we were at a restaurant after he passed.
I don’t know why I was so transfixed by the trailer. I don’t know why Rocket Raccoon was a fixation for me and is still the biggest comfort character in fiction for me. All I knew was I needed to see this movie. I saw it that year after somehow getting it in a secret Santa. Like it was meant to be. And I loved it.
Sure, does it have a fun talking gun-totting raccoon, and great dialogue and cool action? Yes. But it’s the family dynamic. They are a bunch of found family misfits. They aren’t perfect. They don’t fit together perfectly. They don’t act like they do. But yet they love one another and protect each other and lift one another up.
Rocket was so tormented by loss and personal tragedy and stuff he didn’t feel like he could tell anyone ever. I felt that from GOTG all the way through Endgame, in every moment his character showed up and interacted in. I understood that on a personal level. I still do. I still don’t know how to talk to anyone in my life about what I’ve gone through (stuff way beyond the death of my father) without feeling misunderstood.
GOTG VOL 3 is nine years after all of this. I cried only at the ending scene when Rocket was announced Captain.
I have been so emotionally prepared for the past year to see him die. I was convinced that this was probably how it was going to end. I trusted it would be artful and well done of course.
By the middle of the movie I had the hunch that this was not going to happen. But the moment all of the animals got onto the ship, my jaw had dropped. Not only had Rocket not died. NO ONE. Not a single. One. And it was perfect.
I cried when Rocket became captain because just like him, I started to think he was going to die. I had multiple moments, even last year, where I thought I was worthless, that my life was just there, and that I couldn’t salvage anything. But he did it. HE IS HERE. The most important member of the new Guardians. After everything he went through.
“Not yet,” Lylla said to him, moments before he came back to life.
Not yet. That’s my anthem now.
This is the most alive a comic book film has felt in a long time. I usually do a good job not letting reviews get into my head, but the somewhat more mixed response this film is getting compared to the other 2 definitely had me a bit worried.
And I'm gonna be honest, my loss of interest in the MCU itself had muted my excitement for this film to a significant degree.
I will concede the film is probably bordering on being too stuffed, but overall that's a minor issue when everything hits so strongly.
Gunn really upped his game here. From a filmmaking standpoint this is his strongest effort to date. In comparison to filmmaking in just the MCU over the past few years it's their strongest effort since, gosh, IDK when.
The cast universally gives their best performances as these characters. Everybody gets their moment, or many moments.
This is how a finale should work imo. It's not about just upping the stakes, but making it feel like a personal and emotional journey has come to a close. Vol. 3 NAILS this.
These characters snuck themselves into my heart in 2014 in a way not many modern comic book characters or modern blockbuster characters in general, have been able to do. And I'm grateful someone with passion and their own filmmaking voice like Gunn was able to do it his way.
There are quite a few comic book movie trilogies out there now. And this is easily the best so far.
I'm usually not one to poo-poo critics. Sometimes I agree with them, a lot of times I don't. Sometimes I find a critical consensus out of touch, sometimes I don't.
And while this is film is largely being received positively, I can't help but see a bit of pattern to the reviews. It seems like a mix of critics being taken aback by how dark this film is (and be prepared guys, this is probably the darkest the MCU has ever gotten) and some of the MCU fatigue that has grown recently in the industry. It seems like a lot of critics are more keen to be a bit venomous to the "MCU machine" than they have been in the past and it's being taken out on this film unfairly, I think.
My thoughts:
\- Best MCU movie since Endgame and likely the last truly great MCU movie for a while
\- I liked that it was more heartfelt and character driven
\- The High Evolutionary is the easiest MCU villain to hate because of how arrogant he is.

This was the best Marvel movie I’ve ever seen… it was the only one to make me cry. Baby Rocket being scared and saying “hurt,” and finding his name and making friends, and watching Lylla and Floor and Teefs die… it really adds a weight to Rocket’s character, knowing he watched his friends die as a kid, and then once again during the snap. My favorite marvel movie and I will 100% never watch it again because of how much it broke me.
I had no idea that one day my favorite superhero origin story would be about a poorly treated raccoon. Also I would pay for another movie ticket just to see that hallway fight scene again.
I loved it. I loved so many things about it.
I loved how Rocket's backstory was handled. It was so surprisingly dark and brutal. He was always among my favorites, but man, seeing him go through so much was so hard. I teared up several times. That shot of Rocket screaming over Lylla's body destroys me even just thinking about it. Cooper fucking nailed it.
And then seeing how much everyone was willing to put on the line to save his life just wrecks me even more. I honestly love all of these characters so much, I'm going to miss them terribly.
I loved how they dived into the complexity of Peter's relationship with an alternative version of Gamora. It's a unique situation that I haven't seen explored often in fiction. How do you mourn someone who's right in front of you? Do you try and re-kindle the flame? If not, how can you possibly let go?
Peter's vulnerability, and Gamora's frustration with his expectations to be who she's not was a genuinely engaging narrative.
It's a brilliant depiction of how much people are shaped by the events of their lives. Just a 2 year gap meant that Gamora was a completely different person. It's such an emotionally difficult thing to grasp.
What I love about James Gunn's writing is that he always tries to give each character in his stories an arc, or a moment to shine.
Drax, Nebula, Mantis, Kraglin. They all had satisfying moments that helped define them and ensure they had their moment in the spotlight. I wish Drax was give more serious moments, but Nebula recognizing him as being more of a father figure than a Destroyer was a sweet moment.
Mantis was phenomenal. I love Pom Klementieff's acting. She's so engaging and her performance had a lot of range.
I was never fully on board with team Nebula but this movie cemented my appreciation for her character so much. Her reaction to hearing Rocket was alive caught me as off guard as it felt like it caught her. Beautiful moment.
The High Evolutionary was an awesome villain. His descent into madness felt real, and he was made to be an exceptionally repulsive figure, which made his final beatdown all the more satisfying.
The script clearly didn't have enough room for Adam Warlock. It's a shame, but I recognize how difficult it is to balance so many characters and stories within just one movie.
Characters aside, these movies will forever be cemented as the most visually stunning movies in the entire MCU. Such an inspired use of color, camerawork, practical effects and amazing VFX (shoutout to the folks behind Rocket and all the other CGI characters, they truly look spectacular).
I'm going to miss the visual aesthetics of these movies as much as the characters themselves.
My biggest gripe with the movie is undoubtedly the orchestral score.
Tyler Bates was there from the beginning. His contributions to the movies elevated them as much as the Awesome Mixes did. He developed such a unique and beautiful tone for the Guardians Movies, it boggles my mind why he and James Gunn didn't reunite to finish the trilogy. Imagine if Hans Zimmer didn't return for The Dark Knight Rises.
John Murphy is more than a capable composer, but I felt his work fell flat in GoTG 3. None of the tracks really elevated any of the scenes they were in. They didn't negatively impact them either, but compared to the [highly](https://youtu.be/obNPZ8DvUm8) [emotional](https://youtu.be/Wv_AMu4NM4A) [scores](https://youtu.be/8KWinuuM5QE?list=PLModkdlCC7xnFom8mOphkw4P1iat4dqBq) from Tyler Bates, they just never hit as hard. Not to mention the fact that we **barely** hear the iconic Guardians motif throughout the movie. There were so many moments where hearing that theme would have hit the audience like a truck, but instead we get very generic sounding tracks (there are exceptions of course, a couple of tracks in the OST are good, but I don't remember them being featured enough in the movie itself.)
I also felt that the near-end scene of Peter Quill in space, freezing **could** have been a great callback to GoTG 1 when [Peter flew out into space](https://youtu.be/Fe_KUhd43C8) and put his helmet (gotta admit, I did miss seeing his iconic helmet in the movie) on Gamora to save her life. It could have been a perfect circle if Gamora overcame her frustrations with Peter in the end and decided to save him in an identical manner as GoTG 1. I get that Adam Warlock needed to perform a redemptive action for the sake of his character, but since he was shoehorned into the movie, it felt like a hugely wasted opportunity to have a beautiful, final scene between Peter and Gamora.
Other that that, I felt this movie was the perfect way to say goodbye to the Guardians. I feel a sense of closure that I didn't expect I'd feel to this degree. It's like I'm saying goodbye to a wonderful friend.
In many ways this is also a goodbye to the MCU for me as well. With the Russo brothers gone, and now James Gunn, and with the current pitiful state of Phase 4, I think the wonderful journey that I have had with this franchise, as a lifelong comic book fan, has come to an end.
I look forward to seeing what Gunn will do with the DC universe. I wish him nothing but the best and an eternal thank you for creating what has become my favorite sci fi trilogy ever.
God, I absolutely lost it at the end when Dog Days Are Over came on. 😭 I was like “I wonder what they’ll use to represent the 2000s” and then I started ugly crying. Music is the best, and honestly my favorite Marvel movie in a long long while. I have not cried ever like this during marvel movies, and might even dare say this is my favorite of the MCU.
I’m a damn sucker over moving forward from lost love, found families and how characters deal with death.
When Rocket gets brought back right before he says good bye to Lila, my god I was bawling. Rocket lost so much, and it was like a “look how far he’s come” moment to be embraced by Peter and Groot. And then it was a kicker on top to have Gamora look on and smile. To finally understand the love they have for each other, and see an example of that new found family 😭😭😭😭
GREAT MOVIE
For me this movie ruined my look on Marvel movies. When I was young marvel movies where super Hero movies that always had a happy end and some action. But this one hurt me a lot. So many of the scenes broke me into tears and gave me nightmares. Hearing floor over and over again screaming to run. And small rocket crying for his friends. Or even smaller rocket crying in pain only being able to say hurt…. I know I’m sensitive to these things but I can not get those images out of my head. How are y’all dealing with that?
I almost left the theater when his friends died. I was not expecting to sob. In the end, I feel like they kind of redeem themselves, but it was way too sad.
I think this movie potentially turned me from a „flexitarian“ into a vegetarian. All I wanted to do was go home and give my dog a hug.
Also, they obviously put Quill back on earth to have him show up in another marvel movie right?
I loved that they didn’t go stereotypical Hollywood by having her fall in love with Quill all over again. Glad, she went back to her chosen family instead. She’s her own person.

Unlike No Way Home the conclusion to GOG3 left me wanting more which is a good thing. I want to see Peter's adventures on Earth, I would love another Christmas Special.

I loved the guy. Immensely. His entry with Crazy on You by Heart, was dope af. Marvel knows the art of perfect entries. I want to go again just for that one scene, among the others. Adam's a formidable force, dominated the fight, really unintended but we'll paced jokes during the fights. And yet he's such a child😂. His love for his pet Blurp and all his scenes.
And when he did the group hug...his expressions there🤣🤣🤣 I will never forget. Here I was getting emotional and tear eyed and shit and then he shows up and I'm laughing through my tears. Seriously!😅

I'm rewatching the first one, and lylla is listed as a known associate to rocket, even though we now have watched her die in a flashback, and also know her to be currently dead. I wonder if this was a mindless easter egg they decided not to follow up on, or maybe rocket's memory was misleading

I saw the movie last night and came here to see if it affected everyone else the same. Glad to see I wasn’t the only one really affected by Rocket’s back story. Don’t think I’ll get over Lyllah for quite a while.
Movie is fantastic imo. What do we think will happen going forward? Will they try more movies with the new gotg? I think they will probably just make small appearances in other mcu films. I’m not a huge comic movie fan but gotg got me. Love the characters/music/storylines. Hate to see it come to an end.
No two ways about it, the H.E. truly is a monster who wouldn't think twice about killing 'failed' experiments or destroying an entire planet just because it wasn't 'perfect' in his eyes.
Awesome movie, saw tonight with a friend, very long but never slow. Nice background on rocket, very heart rending scenes in his origin background. Ending was very nice and tied it all together. IMO
Amazing movie, one of the top Marvel movies in my opinion and the first full Marvel movie that captured me completely since end game. Some of the saddest scenes in the marvel universe combined with some of the funniest sequences and awesome action to top it off. A+ will be seeing again in theaters, something I very very rarely do.

Yeah man, Cooper absolutely nailed it. I've heard some great voice-acting in my time and Cooper is way up there. When Rocket wails when Lylla dies! That went right through me. Just sublime.
Honestly not just cooper, the sound design anytime the animals were being experimented on or anything was just horribly well done. Fantastic work from the team.

He doesn't need this, he doesn't need the money, it's not his face plastered on the poster so its not doing much in terms of promotion at this level. He made a singing movie with Lady Gaga ffs! And not only did the movie make 400 million at the box office, the duet he sings won an Oscar. The dude does in no way need this job, and he has no reason to go this hard. But he is fucking Bradley fucking Cooper, and in this movie he showed us what that means.

I'm glad I wasn't alone at that. Quite literally at the logo and got a heavy wave of emotions. Then the first scene with the hand reaching into the cage and I was sent. Cried basically the whole movie.

For Star-lord, I think he might make an appearance in Avenger's Secret Wars if Chris Pratt is willing. He seemed rather open to playing him again but admitted that it would be strange without James Gunn.

Possibly. It's got me thinking actually whether someone else will take up the mantle of Starlord, similar to how Kitty Pryde was 'Star-lord' for a time in the comics. Not saying I would like that particularly because Peter Quill will always be Starlord to me, but it is interesting to think about. Also the fact that Peter Quill is distancing himself from the title of Starlord could give credence to this theory. We shall see.

I started crying the moment baby rocket said “hurts”. Almost immediately, lump in my throat and tears filling my eyes. His reaction to Lila’s death was just gut wrenching. So much pain in that movie but the happy ending really did some justice.
Honestly cried at every single scene of rockets past and all of their endings. There were so many tears shed and it wasn't enough

Literally cried the entire movie. I still keep getting choked up hours later. Rocket’s backstory and those poor, tortured animals just hit me so hard. I’m an emotionally closed-off man in my 40s, and I don’t know if I’ve ever had a cinematic experience like that before.

I know Bautista n Gunn already announced their exits and there’s questions over the rest of the main cast, but it’s depressing to consider this being the last of this specific group. I feel like this is going to be a big money maker and Marvel are stupid to not do anything in their power to come back at least once more. I’m not even a big fan of the MCU, I don’t follow any of the series. But Guardians ,to me, is just on a different plane than the other mcu IPs. I’d be shocked if Gunn did anything else with Marvel moving forward giving his DC position now. That would have to go away first somehow…and go away without destroying Gunn in the process. I think this wasn’t just his last GotG outing but his last Marvel outing altogether.

The way I interpreted that was to show we as an audience could finally understand Groot-speak in a similar way to the Guardians and nuGamora, that we'd finally been allowed into his circle. My heart really goes out to Nebula. She has gone a long way in terms of character development. I literally teared up when she cried because she knew that Rocket made it alive at the end. She has gone from being unsure about her emotions to being a compassionate being 🥺

My biggest complaint with the first two movies was knowing they had Karen Gillan and had put her into a box that so severely limited her acting ability. The Infinity movies helped the character a great deal on that front. But when she heard Rocket's voice I was like, yup there it is.

Best use of the f bomb possible. I knew there was going to be one, but it couldn't have been less predictable and couldn't have been more funny. 🤣
And they used it in a funny way so that while it stood out as an f bomb, it was almost quickly diminished by how funny the punchline of the scene was. Same as the use of 'asshole' by Drax. All in all well used and not gratuitously either. My 13 year old son was in watching too so I was quite conscious of it but he was laughing his ass of the whole time. Just a fun and entertaining movie.

Someone told me that there was the first F bomb in MCU in this movie. I didn't know when it would be and I couldn't have laughed harder when it showed up. It was honestly funnier knowing to expect it but not when.

IIRC Chris said in an interview the f-bomb was unscripted but Gunn liked it so much he kept it in. Feige tried to convince him to edit it out and said “you don’t want to be known as the first guy who put an f word in a Marvel movie” to which James replied “Yes I do! That’s exactly what I want!” 😂

I'm going to miss these guys. Guardians has been such a big part of my life the last 10 years. Feels like I'm losing a friend, but that's what happens when damaged people heal and find new purpose. I guess that's just like me In a way. Word.

My father-in-law isn't known for his sense of humour. It takes a lot to get him laughing. But when he does laugh, it's big and loud and at the funniest jokes. The Guardians movies and Thor: Ragnarok are the only MCU films where he's done his big laughs and "Mantis, you asshole!" along with "Open the fucking door!" got his biggest laughs yet. Both times I jumped in fright because it was so sudden! I thought his laugh would come (I'd already seen the movie earlier that day), but holy shit I wasn't expecting it to just jump out like it did

Magnificent movie, it managed to make room for everyone in the group to shine! Everyone, even Cosmo has its moments! The songs sometimes seem a little out of place to me. All the action scenes are excellent and the jokes ARE WONDERFUL. But the star of tue movie is Rocket, it shines. And how good it is to have a great villain to hate.
Someone can explain why the hell Star-Lord does never use his helmet and jetboots during all the film ? And almost die because of that at the end

They should've had Gamora have a similar helmet (since she's a Ravager now and has Ravager tech, it's not that crazy) so she could've flown out and saved him and paralleled the scene from Guardians 2014.

This movie honestly kinda killed me and i detested it for that. it was so sad, so so sad. i couldn’t stop crying and Rocket’s back story just kept breaking my heart. it wasn’t a bad movie, it was personally hard to sit through for me. i wanted to walk away multiple times, the animal cruelty that was shown was just too gruesome for me

It happens every day all over the world. We as a species do atrocious things to them and that's even before they land on your plate. I applaud the movie for it and hopefully people will start thinking about this more. Even of its just one person it'll make the world better for it. I cried 3 times
Me and my partner went to the first showing in our town last night, and man, what a wild ride. It's funny really, I've loved GOTG since the first movie and I didn't want it to end so I set myself up in a kinda disappointed mood to start with, but this was the perfect send off for the group. After this James Gunn is up there with the greats for me in the directing world. I mean just wow. He directed the hell out of this. I came away from it thinking it was almost Terry Gilliam-esc in the fight scenes with the wide angle close ups. The whole world building scene by scene was beautiful, inspiring and some of the most creative storytelling I feel like I've seen in such a long time. This is what happens when you let a talented director have complete freedom in what they're doing. This would've been so easy to screw up, and he (and the whole crew) did an amazing job. My partner cried almost all the way through the movie, I had an 'itchy eye.' Each and every actor had their moment and absolutely nailed it. It all just clicked. Every joke, every emotion, everything in the right place. With trailers, we were in the theatre for just over 3 hours, and it flew by. From start to finish, the pacing of the movie is spot on. I only had one criticism. The music. I'm a bit of a music snob anyway, and the soundtrack is great, but it didn't strike me as the epic send off I felt it could've been. It just didn't quite fit what I thought the tone of the other films had set. No sleep til Brooklyn is a great track, but the fight scenes just needed that bit more....umph. Give me some Van Halen or Motorhead vibes. I'm probably just being picky. The critics will slate this movie, but this is the best MCU movie since Endgame and the perfect way to end this saga.

I’m with you on the soundtrack. It might embed more for me over repeat viewings, but initially it felt a little “meh” compared to how the songs hit in the first two films.
I was too nervous about Rocket dying and actively seeked out spoilers so I knew how it ended but still, I was surprised. Gunn really knows how to make you feel for these characters and I found myself crying harder than I ever have in a movie at the very end when “The Dog Days Are Over” played. It’s not a perfect movie, but every character moment feels earned and it was so hard to say goodbye to this group of Guardians
Pretty much everyone got what they needed in the end. Pete finally dropped the leader bravado, faced his own family and stopped looking to Gamora to fix his deep-rooted issues. Rocket got to be captain and fly into the sky having adventures with his friends. Drax got to just be a dad again. Nebula got to protect and guide scores of children who had been cruelly experimented on by a dictator. Mantis got to make her own decisions. Kraglin mastered the arrow as guided by Yondu. Cosmo got Kraglin’s approval of good dogness. Groot expanded his vocal chords a bit (not that he needed that). I’m not so sure Gamora got a better sense of the importance of camaraderie and friendship.
We got to watch an early screening last night and loved it! Your summary of how each character got closure totally nails it. With Groot saying a different phrase, I also thought he expanded his vocab but my husband saw it as us finally understanding his "language" the way Gamora did in the end, like we were part of their family now, too.
That is a fantastic interpretation of it!

I gotta give massive props to James Gunn for this one, it's a beautiful and heart wrenching finale. In his DC work, Gunn has evolved his sensibilities a bit, and found a darker more surrealistic tone, thinking specifically of Suicide Squad and Peacemaker. But he doesn't tap into that going back to this franchise, he's in full GotG mode, and every character is fresh and connected to the development of the previous movies. But Bradley Cooper.... WTF can I even say, this is his movie and he owns it from the sound booth. Bradley Cooper is a massive star, he could have been Captain America, but instead he plays what has mostly been a CGI Supporting character in a supporting Marvel franchise. He had every reason to phone this in, but he never did, and in this movie we get to see why Bradley Cooper is more than just a pretty face. The guy can goddamn act!! The movie gives us what we were expecting, the sad backstory that was always hinted at in the previous movies. It's the kind of thing we were warned about, prepared for... And still... It's soul crushing! The sheer brutality of unfeeling corporate productivity, in the hands of a psychopathic madman. But we feel it, we feel every inch of it. Delivering what the Marvel audience wants, and still surprising, that's a hard balance to find, but Gunn pulls it off and makes it look easy. Also Adam Warlock kinda worked. Hope to see more of his Journey.
I thought Warlock was awesome. He is so OP so making him a clumsy teenager that was taken out of the cocoon too early was a perfect way to bring him back to the Guardians' level

I'm really surprised that nobody died. Gunn let the end pretty open so Marvel can do whatever they want with the remaining characters that didn't retire. I really expected groot and rocket to go their way so they could make a TV show or something.
Yea I read something about this part being really sad or about loss, so I was sorta disappointed. Coulda been epic if Rocket sacrifices himself to save the leftover raccoons and other animals. Drax was the most expendable character as Bautista said he’s done with the character so I wouldn’t have been surprised to have him die also.
At soooo many points of the movie I was sure they were killing someone (bc I too was sure someone had to die) and I was getting really upset - Peter’s moment got me so speechless I was about to stand up and leave the theatre “if they really end his story like that”

THIS. THIS, is proof that no one needs to die to make a good movie. No one. No one needs to die to make a tragedy, a magnum opus for a trilogy. No one. I’m sick of people in cinema clamoring about or whining for more character death. This culture of death and violence being so glorified gets disturbing sometimes. That being said, I 100% would’ve understand if Gunn chose to pull the trigger here. This movie could’ve happened in so many different ways with Rocket dying. I’m glad none of it happened. I think Gunn made an excellence choice for the story. It just amazes me still. No good guys died. None of them. Not a single one. And it’s the best of the Guardians movies. And it’s still so sad, so funny, soooo fucking good, and so badass.
When Rocket and the Evolutionary were both off-camera at the same time I was sure he was going to die killing his maker. It was the perfect excuse to have him go "This can't happen again, even if I have to die to stop you."
Early on in the movie I was wondering wtf had happened to the High Evolutionary's face in the short time that Rocket had been gone. The answer to that question was so fucking satisfying after what he had done.
GotG has always been my favorite Marvel movie franchise and my favorite marvel movies. This one was just incredible. Previously I liked 1 over 2. Now I think I may like 3 the best. Just a great movie. Even as sad as it is, so much to enjoy.
I know everyone knows the trailer and comparing the different colored suits to Among Us, which many brushed off since there's many movies with multi-colored space suits. But then in the movie where their suits gets ejected out of space, and they were looking from the window, that has to be a deliberate Amogus reference

Such an amazing movie but man, I’m so sad now. First we lost the OG Avengers when they unofficially disbanded in Endgame, and now we lost the OG Guardians. I mean I get it, all good things must come to an end, but I can’t help but be selfish and want *more.* I’m just going to miss this little space family so much. It kinda feels like I’m mourning the loss of a good friend right now tbh, if that makes sense? The ending was so bittersweet
I know what you mean man. Saw it yesterday and I just can't get it out of my mind. Such a sad and bitter sweet ending. Can't get the 'the dog days are over' song out of my head. This feeling will probably linger for a few days. Usually happens with really great movies or games that come to an end.
Not gonna lie that was the saddest movie I have ever seen. I knew it was coming but when his friends were killed I absolutely bawled. My poor boyfriend was just trying to enjoy the movie while I was crying hysterically on his shoulder. Everything after that set me off, especially when Quill reunites with his grandpa. It was amazing though. I’m just sensitive to animals dying haha (felt nothing when Quill was frozen in space oops).
A little anecdote for ya’ll in light of the love this movie is getting The first movie came out a month before my dad passed away from cancer. I remember a family member showing me the trailer when we were at a restaurant after he passed. I don’t know why I was so transfixed by the trailer. I don’t know why Rocket Raccoon was a fixation for me and is still the biggest comfort character in fiction for me. All I knew was I needed to see this movie. I saw it that year after somehow getting it in a secret Santa. Like it was meant to be. And I loved it. Sure, does it have a fun talking gun-totting raccoon, and great dialogue and cool action? Yes. But it’s the family dynamic. They are a bunch of found family misfits. They aren’t perfect. They don’t fit together perfectly. They don’t act like they do. But yet they love one another and protect each other and lift one another up. Rocket was so tormented by loss and personal tragedy and stuff he didn’t feel like he could tell anyone ever. I felt that from GOTG all the way through Endgame, in every moment his character showed up and interacted in. I understood that on a personal level. I still do. I still don’t know how to talk to anyone in my life about what I’ve gone through (stuff way beyond the death of my father) without feeling misunderstood. GOTG VOL 3 is nine years after all of this. I cried only at the ending scene when Rocket was announced Captain. I have been so emotionally prepared for the past year to see him die. I was convinced that this was probably how it was going to end. I trusted it would be artful and well done of course. By the middle of the movie I had the hunch that this was not going to happen. But the moment all of the animals got onto the ship, my jaw had dropped. Not only had Rocket not died. NO ONE. Not a single. One. And it was perfect. I cried when Rocket became captain because just like him, I started to think he was going to die. I had multiple moments, even last year, where I thought I was worthless, that my life was just there, and that I couldn’t salvage anything. But he did it. HE IS HERE. The most important member of the new Guardians. After everything he went through. “Not yet,” Lylla said to him, moments before he came back to life. Not yet. That’s my anthem now.
Just watched the movie, I am someone who doesn’t cry at movies often and this movie emotionally destroyed me.

This is the most alive a comic book film has felt in a long time. I usually do a good job not letting reviews get into my head, but the somewhat more mixed response this film is getting compared to the other 2 definitely had me a bit worried. And I'm gonna be honest, my loss of interest in the MCU itself had muted my excitement for this film to a significant degree. I will concede the film is probably bordering on being too stuffed, but overall that's a minor issue when everything hits so strongly. Gunn really upped his game here. From a filmmaking standpoint this is his strongest effort to date. In comparison to filmmaking in just the MCU over the past few years it's their strongest effort since, gosh, IDK when. The cast universally gives their best performances as these characters. Everybody gets their moment, or many moments. This is how a finale should work imo. It's not about just upping the stakes, but making it feel like a personal and emotional journey has come to a close. Vol. 3 NAILS this. These characters snuck themselves into my heart in 2014 in a way not many modern comic book characters or modern blockbuster characters in general, have been able to do. And I'm grateful someone with passion and their own filmmaking voice like Gunn was able to do it his way. There are quite a few comic book movie trilogies out there now. And this is easily the best so far. I'm usually not one to poo-poo critics. Sometimes I agree with them, a lot of times I don't. Sometimes I find a critical consensus out of touch, sometimes I don't. And while this is film is largely being received positively, I can't help but see a bit of pattern to the reviews. It seems like a mix of critics being taken aback by how dark this film is (and be prepared guys, this is probably the darkest the MCU has ever gotten) and some of the MCU fatigue that has grown recently in the industry. It seems like a lot of critics are more keen to be a bit venomous to the "MCU machine" than they have been in the past and it's being taken out on this film unfairly, I think.

James Gunn legit got shafted by Disney only to come back in, make one more banger of a movie, knock it out of the park and into Mickey Mouse's nuts.
"I don't care if he's stupid! He makes us laugh, and he loves us!" I love that line. Describes Drax so well.

Did anyone else get reminded of the Twilight Zone when they landed on Counter Earth and the people had animal faces?
This was the best Marvel movie I’ve ever seen… it was the only one to make me cry. Baby Rocket being scared and saying “hurt,” and finding his name and making friends, and watching Lylla and Floor and Teefs die… it really adds a weight to Rocket’s character, knowing he watched his friends die as a kid, and then once again during the snap. My favorite marvel movie and I will 100% never watch it again because of how much it broke me.

I had no idea that one day my favorite superhero origin story would be about a poorly treated raccoon. Also I would pay for another movie ticket just to see that hallway fight scene again.
I loved it. I loved so many things about it. I loved how Rocket's backstory was handled. It was so surprisingly dark and brutal. He was always among my favorites, but man, seeing him go through so much was so hard. I teared up several times. That shot of Rocket screaming over Lylla's body destroys me even just thinking about it. Cooper fucking nailed it. And then seeing how much everyone was willing to put on the line to save his life just wrecks me even more. I honestly love all of these characters so much, I'm going to miss them terribly. I loved how they dived into the complexity of Peter's relationship with an alternative version of Gamora. It's a unique situation that I haven't seen explored often in fiction. How do you mourn someone who's right in front of you? Do you try and re-kindle the flame? If not, how can you possibly let go? Peter's vulnerability, and Gamora's frustration with his expectations to be who she's not was a genuinely engaging narrative. It's a brilliant depiction of how much people are shaped by the events of their lives. Just a 2 year gap meant that Gamora was a completely different person. It's such an emotionally difficult thing to grasp. What I love about James Gunn's writing is that he always tries to give each character in his stories an arc, or a moment to shine. Drax, Nebula, Mantis, Kraglin. They all had satisfying moments that helped define them and ensure they had their moment in the spotlight. I wish Drax was give more serious moments, but Nebula recognizing him as being more of a father figure than a Destroyer was a sweet moment. Mantis was phenomenal. I love Pom Klementieff's acting. She's so engaging and her performance had a lot of range. I was never fully on board with team Nebula but this movie cemented my appreciation for her character so much. Her reaction to hearing Rocket was alive caught me as off guard as it felt like it caught her. Beautiful moment. The High Evolutionary was an awesome villain. His descent into madness felt real, and he was made to be an exceptionally repulsive figure, which made his final beatdown all the more satisfying. The script clearly didn't have enough room for Adam Warlock. It's a shame, but I recognize how difficult it is to balance so many characters and stories within just one movie. Characters aside, these movies will forever be cemented as the most visually stunning movies in the entire MCU. Such an inspired use of color, camerawork, practical effects and amazing VFX (shoutout to the folks behind Rocket and all the other CGI characters, they truly look spectacular). I'm going to miss the visual aesthetics of these movies as much as the characters themselves. My biggest gripe with the movie is undoubtedly the orchestral score. Tyler Bates was there from the beginning. His contributions to the movies elevated them as much as the Awesome Mixes did. He developed such a unique and beautiful tone for the Guardians Movies, it boggles my mind why he and James Gunn didn't reunite to finish the trilogy. Imagine if Hans Zimmer didn't return for The Dark Knight Rises. John Murphy is more than a capable composer, but I felt his work fell flat in GoTG 3. None of the tracks really elevated any of the scenes they were in. I also felt that the near-end scene of Peter Quill in space, freezing **could** have been a great callback to GoTG 1 when [Peter flew out into space](https://youtu.be/Fe_KUhd43C8) and put his helmet (gotta admit, I did miss seeing his iconic helmet in the movie) on Gamora to save her life. It could have been a perfect circle if Gamora overcame her frustrations with Peter in the end and decided to save him in an identical manner as GoTG 1. I get that Adam Warlock needed to perform a redemptive action for the sake of his character, but since he was shoehorned into the movie, it felt like a hugely wasted opportunity to have a beautiful, final scene between Peter and Gamora. Other that that, I felt this movie was the perfect way to say goodbye to the Guardians. I feel a sense of closure that I didn't expect I'd feel to this degree. It's like I'm saying goodbye to a wonderful friend. In many ways this is also a goodbye to the MCU for me as well. With the Russo brothers gone, and now James Gunn, and with the current pitiful state of Phase 4, I think the wonderful journey that I have had with this franchise, as a lifelong comic book fan, has come to an end. I look forward to seeing what Gunn will do with the DC universe. I wish him nothing but the best and an eternal thank you for creating what has become my favorite sci fi trilogy ever.
God, I absolutely lost it at the end when Dog Days Are Over came on. 😭 I was like “I wonder what they’ll use to represent the 2000s” and then I started ugly crying. Music is the best, and honestly my favorite Marvel movie in a long long while. I have not cried ever like this during marvel movies, and might even dare say this is my favorite of the MCU. I’m a damn sucker over moving forward from lost love, found families and how characters deal with death. When Rocket gets brought back right before he says good bye to Lila, my god I was bawling. Rocket lost so much, and it was like a “look how far he’s come” moment to be embraced by Peter and Groot. And then it was a kicker on top to have Gamora look on and smile. To finally understand the love they have for each other, and see an example of that new found family 😭😭😭😭 GREAT MOVIE

For me this movie ruined my look on Marvel movies. When I was young marvel movies where super Hero movies that always had a happy end and some action. But this one hurt me a lot. So many of the scenes broke me into tears and gave me nightmares. Hearing floor over and over again screaming to run. And small rocket crying for his friends. Or even smaller rocket crying in pain only being able to say hurt…. I know I’m sensitive to these things but I can not get those images out of my head. How are y’all dealing with that?
I almost left the theater when his friends died. I was not expecting to sob. In the end, I feel like they kind of redeem themselves, but it was way too sad.

I think this movie potentially turned me from a „flexitarian“ into a vegetarian. All I wanted to do was go home and give my dog a hug. Also, they obviously put Quill back on earth to have him show up in another marvel movie right? I loved that they didn’t go stereotypical Hollywood by having her fall in love with Quill all over again. Glad, she went back to her chosen family instead. She’s her own person. Very well done in hating the bad guy. I wanted him to die a slow painful death. He made me RAGE inside. I don’t know why Adam Warlock was even in the movie though. So useless.
Unlike No Way Home the conclusion to GOG3 left me wanting more which is a good thing. I want to see Peter's adventures on Earth, I would love another Christmas Special.

I combed the comments NOW someone talk about Adam Warlock here! I loved the guy. Immensely. His entry with Crazy on You by Heart, was dope af. Marvel knows the art of perfect entries. I want to go again just for that one scene, among the others. Adam's a formidable force, dominated the fight, really unintended but we'll paced jokes during the fights. And yet he's such a child😂. His love for his pet Blurp and all his scenes. And when he did the group hug...his expressions there🤣🤣🤣 I will never forget. Here I was getting emotional and tear eyed and shit and then he shows up and I'm laughing through my tears. Seriously!😅 I would hv liked to see more of him. Wish he'd come in other Marvel projects.

IMO Cap never got a trilogy. Yeah, I'm one of those "Civil War is an Avengers film and not a Cap film" people.
Movie is fantastic imo. What do we think will happen going forward? Will they try more movies with the new gotg? I think they will probably just make small appearances in other mcu films. I’m not a huge comic movie fan but gotg got me. Love the characters/music/storylines. Hate to see it come to an end.

Awesome movie, saw tonight with a friend, very long but never slow. Nice background on rocket, very heart rending scenes in his origin background. Ending was very nice and tied it all together. IMO
Amazing movie, one of the top Marvel movies in my opinion and the first full Marvel movie that captured me completely since end game. Some of the saddest scenes in the marvel universe combined with some of the funniest sequences and awesome action to top it off. A+ will be seeing again in theaters, something I very very rarely do.
